I don't know, but I think I'm going to go crazy with my allergies/stuffy nose. I wake up in the middle of the night with a stuffy/runny nose.

I've been taking traditional Korean medicine, but it either doesn't work enough or takes too long to work.

So after 3 weeks, I finally visited an ENT. I guess what I need now is some rest and citron.

I know I haven't been a good friend to all my friends on Yahoo 360 and Multiply.

I stopped using Multiply because the number of E-mails Iwould get in my E-mail inbox everyday was almost unmanageable. I guess I don't know how to use the settings properly. Also, Yahoo 360 has been acting so strange. I have tried making posts in the past only to have them disappear when I hit enter.

In closing, things are ok and I will do my best to to get back to you all in due time.

Ramadan begins on September 1st as well as a new semester at my university.

I have neglected all of you for a long time and for that I am sorry. God willing, I will start catching up with all of you during the next week.

Ramadan is a good time for Muslims to reflect on their lives. I hope we all can become a little kinder to each other and help those who are less fortunate.

May Allah guide us.

First of all, let me say sorry to all of you for my absence from Yahoo 360. It has been a long time.

To be honest, I tried making several entries on my 360 blog, but when I checked they were gone ! What gives? Sometimes I wonder if Muslims on yahoo 360 are having their blogs censored or monitored?

It is so hot here in Busan Korea. For those of you who know me, you will know how much I dislike summer in Korea. I suppose I should look upon summer as a blessing in disguise. I'm sure we can all use a little patiences at the best of times.

My new job at Pusan National University is going well, but the paper work sometimes seems endless. I can't complain though. I usually get to attend Jumaa prayers and meet many Muslims. Alhamdulliah!

However, I have a heavy heart these days. My mother is homeless in Santa Monica, California. I have sent her money several times through Western Union. However, it isn't easy because I have my own family in Busan to care for too.

My mother is trying to gt back to St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. However, I think he has some problem with her ticket.

If any of you read this and can see it in your hearts to help me out, then please send me an E-mail. It would certainly be appreciated.

It has been a long time since I posted. I am really sorry to all of you.

I have been plagued with allergies the past month and am in the midst of calculating final grades for my university students.

(I changed jobs on March 1st. I know teach at Pusan National University in Pusan. I have more freedom at my new job, but I usually commute 1 hour to and from school every day. So when i get home, I am usually worn out.)

To top things, two weeks ago we moved into a small condominium. Even though we paid professional movers, it was still a hectic move. I only succeeded in finishing setting up my study room yesterday. But, Alhamdulliah. Allah has been good to me.

Greetings of peace and love to my friends. Assalaamu Alaykum to my Muslim brothers and sisters.

I am a Muslim, but I was born a Newfoundlander and always will be.

I miss my parents, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

I miss Signal Hill, Bowring Park, Middle Pond, picking blueberries and having Tim Horton's coffee with my father.

I wonder when will I be able to visit St. John's again? When will my family and friends get to see my son for the first time?

So, when I listen to this song, it brings a tear to my eye for a short time. But, it is only a short time because I know that this life is temporary. I hope we all can know the One and Only True God without partners and Muhammad, His Messenger. It is only when we acknowledge the One and Only True God and His Messenger Muhamad, that we can truly begin to live in life.

It has been a long time since my last entry.

Let me give you all some information about how things are going for me.

Alhamdulliah! I have been a Muslim for over a year now! ( I became a Muslim on March 27th, 2007)

I always give thanks to Allah (swt) for leading me to the Truth and for providing with such kind and patient brothers.

I still struggle with certain aspects of my personality, but my faith is secure and growing day by day. Though if I sin, through the Grace and Mercy of Allah, I confess my sin, pray and bring my duas before my Lord.

I do my best to pray five times a day, though I need to learn more Surahs and start studing Arabic.

Regarding my job, I really enjoy teaching at a university, though it is taking some getting used to regarding time and classroom management. Though, praise be to Allah, I can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Today, a few brothers and I prayed Al-Zohr and Al-Asr together in a room the university lent out to Muslim students on campus. Alhamdulliah! We now have a Masjid.

Anyway, in closing, I just want to show you the following video on Islamic unity.

When someone asks you "What are you?" just respond by saying "I'm a Muslim."

"The Supreme Court acquitted a man of charges that he sexually harassed a young woman by taking a picture of her legs on the subway last December. "

"The top court supported an acquittal by a lower court which said, ``It is hard to say that the defendant took a picture of a part of another person’s body that can cause sexual desire or shame.’’

Only in Korea can a judge get away which such a screwed up ruling. Duh! Is it possible to take pictures of a woman's body parts and call it art? How perverted is society? I should say 'how perverted are Korean judges?' The judge who made the ruling probably has a stack of porno magazines hidden in his office or has secret folders on his HD filled with XXX pictures.

I tell you, the person who takes pictures of my wife's or daughter's legs is going to get a baseball bat on his legs.

Just imagine biting into a rodent's head when you are eating some of your favorite chips.

I've heard of some pretty strange items accidently discovered in food, but this one takes the cake.

Shrimp chips are very popular in Korea. However, I wonder if that will be the case anymore?

I know one thing is for sure, I will never allow my children to eat them anymore.

My first week has past at Pusan national University. Alhamdulliah! The week went well.

Because a few days are busy for me (Wednesdays and Thursdays), I will sometimes pray Al-Zohr and Al-Asr in my classroom.

Since it was the first lesson, I discussed my syllabus and facilitated class introductions with my students. During my personal introduction, i told my students that I was a Muslim. The response was respectful. Alhamdulliah!

So, I say to you my brothers and sisters- the whole earth is a prayer carpet.
