Its Christmas
Its Christmas magnify

Hello folks,

First thing first, a Merry Christmas to you and your dearones and wishing for you all the cool things that can happen. I was busy all this month with my job and things and that is keeping me away from you and 360, but I was always checking it out periodically to see what you all are posting out.

As the Christmas has come and you all have done your lots of shopping, I am also not behind. My shopping and preparation for New Year is almost done. Now what I want is holiday and whole weak off from work, but nah, what you thought never happen. The markets and clubs are on boom, everywhere is decoration and celebration, so why we stay behind? In all around the world the way of celebrating the Christmas and New Year can be different but we know that the main meaning that what we celebrate it for and the sprit to enjoy it is same. As I am back on Yahoo! Answers too now as my third innings, I have started with a strange but curious question about Christmas first of all. Mike asked Why they say Merry Christmas in the USA and Happy Christmas in the UK? Good one, isn’t it!

As I was to totally screwed this month with lots of work, what I have done online are this, some new group to enjoy and discuss. Here are they, ISC (Internet Security Central), Y-MashForum and renovation of Joking Corner and Y-Next. I am never away from the net guys, and also I can’t be!

Now returning back to today theme, what are your plans for the New Year and the old pal Christmas tree (the best part of Christmas)? As I am right away going to a mall and later at night to a hotel party with my colleagues. That’s all with me, see ya soon. Later!

You will....

What is this all Red about?
What is this all Red about? magnify

Actually I have the answers, the all red-red you are seeing on 360 is a part of protest or you can say revolution that 360 users are making to let Yahoo! know how much we care for our 360.

As Yahoo! is closing or migrating 360 in Jan 08 or nearby, many 360 users have changed their profile default pic to red smileys to let the whole community and specially Yahoo! know that 360 deletation or migrating decision is not 100% correct. A site is you’re till you make it, but when it goes www, its public. I know the guidelines but I also know the human nature that we can not decline. We have protest and rights in our blood, and what happening now about this whole 360 is a part of it.

I respect the community decision to go Red to support 360, but also I am not against Yahoo! and I am still not protesting. I will wait for the universal profile system of Yahoo! But I have to say that Yahoo! decision to the 360 is very quick and they should have waited before declaring it a failure. Running Mash and the universal profile in the future will also not be peace of cake for both them and us because then we again have two url’s to share and connect. All I want is a simple 360 or something like that, but please only one place, that we can call our online Home!

It’s your decision to wait and see, or to wait and see but by going Red.

You wll go red?

Add or Multiply
Add or Multiply magnify

Hello folks,

Enjoyed your Halloween? Well thanks for all those candies, infect not in real but I get that love from all of you in e-mails, what’s say!

After the 360 transition thing many peoples have thinking that there long hard work to keep there 360 pages a great place was gone in lame. 360 is closing and so do there all blogs, pics and more. Many and me to are hopeless because page counts are going too, for many it means important. Well as 360 is looking for a new change in future, people also looks for a new home for their online content and in somewhere I hear Multiply! I say adding is simple instead of Multiply.

Multiply is another blogging site, I think it’s new, but it also not so neat and clean as our 360 is or I should say Was. Multiply is all new and we have to make all new pages and profiles with e-mails and all that. Also your Multiply Id will be different from your Yahoo! Id so people have to guess your address there. It’s the same thing that you are living in someone else home. By this time I look at Mash, the new social networking site from Yahoo!, that can be our new page! Yahoo! 360 will not close it will be migrated to another universal profile system of Yahoo! That can be Mash, but also can be something else too. So we are not going to loose our data, blogs, flickr pics and page counts. And on top of all, we are not getting alone too and have to ask again for adding or inviting, all of our friends list will survive and as we are today we will be on tomorrow, without any hassle. The difference will only be of name that it is 360 or Mash or something that is in Yahoo!’s mind but we got nothing to loose but to gain something.

I will not going to leave Yahoo! so easily, I will stay with them. If they are taking our 360 I have to see what they have for us in compare for it. I am ready for the transition, well I will miss 360 but life is another name of change and that’s it for this whole 360 drama going on now everywhere. No blame, No protest, No claims. I will wait and see what they have for us.

No new home people, I will stay.

I will ADD, not Multiply. That’s my simple Math rule……

Do you agree?

Mashing up with 360
Mashing up with 360 magnify

Hello there,

The 360 is going, I know it is not a new news but it is very true and going to happen. As soon as the 360 team announced that our Yahoo! 360 will be a history meaning they will close it, it’s a storm on the community.

Why so?

Yahoo! is preparing for a huge change for services, you may be not aware but the 360 is not alone, Yahoo! Podcast is also going to shut down, Yahoo! Photos is gone and much more will change in nearby future. So this is a preplanned action that is in Yahoo! mind from last months. We never get our bugs fixed and they got worse. Groups not updating, Avatar not showing, Messages delivery and more…. The whole 360 team is working on Yahoo! Mash, and that’s why Yahoo! 360 looses that attention it needs from official part.

Now what?

Yahoo! have decided it so they will do it, I think so. You may be noticed that 360 has been started to act strange, many times it shows old post in blogs and also shows “this page do not exist” and when we refresh it shows it up again. Also now there are no groups showing on many pages, I think so, they are gone.

Yahoo! has decided that Yahoo! Mash or something like that will replace that Yahoo! 360. The so called Yahoo! Universal profile.

What we have to do?

I think we have to wait and see, I am not saying that see our 360 dying, but protesting is not only a single way – but surely is a one. People have showed to Yahoo! that what 360 meant to them everywhere and they are against of this decision. Wait for any reply from them. Yahoo! Mash is a good service with a new concept so we should not hate it. But on another hand we also don’t want that our great 360 will be compromised for it. 360 is a not only a Blogging, but much more to us, that we are addict with more then 2 years, this is more matured then any social networking site. Mash can go for users that use only for friends or social networking or other needs, and we will also use it, but 360 should exsist. That’s what I think.

Yahoo! Mash is not 360 users enemy, but can it be a new site for us if they make it more mature and blog oriented?

Yahoo! 360, the never ending Beta.................

Would you choose Mash as an option for 360?

But why they have done so that need has come?
