I hope everyone had fun celebrating Earth Day this week!

We have volunteers who have direct access to our site via Frontpage...they are all pretty diligent about updating our what's new page so you can see they've put up this week. The others either put up their updates, recaps and best lines up via a form on the web, or they send their articles, etc. in to Gisele or me to put up. All of the work is on there, one way or the other.

We are hoping to move from Frontpage to a Content Management System (CMS) at some point so that it will be easier to put new info up on the site. Right now we are looking at Drupal and Webgui to figure out which one will work best for us. Several people have suggested Joomla, among others, but they will not work for our particular needs.

The recession has not really hurt our site, at least not in any direct way. Maybe we would have made more money on ads if the economy was better, but I don't really know that for sure. We had a partner that was helping us financially, and he is not doing that for now, but that is only partly due to the economy and partly due to his own personal misfortunes. I am still proceeding with the same plans we had for the site: getting a new design, putting the site in CMS, and improving it, and possibly selling it somewhere down the line. We'll see if it works out!

We do have a new volunteer, Daniel, who is working on helping us with the redesign and move to a CMS. This site would be nothing with all of the volunteers!

I have not been very good at doing all the soap opera updates I'm supposed to do...I was doing ok until we went out of town, then I have had a hard time getting back into it. I'm supposed to do Y&R and Guiding Light daily, plus B&B Tues.-Thurs. We might have a new Y&R volunteer, so that would help a lot. One less for me to write. We might have a new volunteer manager as well. We have a fairly new GH update writer, so that is great.

Our site is now on Twitter, so check it out! http://twitter.com/tvmeg

"Dollhouse" on FOX was awesome on Friday. It's such a good show. If you haven't watched it yet, probably best to catch it on DVD so you can know what's going on. I still miss Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. I hope they bring it back next year! What a thrilling show, and such great characters. My guess, btw, about Dollhouse is that Paul Ballard is Alpha. That's just a guess, not a spoiler. I have no prior knowledge or anything. It could also be a few other people. Just have to wait and see, I guess! Next week's episode has Alan Tudyk (who played Wash in Firefly/Serenity), so that will be a treat.

I still miss ER...but I do enjoy Southland a bit. It's kind of like the old Adam 12 or Dragnet, very realistic about day to day police work. But it's the 21st century, so it's grittier while also being more soap-opera-like. I really loved the actor who plays Ben (Ben McKenzie, from The O.C.).

Thursday is really the best night of TV for me. I still love Smallville, even though I really don't enjoy the current Lois-and-Clark relationship that much, and it's clearly on his downward spiral toward the end of the show. I like when they bring in more DC comics characters, like this season they have had Doomsday, Zatanna, the Justice League, the Legion of Superheroes et al. Of course Supernatural is always wonderful. This week's was so sad when they found out their brother was dead, and they never got to meet him. Not that they played it all sad, which in some ways made it worse. CSI is always a great show to watch. The one the previous week, which was all based on Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica, was awesome. Anyone who's a Star Trek fan should watch it. So far I am enjoying the new show "Harper's Island", too. And as I mentioned, Southland. Just a great night of TV. I also still like My Name Is Earl and Ugly Betty, but I can only watch so much TV! Not enough room for everything. Oh, and lest I forget, there's Bones on FOX, although between the reruns and moving it around on other nights, who knows? But I always love that one.

The nice thing about having a DVR is that you don't have to remember when a show is on or look at a guide, it finds it for you and records it anyway, even when it's on a different day and time! That is so cool. So now the only time I miss a show is when I am out of town or if I somehow mess up the recording myself.

I am also enjoying Mondays quite a lot. I just wish Castle, Medium, and CSI Miami were not on at the same time. Fridays are still good, but without Terminator and BSG, not as good as they were.

I am still watching the soaps...every time we travel, I fall behind. I spent all week catching up on Bold & Beautiful. I have mostly caught up on AMC, and I'm starting to catch up on OLTL. If only there were more hours in the day! :)

Hope you are all having a great weekend...

I stupidly forgot last time that Yahoo doesn't make the web site addresses automatically clickable...of course, any real site would do that...anyway, they are fixed now if you want to read my last blog entry again.

Our site's pages mostly say "new content every day!" and that is no lie. We work tirelessly. Our writers write every day during the week and sometimes on the weekend, for both daytime and primetime.

See all of our new content up on our site at http://tvmegasite.net/whatsnew.shtml !!!

Our primary need for new volunteers is for writers to summarize the soaps!!

I can't believe that it's almost April, which means most primetime TV shows are almost over for the season. Only a month or two left. So sad!

I will really miss Kyle XY, which has been canceled. It is a good scifi and family show. I have enjoyed this season with Kyle doing things he normally didn't do before, somewhat turning to his "dark side".

Of course I will also miss Battlestar Galactica, which just finished. It was a great show, and it had a very good ending. As a big fan of Starbuck and Apollo's romance, I was disappointed that she just vanished, POOF! without even a kiss goodbye.

I just watched CSI NY and it was awesome. That is fast becoming my favorite of the CSI shows. I really like the characters. I think that CSI is fine, and Laurence Fishburne is doing a great job, but it's not the same without Grissom, and I don't think the stories are as good as they used to be. CSI Miami is always a bit too violent for me and it is more of a cop show than a scientist show like the others. I like David Caruso, but his character crosses the line a bit too much for me. I like cops to follow the rules in most cases, whether in real life or in TV.

I also loved seeing the old faces in ER...it's very sad to see that show end. It's still great drama after all these years. Seeing Susan Sarandon was a great treat, too! Did you know that her husband Tim Robbins was on the very first episode of "St. Elsewhere"? So in a way, it's come full circle.

Terminator and Dollhouse were awesome last week. I can't wait until the next episodes. That may be the best Terminator episode they've had in a long while. Dollhouse was superb. It took them a long while to get there, but they finally made it really compelling. I was surprised that his girlfriend was a doll...hints given by TV Guide made me think something different. I thought Paul was Alpha. The previews for the next episode look great. I was sorry to see Kevin Kilner as a bad guy, though. At least he seems like a good guy on "Damages" (for now!).

Heroes was fabulous this week. One of the best episodes ever. I still wonder why they feel they have to keep killing off the blonde ladies! That makes five now. I guess Claire and her mom are the only ones allowed to live on the show. They even made me like that witch Angela.

Medium was much better this week. Last week I felt it was stupid and predictable...they used a plot right out of "24" so it was totally predictable. This week was way better, and it had a great ending as well.

We were out of town last week, so I had a friend tape some shows, waiting for those tapes. Especially House!

My husband and I always enjoy watching Family Guy and American Dad on Sundays. This week's should be extra-special because they are doing a Star Trek spoof on Family Guy, featuring the Next Gen cast. I was thrilled to be able to talk to the FG show runner David A. Goodman this week and wrote up my interview for the site.

A few weeks ago, my DISH Network DVR died, so I lost 90 plus hours of programming, mostly soaps. This is the second time this happened. Now I have a new box and it has 350 hours, so that is fabulous. You can also back it up on an external hard drive. So hopefully I won't lose any more stuff.

I definitely watch too much TV and do too much on the computer, so I'm deciding for now to give up watching ABC soaps. I do like them a lot, especially OLTL, but my site needs more people to write CBS soap summaries, so that's what I'll have to concentrate on for now, and it's just too much to watch both. I will keep recording the others and perhaps someday catch up again...also, I will still read about them all in the soap mags and online. I hate having to give up watching any show that I like, but that's the way it goes sometimes. If only they put the soaps on iTunes, I would watch them sometimes on my iPod when I was away from home. Their loss, I guess.

Speaking of watching soaps online, I hate cbs.com! I used to be able to watch the soaps on there without too much problems, but they changed something and now it is so annoying. I have to first turn off my pop-up blockers, then I have to sit through the annoying ads, and they usually only have two or three ads that repeat over and over...and often, it stalls out so I have to reload the page again and start over! Why would anyone put themselves through that? Or my other alternative is to download it via torrents, which has no commercials, but takes forever and you can get crappy quality, and let's face it, it's not legal. Or worse, try to find it on iTunes, where again it's crappy quality and broken up into 5 or 6 parts. Yuk.

OK, that's enough for now, have a great week!!

One thing that I've learned about running this site is that you can't expect anything, good or bad, because life will throw you for a loop! We've had several key volunteers quit, but we also had some great ones start...hopefully things will still go smoothly on the site. I've been happy about all of the work we've gotten done lately.

I am planning on posting for a lot more volunteers, especially for our primetime site. I don't know yet if it will work out...but we really need more help. If I can get more help in the primetime area, then I can do more work in the daytime section. I can do either, but I feel like I have been spending too much time in the primetime area. Well, we'll see how it goes!

Every day is a life lesson, that's for sure! I have to thank all of the people associated with my site for teaching me that ;) Both the good and the bad. I'm just grateful that we can still keep the site up.

You can go to this page http://tvmegasite.net/whatsnew.shtml to see all of the work we do every day! It's very cool.

We have a bunch of new proofreaders, and our volunteer Jacques is now updating the Lost section as well as the Heroes section, yay!! I have been doing as much as I can to update things like spoilers on our current primetime pages.

It's no secret that I watch a lot of TV. I post it all the time on my Facebook page, so check it out at http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=503050336

Right now I am catching up with "As The World Turns" from January. I just love Jon Lindstrom, the actor who plays Craig now. I wish they would reform Craig somewhat. I find it hard to believe that a man of his age would keep acting like an idiot, so self-destructively, and never even get any professional help or grow up.

I am enjoying most of the other soaps, but GH is always annoying, and AMC is not too far behind. Both shows are too plot-driven. They have exciting stories, but they create excitement at the expense of the characters and their history, and also at the expense of common sense. People act like idiots and we're supposed to overlook all that, I guess. We're just supposed to enjoy the ride and ignore the stupidity. I have a real hard time with that. GH has been this way for years, but AMC has just recently started being this way. The new writer came in (from GH of course!) and he has broken every couple up and made people act like idiots. UGH. Why don't they follow the example of One Life to Live, where they somehow manage to have great stories AND good characters AND great dialogue? Is it really that hard? Oh, and Bold and the Beautiful, even though it's on another network, does similar things. The characters change so often, it gives you whiplash. And the drama is so over-the-top that you have to laugh. It's becoming like those telenovelas.

I'm just loving "Battlestar Galactica", it has been awesome. I am so sorry it has to end. Which reminds me, I made a new primetime poll - tell us which show you will miss the most. So many have been canceled already, and it's only February! Take the poll at http://tvmegasite.net/prime/games.shtml

There are just so many good shows on, it's hard to watch them all. I am really enjoying "Damages" on FX, and "Fringe" on FOX. Oh, speaking of which, the new FOX drama "Dollhouse" is great, too, and it's excellent paired with "Terminator" on Friday nights. I might build a page for "Dollhouse" if I ever get time.

If you like complex dramas that have great acting and writing, you should check out "Damages". It is fantastic.

I always watch "Heroes", but sometimes it is kind of annoying because they seem to contradict themselves a lot. You get the feeling that they really haven't thought everything through, or they don't mind things not making sense...it's a shame because the actors are good, and the show was so good first season.

Have a great week!

Wow, it's a been a rough year for everyone, especially with financial problems, lay offs, high gas prices, bad credit, etc. I hope everyone's new year 2009 is going to be much better!

Please help out our site by clicking on as much ads as you can at http://tvmegasite.net and as often as you can!

We have a lot of new proofreaders on our site! That is really great...we need all the help we can get! Sorry to sound so desperate. That has not changed since we started, really! :) We always need more volunteers, more money...it's a big site and we always to do a lot of things at once. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

I certainly could not do it alone, which is why more volunteers are needed. Gisele and Boo do a ton of work on the site - they really go above and beyond to get stuff done. We have many other volunteers who selflessly give their time so that our site can be great!! Thank you to all of them!!

I have been catching up on the daytime soaps from when I was gone over the holidays. Boo kindly recorded them all for me. It's amazing how fast it is to fall behind.

I am still enjoying One Life to Live quite a lot. The one where they played Carol of the Bells was awesome...most of the time I fast-forward through most soap opera musical montages. GH and AMC have been pretty depressing, so I hope they both get better. I so enjoyed Alexis' chat with Sonny....I always loved them together. I'm glad to see her back more, too. As The World Turns has been better. It's great to have Dusty back and I am liking all of the characters again. I love the stuff with Luke, Brian, Noah, and Lucinda...and I am so glad to have Craig back, especially since he is played by Jon Lindstrom, one of my favorite actors. I know a certain fan who is really glad to see him back, too.

I watched the past week or two of Y&R as well...I missed a lot of that one, but I have been keeping tabs on it. Bold & Beautiful, though, has been way too depressing, with Phoebe's death. I really chuckled to find out that the girl impersonating Donna is called Grace, since Jennifer Gareis played Grace on Y&R!

I'm glad Damages is back. It is a great show on FX if you haven't seen it. It just started its second season so make sure to watch it! It's a great suspense/thriller/drama with fabulous acting from Glenn Close and many others. I really miss Dexter, Mad Men, and True Blood, still (they all finished for the season). I'm looking forward to the return of Battlestar Galactica soon.

Even though Burn Notice doesn't return until the summer, I am already excited about that one. I might get to interview some of the actors, so that is very cool. I especially love Bruce Campbell, one of my favorite actors ever!!

I have been spending a lot of time on Facebook lately. I have added many actors as friends on there. Some of them are probably not the real actor, but someone pretending to be them. I do know that some of them are real, or at least the real actor is paying someone to do it for them, because they post regular photos, videos at home, information, etc. that a poser would not have. I will be getting some interviews soon, hopefully, with these people as well. Mostly it's just fun to see them post on Facebook, along with my real-life and internet friends, about what they are doing.

Don't forget to check out our "What's New" page to see what is put up new on our site!! We update it regularly. http://tvmegasite.net/whatsnew.shtml

I am looking into moving our site to a Content Management System. Right now we use Microsoft Frontpage. A CMS should be a lot easier. Everyone tells me Joomla is a good one, so that's my first stop. I am not all that knowledgeable about scripting etc. but I may have to learn some stuff.

Enter our monthly drawing, too! http://tvmegasite.net/contest.shtml

I just wanted to repeated this from my previous blog post:
So please, help me out, and go to the our site and click on as many ads as you can! DAILY!! That brings me in more money to help us make our site better.

I'm feeling a little bit better about the site's financial situation, though, thanks to my partner. We still have to have a phone discussion, though. Hopefully now that the holidays are over that will happen!

I just made a new Facebook group for our site at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=41009909550 Please join if you are on Facebook! Thanks!!

Don't forget to enter our contests! http://tvmegasite.net/contest.shtml We have a new one for the A&E show "The Beast" starring Patrick Swayze, and that one ends February 1st. Our other contest is monthly, so you can enter over and over each month! We have some great DVD's and other prizes.

Even though it's the holiday season, we are still updating our site every day! So please check it out!

Right now I am catching up on episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful. I enjoy the show, but sometimes it can be way too over-melodramatic and depressing. The writing is erratic. When it is good, it is very good. When it is bad, it is laughable. I guess that's better than being boring, though, like some shows.

I'm trying to clear off as many shows from my DVR as I can, especially now that there are no new primetime shows to record. I have a lot of soaps on there from the past month or so because of all the traveling and holiday stuff I've been doing.

I should get some tapes any day now so that I can catch up on all the soaps I missed while I was gone! I can't wait! I hate behind so behind on everything.

Have a great week!

Happy New Year to everyone!!

I have been active lately on Facebook, so I hope you can all check out my page. Many of our volunteers are also on there, and you can find them on my Friends list. I was going to list them here, but there are way too many! Come join us!

I hope everyone had a nice holiday during Christmas and Hannukah, whatever you celebrate (I'm not religious, but I was raised to celebrate Christmas, so I still do). We went out of town, so I'm still catching up on my soaps that went on while I was gone! Thankfully all the primetime shows have nothing but reruns while we were gone. My poor DVR couldn't handle it all otherwise! LOL!

Our site is still making money on ads, but I have been very bad about running up credit card bills on expenses here and there.... Let that be a lesson to you! I thought that my site/company's money was completely separate from mine, but apparently with credit cards you are personally responsible, not just your company. Yikes. So we'll see how it goes...fortunately I do have a financial partner (for now, knock on wood) that pays for the site's main expenses, so I can just pay off the credit card debt from the ads. However, I have a huge APR, so I need to find another credit card to transfer the balance to....

So please, help me out, and go to the our site and click on as many ads as you can! DAILY!! That brings me in more money to pay off the credit card!

Let's see, what else is new? We are still keeping our What's New page updated, so you can always see everything that is updated on our site.

I hope to find more time soon to post for more help because we really need it. I am also looking for a good Content Management System. Now, we paid a service to do this for us (and many other things), but so far they have not come through, so I am looking into trying to do things on my own. If you know of a good, simple, and/or cheap CMS, please let me know. I have been going through the web searching for some...but recommendations are always preferred!

Tonight I have been trying to catch up on our Smallville transcripts...those sort of fell to the wayside for the past few months. They are difficult to do for various reasons.

I have also been catching up on watching the soaps...we were out of town for a few weeks for the holidays. I really missed my DVR while I was gone! I planned to watch some DVD's but never got around to it. I was sick and didn't feel like it...kind of hard to explain but let's just say figuring out how to use the DVD player where I was, was more than my brain could figure out.

Instead I was catching up on seasons 4-6 of NCIS! I'm almost caught up now. Thank you, iTunes! Not my favorite show in the world, but one that is really enjoyable, and even better, it is not serialized so you can watch it any time, in any order. I don't know, I just love Mark Harmon! The rest of the cast is pretty great, too. No wonder it's ratings are soaring now. It's old reliable TV. I don't know why they don't give Belisario more to do. His Quantum Leap and Magnum PI were great shows! Sorry, I never watched JAG. It looked solid, though.

I am happy about Christmas - I got tons of TV DVD's, including Torchwood Season One, The Avengers (the Emma Peel Collection), Keen Eddie, and Boston Legal!

Over the holidays I did catch the final episodes of the season for "Dexter" and "True Blood". Both great shows! I could watch Dexter, every day, all day, that show just keeps getting better and I never get tired of it. True Blood can be a little hard to watch sometimes, with the blood, but it's always worth watching for its fabulous characters and writing. However, I'm a little bummed about the person they killed off in the last episode! He was my favorite. The show sure doesn't mind killing off its cast, though.

Every time the subject of TV comes up with people, I always tell them to watch Dexter!

I started off this column talking about Facebook. You can find your favorite shows on there and click on "become a fan" to tell everyone what your favorite shows are. It doesn't have all TV shows, but it has many. I was pleased that a friend of mine recently chose "Mad Men" since that's such a great show.

I was catching up on the soaps as well...my DVR is so full, it's not funny. My friend/colleague Boo recorded them for me while I was gone, so I have to wait for the tapes to really catch up. I got a few from Soapnet on the weekend, though. While I was waiting, I watched today's episode of Y&R. I haven't watched it in a long time (really behind) but it wasn't too hard to pick up, especially since I have been more or less following what has been going on because of reading SOD and net summaries. It was nice to see one of their holiday episodes.

I apologize to anyone who missed our soap scoops newsletters because I just didn't get to it over the holidays. First I was traveling, then I was sick, and yesterday I just plum forgot. I admit that I really hate doing them, so it's easy to put them out of my mind! LOL!! It's just very tedious and takes up a few hours. I will try to remember then next week, though...no more excuses!!

I just love this time of year. If you are still shopping for presents, please check out our Holiday Gift Guide! http://tvmegasite.net/prime/store/holiday.shtml
It's fun to look at, whether you plan to spend anything or not. I am still decorating my house...tomorrow I hope to put up the last of the outdoor lights! We were going to do it today, but it started raining.

I have received some nice holiday cards from my volunteers. Our site is full of nice and friendly people, and we try to make it so everyone enjoys working for our site (as much as you can enjoy work, especially that you don't get paid for!). So I send out birthday cards and holiday cards, gifts etc. Why not, it's fun and doesn't cost much. That's what credit cards are for! Hee hee...

We have so many great volunteers, and we are always looking for more. If you want to be a part of our little group, please let me know! You don't have to be a great writer or have a lot of time. Any help is great.

Now, on to TV. The big news this week is that NBC, which is apparently losing money faster than the other nets, is going to put Jay Leno on the air five nights a week next fall - during primetime! Wow, that so reeks of desperation. I don't know why they think this is a good idea. We'll see, I guess.

That must be why they are demolishing Days of Our Lives...they are getting rid of most of their higher-paid actors. Well, why not just cancel the show and save all that money now? Sheesh. Fans are not going to put up with that crap.

I don't know when the nets are going to figure out that the only way to make money now is for them to either act like cable, or go all on-demand. Think about it. If they made a deal with DISH or Comcast etc. they could make all of their shows "on demand" as well as putting them up on the web, and have commercials in both. Then they will make more money. Also, they could make their network more interactive by having viewers give their input and acting on it. Also, they could get more innovative shows. Heroes was a good start, and I'm very glad they have stuck with it. They need more great shows. They don't all have to be scifi, they just have to interesting and challenging. If not, then why bother? Just give up.

It is very sad to see what is happening to TV right now. There are lots of great shows, but no one watches them. It's like they watch the net instead. The net is way more boring than TV. Even youtube is not nearly as good, and the quality of the videos mostly sucks. TV is relatively cheap, just like going online.

Ah, well, I will leave it to other people who are smarter to figure it out.

I caught up on Dexter this week. That is such a great show. I wish it were on every week. See, if the nets would stop censoring everything, they could have great shows like Dexter. And it's not like Dexter would suffer if you censored the bad language, nudity, and violence. Those things are not important. It's the great writing and acting that makes Dexter superb. I am sorry to see Jimmy Smits leave the show, but it is good that Dexter won. For now. I can't wait until next week's episode, which may be the season finale.

Last week was my birthday, so I got some great DVD's, including Sliders season three and Fawlty Towers. Yay!! I look forward to getting more at Christmas.

Over the weekend, I caught up on the soaps as well. They are all entertaining, but I like the ABC soaps the best. OLTL is the best right now. I do have to say that Y&R is probably the second best soap, but I'm just really behind on that one! LOL! Sorry, CBS.

Well, back to work!

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!

Our site is doing well, and we have a lot of great volunteers. Every year it amazes me how many wonderful people contribute to our site! I enjoy this time of year because I get to send out cards and thank-yous to everyone. I just wish we had more volunteers. It's been really hard to get new ones. I think part of the reason is that the tV audience is just shrinking so much, especially for soaps. It may be the economy affecting us, too.

I didn't do much work this week because it was my birthday. I should start doing more work again soon! It's so easy to get lazy. I am way behind on screencaps, for instance.

I never did start writing Guiding Light updates like I planned...

I have been watching the soaps, catching up on this week's. The Thanksgiving episodes were fun to watch! They really didn't have one on AMC, unfortunately. I guess they forgot about the holiday. OLTL was good, very touching, yet still moving story. I loved seeing "Mel", and the stuff with Viki made me cry. GH had a "what if" episode that was cool. Seeing Alan alive was the best part.

I really enjoyed Heroes this week. It has been very strange, but good. I know some people don't like it. I liked the eclipse idea. I'm sorry to see "Elle" die, though. The only other objection is that I felt there was a little too much pointless violence.

I'm sorry to see no new Smallville or Supernatural this week. I don't think Smallville will be back for a while...the holidays are tough for us TV fans. Too many reruns.

I enjoyed last week's special "Monk" Christmas episodes...my only beef is that at the very end, I don't think Monk would ever consider drinking out of any public fountain. I mean, I'm not him, and I think it's gross. I would never do that. He would never EVER do that. Even if he did think it would cure all of his ills. But they get silly and sentimental at Christmastime...

I did get some nice TV DVD's for my birthday! I got "Fawlty Towers" and "Sliders" season three. Woo hoo!

Monday's shows were exciting...

Heroes was very strange. I'm not sure I understood everything that happened. I liked the effect of them losing all their powers, though. I assume Claire is really going to be ok. She better be!

Sarah Connor Chronicles was very good, but it's a shame they killed off Dorian Harewood. I really like him. As usual, very exciting show with twists and turns. The ending was a bit chilling.

CSI: Miami was good, nothing I can really say about that one. It is always about the same quality. It had a nice twist near the end.

Since I've been catching up on ATWT, I've got a bit of a backlog of some primetime shows from last week, as well as yesterday's ABC soaps. It's kind of nice in a way to have so much to look forward to!

I'm very happy that I'm all caught up on the daytime screencaps (the ones we put in the updates) except for Y&R. I am starting on those today. Juanita is doing Days and GH, and I know she's behind on them. Other than those, we have all of the daytime screencaps done going back to February.

I will probably start writing this week's Guiding Light updates, and possibly B&B as well. We'll see what I have time for. The holiday should give me a little time to catch up, but we're going out of town for two days...

I hope you are all healthy! I know we have had a few volunteers with flu and colds. I hope to have a healthy winter. I got my flu shot today!

I see they have rewritten things on AMC so that now Aidan is saying he was just playing along with Annie...okay, fine, good save on their part. I guess they were tired of getting complaints from people like me! :)

We watched Tuesday's House, and it was good as usual. My husband did not like the hostage-crisis story. He felt it was kind of boring. I like those type of shows, so it wasn't to me. I felt it was just as funny and bizarre as the usual House shows.
The actor who guest-starred, I forget his name, but he always does an outstanding job. He was on my favorite police show, "Homicide: Life on the Street" as a lawyer, and then later he was fabulous as a lawyer on "Damages". I think he may have won an Emmy for that, too. He always looks a little sickly anyway, but they really made him look much worse on "House".

I caught up on Bold & Beautiful last night. Poor Donna. I'm guessing that Thorne used two models who look like Owen and Donna to make out in her office, so that it looked like them to Eric. Eric does use glasses, and the camera is not close up. I hope they figure out what Thorne did before Eric divorices Donna. I love all the scenes between Donna and Stephanie, though, so I'll miss those when Eric kicks Donna out of the house. I really don't want Eric and Donna to split up. It makes no sense that he would choose Stephanie over her. Not many people in LA stay married, anyway, but Eric should be on his second or third trophy wife by now! Not married to some cold old fat girl like Stephanie. Just teasing, the actress is brilliant, but she doesn't make Stephanie all that appealing. I figure Thorne just really hates Donna and thinks that she is no good for Eric after what she did to Thorne. He thinks that Donna is just after Eric's money and that the only thing between them is sex. He thinks it's only a matter of time before Donna cheated on Eric, anyway, so he might as well hurry things along.

I'm going on a little trip. Not many TV shows to miss, anyway. I am having Boo, our primetime manager, tape shows for me tonight (Wednesday), and the rest is reruns this week.

Hope you are all staying warm! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Mary will be writing some of our AMC updates now, so Mandy will be taking over OLTL on Wednesday. Woo hoo! I just may have time to do Guiding Light. We'll see!

Now that Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly can be seen online, we can get our soap scoop summaries up on our site much sooner and not have to worry about when the post office will get around to delivering our magazines! Go to http://www.zinio.com/mylibrary?bd=0 and you can buy each of these for about $11 a year. It's pretty cool.

Don't forget to check out our new "What's New" page to see all the great new stuff on our site! http://tvmegasite.net/whatsnew.shtml We put up tons of new stuff every day!

Sunday nights we usually watch "Family Guy" and "American Dad", but instead they had the "24" special, "Redemption". I haven't watched it yet, though.
We have a 24 page at http://tvmegasite.net/prime/shows/24/

I also recorded "Cold Case" as usual. I don't know why, but I love that show now. I guess because they show different time periods. The actors are pretty good on the show, too.

All weekend I was catching up on doing tons of screencaps on the site for our soap updates. I fell behind a few months ago and so it's been hard, but I am finally almost done catching up. I just have Y&R left to do. I also feel behind watching. I have been watching tons of As The World Turns this weekend. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Okay, it has its moments...but mostly it's not all that exciting.

Right now One Life to Live is the only "can't miss" daytime show for me.

Stephen Colbert had a Christmas special on Comedy Central this weekend, too. My husband and I watched parts of it. It was pretty funny. I should be receiving some copies of it to give away on our site soon. It goes on sale on Wednesday, I believe. You can pre-order it or buy it from Amazon on our store page. http://tvmegasite.net/prime/store/tvdvds6.shtml

I'm still catching up on As The World Turns...almost done! Yay!! I'm on 11/10. I hope I don't dream about the characters :) I usually only dream about GH characters.

I got all caught up on making screencaps for all the soaps except Y&R, so that's a big weight off.

I guess TV will be pretty boring this week, what with the holidays and all....
