I liked to have my nails long and decorated with color stones and lame. But somehow I felt like having short nails with natural light pink color last week and my nails are very short now.

I liked dyeing my hair brown but somehow I feel like getting a darker color now.

What do you think?

On 29th Sep, my niece has been born. Therefore we went to the hospital to see her. She has only 2.5kg and looked very small compared with Linkun, my nephew and her older brother. Linkun was born 11 months ago and now he has more than 10kg. How fast babies' growth is!

Linkun found something next to him.

I saw a biiiiiig question mark over his head.

He had never seen something smaller than him, so probably he didn't recognise that she was a human being. He seemed he wasn't interested in her at all.

So, my brother is a father of two babies now.

School, Ballet, Work, and....

The long summer holidays had ended and I’ve started going to school again. I got a school report last week and my GPA for the former semester was 4.8 out of 5. This is pretty good score, but I’m not very satisfied with it.

Now I go to school once a week only, because I’m in my last year in university and I’ve got almost all the credits which I’m supposed to earn already. I’m gonna take three classes in this semester. I have to hand in my graduation paper in this December, so I’m a bit busy with it. Oh, and now I have to prepare many things for the school festival (the festival is in November). Like the last year, we will have a “discussion café”, so we have to think what we will discuss, how we decorate the classroom, and prepare papers and display them and so on.

The rest of the times, I’m doing ballet, and part time job as usual. I’m gonna take part in a performance in November, so I’m hurting my toes for that rehearsals. Although It is no problem because I like doing ballet. Don’t worry.
Moreover, I have to think about my wedding ceremony. This is very hard work and sometimes I don’t wanna even think about it.

I will be busy with all these above until January. And from February, I should go to kimono school and learn how to wear it by myself because I’m moving to Europe next year. Also, I should go to Japanese language school and learn more about teaching it. Oh, and I wanna study English more if I have time for that. I’d been not writing English like this for a long time. I used to write a lot in school and on my blog pages as some of you know, but these days I just don’t have that opportunities and energy…maybe I should go to language school again, because I have no native English speaking friends in Japan. I used to have some, but they all left Japan now. I need more inspiration.

It is getting cooler these days. We still have about 28deg, but I don’t hear cicadas crying anymore. And I’ve been thinking when I should start wearing boots. Another update is, about my brother’s wife. She is having a baby now and she will be born in about two weeks. Her name will be Aoi. It is very cute name. I like that.

Botanical Garden and Shitamachi

I went to Botanical Garden with my dad, Rodica, and Adrian the other day. It wasn't so far from my place by car. The garden was good, but I enjoyed more outside of the park.

We left the park, and started walking around there. There were some small temples, and we visited each of them. Then, we arrived a place like early Syowa era town. It seemed like this is a place where people live normally and not a tourist attraction, or stage set. To me, the place looked like a town in Totoro or something like that and somehow I felt comfortable being there...

Disney Sea

Rodica, Adrian and I went to Disney Sea on 8. I wore Yukata maybe for the first time in 2 or 3 years!

Day 3 ~Kyoto trip~

On the 3rd day, we visited three places. First Hieizan, Kiyomizudera for the next, and Kinkakuji in the end.

We had a tea ceremony here.

Day 2 (Aug 6th)

On 6th Aug, we visited Sanjyusangendo first. Most of the Shrines and temples close very early (at 17:00), so, in order to visit as many places as possible, we had to wake up very early... Sanjyusangendo is one of my favorite places in Kyoto. In this temple, there are 1001 statues of the Buddhist deity. This temple was established by the powerful warrior-politician Taira no Kiyomori in 1164.

Then, we visited Byodoin. This is my mother's favorite place.

Byodoin temple was established by Kampaku Fujiwara Yorimichi in 1052. My mother says I've visited this place before, but I didn't remember that. Well, I liked this place.

In the afternoon, we visited Todaiji, Nara. Todaiji temple was built in the Nara period (710-794 AD) and this temple has a huge statue of Buddha (daibutu).

Around the Todaiji temple, there are many wild deers just like Miyajima.

So, what am I doing here? Well, this is one of the columns of the Todaiji temple. This column has a hole, and the size of this hole is the size that huge Buddha's nostril :D Now you know how huge this Buddha is!

But Adrian couldn't pass through. Yeah, it is usually only kids who try to do this.

6th Aug is our anniversary day. We've met 2 years ago, today. So we celebrated the day at the restaurant of the hotel.

Kyoto ~ Day 1 ~

From 5th to 7th Aug, I visited Kyoto with my family except my brothers. We used shinkansen to get to Kyoto, and then we rented a car at Toyota. We visited Ryoanji Temple at first.

Then we visited Tenryu-ji Temple.(World Cultual Heritage Site)

Tenryu-ji means "temple of the hevenly dragon", and it was established in 1339 by the shogun Ashikaga Takauji.

We had a dinner at one of my favorite Japanese restaurants, Umenohana.

I was very surprised to hear that there is no cicadas in Romania.

In Japan, anywhere you go you cannot escape from the noise of cicadas in summer. When we were walking, Rodica asked me what kind of birds were making that noise. Well, I don't like them, so it was good to hear that there is no cicadas in Romania!
