.30 SpringField US Carbine, shot using Nokia N-73. I was trying to provide some basic protection against the elements, as the monsoon is approaching and the care-taking abilities of Police in India are well known.
Shall get it released from the Police Station soon and submit to a better option, a gun-house that shall charge a rent, however, the maintenance shall be satisfactory…
Small Training session on Hammer Handling and Colt .32 Detective Special Firing…
Same cleaning session using Nokia 6275… The difference in video quality, embarrassing…
Long Video… And my dear dumb-o CameraMan kept the camera-phone at the wrong-ish orientation… He’s a novice when it comes to Phone Cameras. His thing is the regular Digital Cameras.
Also, the difference in the quality of output of the two phones is mind-blowing… To me, at least. But then you get what you pay for.
More on the Rifle, soon.
We woke up early. Had the bath to get ready for the Holy Holi Prayers. And after the prayers, started to ponder upon “what to do now !!!”
She, the James Bond amongst us, struck with the idea to spend the entire day
watching movies. That way we shall be able to save the car from the hoodlums and their colours and also have a gala time. The first one we watched was the AMAZINGLY tight, Mithya. So tight was the suspense that it was unsurpassed! We were the only souls watching that one! 2 people in the hall with a capacity of 300.
We returned home to eat something and ended up finishing an bottle of wine. Then went to Slice Of Italy and had our fill of very tasty Pizzas. So tasty were the Pizzas that Aunty, who hates junk food, fell in instant love with Pizza and that too the Slice of Italy kind! Since then, she has called me twice to ask the name of THAT Pizza Joint to order!
Then was time for the Second movie of the day. That was Taare Zameen Par. So sentimental was the first half of the movie that I kept on crying. I could not go to get some PopCorn and Pepsi, complimentary, on the house, for my swollen eyes. :-P Did that after interval when Amir Khan, song started…
--- It's 8 AM. Feeling to Sleepy... Going home now... Shall edit and enhance this one soon... Will write a long one about Aunty. It's Time!---
This one goes to my most dear best-est friends who, presently, are going out of their way to placate and appease me, on these very frustrating and saddening days.
Like a nursery kid being pushed to the much hated school, his lips pouted pathetically sadly, and he being bathed and dressed forcibly, I push myself with a lot of cajoling by Manik, almost every day to come to the office that I USED to LOVE.
This ONE job, for the first time in my life of many odd-jobs, has gotten the good of me. Or is it something else that is the reason that I am unable to put s finger on and am blaming the well paying job.
I can write on and on about my present and disturbing state of mind, however, this one post is for MY FRIENDS, my reasons for my long lasting survival.
So, my friends, YOU, and you guys know who all you are, make me feel Blessed…In spite of all that is there to make it otherwise, and you know what all, THANKS a TONNE…
Manik, Vikrant & Veenu, Aunty, Ashu, Ashar, Himanshu, Sheetal, Anshuman, Shine, Nitin… Thanks a Tonne, to you all…Thanks for putting up with me and my tantrums and at times, outright rude behaviour.
In order to get chickens you have to HATCH the eggs and not break them.
However, to make an OMLETTE, you need to break the eggs …
Also, Eggs once Broken and Words once squeaken cannot be done anything about.
I am so thoroughly confused if I already did the right thing to have the omlette Right-AWAY, or the-wrong to have lost the Chick!!! And that too ONLY because of my haste.
I shall know soon. Please pray for me and my
-ish sanity!
Ra.
