So I stumbled into something that makes my heart sad. I'm always sad when I hear of racial profiling, etc... In a world where we have so many technological advances, how can it be that we still don't understand the need for more love and less hate?!

Don't get me wrong, I know some of us have figured it out, but it seems like the ones who are in charge aren't pushing the "Unity" message more.

I grew up in a world filled with prejudice and anger and hatred to anyone not "white" ... I walked away from that attitude as soon as life permitted me to. (When you are really young you don't always know how to get away from it so you can only use it as a learning tool.) I don't understand how someone can look at another person, a beautiful creation of God/dess and think them any less than themselves...another creation of God/dess! !!! !!!

My skin may be white...but my heart is a RainBow and it Dances upon the Clouds of the Future...hoping we will get it right before we blow ourselves and everyone else off the planet!!! !!! !!!!!!!!!!!

To those of you who still feel persecuted, etc... (and you know in your heart if you are this type of personality) ... I hope you can find the light of love to guide you away from the darkness of anger and hatred. It's so important not to spread the hate message in this world. I can't say I know how it feels to be persecuted for "skin color" however... I do know how it feels to be put down for something you have no control over. I know that we have a lot in our lives that we must work with ... I know that if we don't get it right, things can't go well for ourselves and others.

I know your hearts are heavy and your minds are full of the sludge of others' hate but I beg that you move beyond that to the point where you see how your love can help heal others.

Sometimes we don't choose to be whomever we may be... sometimes we are cowed by the force of others, the forces guided by insecurity and fear. If they are afraid of you (and they are so obviously afraid) ... then you already have the power. You don't need to drive that home painfully, but rather can guide them to realization through loving means.

When everyone else is fighting, we all should be pulling together ... showing the rest of the world that we truly are free.

Not just free to say what we want to, etc.

Free to behave the way we OUGHT TO!!! Free to love everybody. Every Body. Every Body. EVERY Body!!!

I don't hate you because you can't speak my language, I hate that I haven't been able to learn yours.... YET.

I don't hate you because you have a disability, I hate that you have been confined to limitations that cause you to hurt.

I don't hate the color of your skin or the color of your heart unless the heart is full of the blackness of hatred... then I don't hate you, I try to love you...if that fails, I ask for Divine inspiration to assist me so I might not fail.

I don't hate you because you hate me, I find something in common with you and build a friendship upon that single thing... to blossom and flourish above and beyond the petty behaviors of ignorance.

Maybe some of them just need to be taught a better way without making them bleed in the process too.

A rather wise man told me often that 2 wrongs don't make a right. If our message is to be heard and implemented it must be heard gently and lovingly. That is the only tool we have that will EVER knock down these walls...

Death is a fact of Life...we see it almost every day, some people more than once a day. Since we can only be "faith full" of what's going to be beyond this realm, I thought the following message (received from my Mom (thanks mom!!!!) in e-mail was worthy to share w/all who stumble into my Lair. Each of us gives something good, something bad and something we'd like to take back ...here is your chance to do something good for the hearts and minds of those you love and care about:

'Tis the season for Dragonflies!  I love Dragonflies!  To me they are the keepers of the keys to Dreamtime.  Whenever I see them all aflitter about me I feel like there is magic on the wind currents.  So beautiful!  I just wanted to say hello to everyone and thank you all for the help in getting my place up and running!  The Tarot Group is doing well, a nice little place to sit down, make friends and get/do a reading without having to sacrifice your first-born (just kidding!!) in payment!  (The Feed for our group is available here to get you to the whole group.)

The rains have been pretty heavy in our area (Maryland) lately... the past few days have been mostly reprieve but I can help wanting to go running out like a little kid and splash in all of the puddles!!  Of course the adult in me is intelligent enough to fear lightning when standing in water heh.... sigh.  Ignorance is Bliss?  (At times I think it might be at that!)

My son turned 18 this year...part of the reason I haven't been online too much is because w/out him being home, I've been missin' him pretty bad!  Next year seems so far away but as age will attest, time has wings w/which to flit this way and that; keeping us grasping and gasping throughout life in wonderment.  I love Spring and early Summer...they're productive times for me in the "real" world....whereas the colder seasons find me here more.  However, with all of the rain, my plants are gasping for rafts to save them from the rivers at their roots. 

The full Moon looms over us stirring our passions and dreams... now is a good time to act!!  Just remember your umbrella if you live 'round here!! heh.

If we make them compete with their prices we can drive the prices down.  If we do nothing, before we know it we may not  be able to afford to drive at all.  My life is too busy to not be able to use transportation to get about!  By being the eyes of your community you can tell them the lowest prices you see...let them know who's so expensive we should all avoid them, etc.  They have free membership and a highly interactive site.

I'm not telling you about this site because I get anything for doing so, if that were the case I'd be doing it through the site itself...but I'm not (yet anyway)...I'm sending you all there because we ALL win when the companies start price wars and we go with the lowest bidders.  We may not get the prices back under a dollar per gallon ever again, but together we can keep them fighting to keep it low for us.  WE are the consumers, WE can set the trends if WE band together and tell the most expensive ones that WE won't buy their gas.

It's babysteps but it accumulates and before we know it, the prices will come down some.  I realize there are external forces making the prices go up, but for the  "GREED" portion of it, WE can refuse to bow to it!

Join the resistance!!!! I hear we are going to hit close to $4.00 a

gallon by next summer and it might go higher!! Want gasoline

prices to come down?
We need to take some intelligent, united action.

This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas

on a certain day" campaign that was going around last April or

May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they

knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt" ourselves by refusing to

buy gas. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was
a problem for them.
 
BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan

that can really work. Please read on and join with us! By now

you're probably thinking gasoline priced at about $1.50 is super

cheap.  Me too! It is currently $2.79 for regular unleaded in my

town. Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations

have conditioned us to think that the cost of a gallon of gas is

CHEAP at $1.50 - $1.75, we need to take aggressive action to

teach them that BUYERS control the marketplace..... not

sellers. With the price of gasoline going up more each day, we

consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to
see the price of gas come down is if we hit someone in the

pocketbook by not purchasing their gas! And, we can do that

WITHOUT hurting ourselves.

How? Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying

gas. But we CAN have an impact on gas prices if we all act

together to force a price war.
 
Here's the idea:
 
For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY gasoline

from the two biggest companies (which now are one), EXXON

and MOBIL. If they are not selling any gas, they will be

inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the

other companies will have to follow suit.
 
But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of

Exxon and Mobil gas buyers.  It's really simple to do! Now,

don't wimp out at this point.... keep reading and I'll explain how

simple it is to reach millions of people.
 
I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us sends it to at

least ten more (30 x 10 =3D 300) ... and those 300 send it to at

least ten more (300 x 10 =3D 3,000)...and so on, by the time the

message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached

over THREE MILLION consumers.

If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends

each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes

one level further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED

MILLION PEOPLE!!!
 
Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all. (If

you don't understand how we can reach 300 million and all you

have to do is send this to 10 people...don't worry the originator

of this message is a mathmatician.)
 
How long would all that take? If each of us sends this e-mail

out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300

MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the

next 8 days!!!

I'm trying to enhance my "Lair" with a wonderful little group called "Tarot-Readings" for those who enjoy the tarot and recognize it as a tool for enhancement in their lives.  The "hotline psychic experience" is not what I'm after.  I'd prefer a group of people wanting to know one another, wanting to learn together.  It's for people who believe in Tarot, who are hoping to meet others who do as well.  It's not strictly for Tarot, but divination minded for now.  I'm also interested in what it might become as others join us at the table.  (By 'us' I mean myself and others of like minds.
