Too Cold For This Outfit

Well it has been awhile since I have stayed home and did nothing but be dressed up so here it goes. It's cold and windy and fortunate enough for me there is no snow in my neighbourhood. Some areas have it but what can I say but good karma! I was in the mood for a nice dressy gown tonight that I decided to wear for awhile and for a change. It isn't normally me but I figured why not. It isn't the greatest of pics but I do like to keep you all posted on what I have been upto. This weekend...nothing! It's great house cleaning and redecorating my room a bit. Can't spend money every weekend and besides Christmas and New Year's is right around the corner. Also to my neighbours in the south I would like to take this time to wish you all a Happy Thansgiving this week!

Halloween 2008

Well Halloween has come and gone for yet another year. It is my favorite holiday of all of them cause it is so much fun. The ghosts, ghouls, and lots of horror movies...what's not to like! As I ventured out with some friends and stopped by local establishments in Toronto and enmjoyed another successful street party all I can say now is "Can't wait for next year's lol" This was my costume for the evening a viking girl looked kinda neat and well here is a pic as you can see. I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and didn't eat too much candy. Now I see Christmas season is already taking effect in some stores. It never ends! Till next time.

One Casual Night

It's been a couple weeks since I have last blogged so here it goes... One night this weekend I was over at a friend's place and we wanted to go out but no major clubbing or anything. We ended up at a neighbourhood kelsey's for a drink and some chat. Nice place and made for a great night. We weren't there all night but stayed a good couple hours. Of course it rained as it has been all year and somehow over the course of the last month or so I seem to have misplaced my umbrella. I guess I may need a new one soon or maybe by the time I get one there will be snow on the ground lol. Well this upcoming week is Halloween which btw is one of my favorite holidays. I will spend the beginning of this week looking for a costume of some sort. Lots of selection there, wish me luck. Well I hope everyone has a wondeful Halloween and hope to blog shortly after with my adventures. Talk soon :)

Weekday Hanging Out

On Wednesday of this week I didn't do much of anything except go to work come home and watch some television and such. I did manage to take this pic of a night just at home. I was bored and well also testing my camera as I have had problems with it. I am too lazy and stubborn to read the maual yet so I decided to play with it. As for this weekend I will be off to a house party and hope to have a great time. will keep things posted. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Thanksgiving - Canada 2008

The first of the autumn and winter holidays is upon us which means the first of many family gatherings and get togethers. My family is not one for this particular holiday so it's not a big deal for me. The weather is not exactly meant to be wearing nice warm sweaters and roasting oversized birds. It's more of a sunny outdoor type holiday. I do appreciate the long weekend and that is my only bonus. But it is a reminder that more holidays are coming up and I should start planning for them. THe next big one is one of my all time favorites halloween at the end of the month and I am still working on a costume for that one. I guess with my time off I will look around and see what I come up with. Hope everyone enjoys their turkey and their special holiday!

Bored and Lonely

Ok not always, but sometimes it is that way. In order to transition you have to adapt to being a bit of a loner. Well this is one of those weekends where it was that way. Some people have a paranoia of not having anyone and lack self independance. You need that independance to grow as a person and be strong. I have had a little depression at times but I break out of it. There is always some good times to come! This was obviously a stay home weekend and I didn't do any shopping but did manage to piece this little outfit together. I guess it's back to darker colors now. I am not the only thing transitioning also the weather. So hope everyone bought their turkeys cause it's Thanksgiving next week!

Party, Party, Party

Well getting out into the city is something I love to do. It gets a little costly between cover charges parking ,drinks, etc. Wish I could do this every weekend but I can't. Although I did have another night in the city of Toronto this one was by no means disappointing. Had a wonderful time met up with friends and danced the night away. As for today I will be home recooperating and getting some much needed laundry done. It will be jammies all day for me. Let's see what next weekend will bring.

Soul Searching

Hello, This is actually a pic from the previous weekend as I was mentally busy all this weekend. I put all my thoughts together and tried to make an understanding of my life, I failed. Everything takes work, time, and money. It's amazing how much the little things in life can cost and add up over time. This isn't stopping me by any means just slows down the process. But hey thats how life works. Still doing some major self searching but I am not losing any sleep over it. Take care all!

Yes it's a late weekend blog but I managed to put one up. I spent a lot of time driving around this weekend not like I wanted to waste gas at the highest price it has ever been but that's the way things turned out. I was out of town visiting a friend over the past weekend and it rained continously so it was mostly an indoor trip but thats ok I got caught up with an old friend. I originally thought it was supposeto rain lots in the spring but it seems it has all summer and now fall oh well. Time to shop around for a really cute umbrella soon. Maybe a couple to match different outfits lol.

Well not for me but some lol. So it's Labor Day and the new fall fashion line is on the market. That is the first sign of autumn. Summer was full of rain and good times and I have had a wonderful summer. It was worth it. As for now I can take care of my priorities back off on the dieting a little bit and worry about next season's tv lineup. As for next week I doubt I will have any time to blog but will try as I have a lot of appointments and such. I just hope everyone has had an eventful summer as I have.
