Oh my, it's farny how I typed that and then thought, "Well, actually - a heap has happenned ..."

Went to a fantastic 1976 party on Friday night - RRR (www.rrr.org.au) had its 30th B'day party.

So good!  My toes are still sore! Mel and I looked SOOOOOO good - photos will be coming soon.  Mel almost won the costume comp but she was up against Wonder Woman - I mean who can beat Wonder Woman? And especially when Wonder Woman really looked the part - perfect actually!  Such a good night with so many like-minded people.

UM .... what else?

My loo is FIXED! FINALLY! Almost took a year! So good .... now I can get the Little Man back learning the Litter Kwitter.

What else? Work got me a laptop and a very cool set up :) LOVE it!

Motorola V3  SUX EGGS BIG TIME!   HATE it with a passion! Well, not really - but it doesn't work properly!

Craig and I are happy campers.

MEREDITH is on soon!  Mel and I have hired ourselves one of those towable camper trailers! SOOO GOOD! We will NOT be caught out! I even bought cool Crocs Gumboots! :) :) :)

I have an Ankh.

I wear these symbols / amulets because they mean something to me.  Something important.  Something I don't mind sharing with those who are willing to open their eyes, ears or minds to the "esoteric" aspects of life.

Mine are sterling silver, coated with 9ct gold and this gold is wearing off.. ...

I took them to a jeweller I have used before to make a ring...

After weighing and calculating what it would cost to make into gold, he THREW them at me onto the counter.  Couldn't even HAND them to me. and proceeded to quote me, "about $390.00"

My lovely (to me) things feel defiled - I need to cleanse them - they were treated with such hatred and disrespect I feel guilty for allowing it .. I know that sounds so stupid.. BUT ....

I gave him the choice of handling them.. I PUT them onto the counter ..... didn't just DROP them into his hand.

*sigh*

I know society will always have idiots but I didn't expect something so little to end up effecting me so much.

On other fronts .... things are looking better ... in general:

My car needs WORK The Snow Subie isn't so perfect right now.... he needs NEW SHOES - AGAIN  and

There's a huntsman in my house.  Her name is Henrietta.  She doesn't know this.  I do not want to squash her. I tried to catch her in a glass but her leggies are too long.  Then I tried to catch her in a chinese take away container, but the shallow depth of the container meant that I got too close to her.  She moves soooo fast.  Makes me squeal and dance around like a scared human.  And I _KNOW_ that there's nothing she can hurt me with. OOOO but still! 

Doops had his yearly injections - he's not 100%.

It's all painted bar the woodwork, kitchen ceiling and bathroom/toilet.

My little man is with me.  He's not allowed outside. It's really sad I think - but I have no choice. He is learning to go to the loo on the toilet!  How smart is he?? Only 2 accidents so far and that's pretty good :)

I chopped my hair off on Mon the 2nd :)  Now it's short and shaggy somedays and trying to be refined others.  Basically it's gone CRAZY. Oh well. See the Anna-Bot pic.  Glowing eyeballs too! (I must have tried somethin gon Zoe cos her look is like, "Yes, Anna! Whatever you say!".  We were on the Ghost Walk/Tour outside the site of the Queen Street Massacre from 1987.  Now it's The Medina Hotel. The whole of Circe de Solei checked out after they went onthe Tour and heard what went on there in 1987 when it was Australia Post. They were staying on the same floor .. .. .. (Went on the Ghost Walk through Melbourne a couple of weekends ago now. Was great! The history of the city that isn't common knowledge - as in you're just not taught local history etc etc. absolutely fascinating. It's run through The Haunted Bookshop on McKillop Lane.)

And, um, oh, the heat is stifling - well it was on Sat/Sun and will be again this coming Thurs/Fri.

My heart and thoughts go out to the CFA, DSE and MFB along with all the support agencies battling the fires as well as the families of the people who perished or lost stock/farms/houses.

And yeah.... and yeah :)

He got a big squish last night when I went to feed them.

Recently single - the ex, Jon, has both cats right now - I'll get Doops after this weekend.

Jon's currently away at Mederith Music Festival (wish I were there! SO GOOD!) and I'm feeding Tilda Tils (black beauty) and Doops ...

My furniture gets moved this Saturday. YAY!

No more camp table!  No more camp charis, no more banana lounge as a couch :)

Apparently he is in need of hair therapy!

That's the OLD _NEW_ flat:) He was painted this weekend.  Now he is Bassinet - not sand coloured.  He is veryvery clean looking now.  He still wears pink though.  Soon he gets furniture!! yayayayyaya!!! 

And soon he gets my little man, Doops! OO i can't wait to have my cat with me.
