Let's discuss angels and anything else in the Bible, spiritually and scientifically.

Battle Hymn

In case anyone is in doubt....I love God and my country. This is the most stirring rendition of the Battle Hymn of the Republic since I heard the Mormon Tabernacle choir sing it live in Houston, when I was a little girl.

The following definitions come from the Strong's Concordance for Hebrew [H] and Greek[G] words used in the Bible.

H1993 (also H1995)
A primitive root (compare H1949); to make a loud sound (like English “hum”); by implication to be in great commotion or tumult, to rage, war, moan, clamor: - clamorous, concourse, cry aloud, be disquieted, loud, mourn, be moved, make a noise, rage, roar, sound, be troubled, make in tumult, tumultuous, be in an uproar.

H2199
A primitive root; to shriek (from anguish or danger); by analogy (as a herald) to announce or convene publicly: - assemble, call (together), (make a) cry (out), come with such a company, gather (together), cause to be proclaimed.

H6817
A primitive root; to shriek; (by implication) to proclaim (an assembly): - X at all, call together, cry (out), gather (selves) (together).

H6873
A primitive root; to be clear (in tone, that is, shrill), that is, to whoop: - cry, roar.

H6963
From an unused root meaning to call aloud; a voice or sound: - + aloud, bleating, crackling, cry (+ out), fame, lightness, lowing, noise, + hold peace, [pro-] claim, proclamation, + sing, sound, + spark, thunder (-ing), voice, + yell.

H7121
A primitive root (rather identical with H7122 through the idea of accosting a person met) to call out to (that is, properly address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications) bewray [self], that are bidden, call (for, forth, self, upon), cry (unto), (be) famous, guest, invite, mention, (give) name, preach, (make) proclaim (-ation), pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say.

H7588
From H7582; uproar (as of rushing); by implication destruction: - horrible, noise, pomp, rushing, tumult ( -uous).

H7768
A primitive root; properly to be free; but used only causatively and reflexively to halloo (for help, that is, freedom from some trouble): - cry (aloud, out), shout.

G994
Apparently a prolonged form of a primary verb; to halloo, that is, shout (for help or in a tumultuous way): - cry.

G2896
A primary verb; properly to “croak” (as a raven) or scream, that is, (generally) to call aloud (shriek, exclaim, intreat): - cry (out).

G4500
Adverb from a derivative of rhoizos (a whir); whizzingly, that is, with a crash: - with a great noise.

G5353
From G5350; utterance, that is, a musical note (vocal or instrumental): - sound.

G5456
Probably akin to G5316 through the idea of disclosure; a tone
(articulate, bestial or artificial); by implication an address (for any purpose),
saying or language: - noise, sound, voice.

There are numerous scriptures in the Bible that deal with the voice of all creation (including man) that dwell on the Earth. I present some of the verses that I found which describe the sound that emanates from the Earth at this time in which we live. I leave you to draw your own conclusions about what you read.

These radio waves were discovered emanating from the same areas where the aurora borealis occurs in the northern latitudes. You may also want to research "the North" in the scriptures. There is much to be said about that subject also.

Gen 4:10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice[6963] of thy

brother's blood crieth[6817] unto me from the ground.

Isa 26:17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time

of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out[2199] in her pangs...

Jer 25:31 A noise[7588] shall come even to the ends of the earth;

for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations...

Zep 1:14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth

greatly, even the voice[6963] of the dayof the LORD: the mighty man

shall cry[6873] there bitterly.

Jam 5:4 Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your

fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth[2896]: and the cries[994]

of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of

Sabaoth.

1Co 14:7 And even things without life giving sound[5456], whether pipe or

harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds[5353], how shall it be

known what is piped or harped?

Psa 74:23 Forget not the voice[6963] of thine enemies: the tumult of those

that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

Psa 93:3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up

their voice[6963]...

Ecc 10:20...for a bird of the air shall carry the voice[6963] and that which

hath wings shall tell the matter.

Jer 3:21 A voice[6963] was heard upon the high places, weeping and

supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way,

and they have forgotten the LORD their God.

Jer 16:9 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;

Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your

days, the voice[6963] of mirth, and the voice[6963] of gladness, the

voice[6963] of the bridegroom, and the voice[6963] of the bride.

Jon 2:2 And said, I cried[7121] by reason of mine affliction unto the

LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried[7768] I, and thou

heardest my voice[6963].

Zec 11:3 There is a voice[6963] of the howling of the shepherds; for their

glory is spoiled: a voice[6963] of the roaring of young lions; for the pride

of Jordan is spoiled.

Isa 31:4 "...he will not be afraid of their voice[6963] nor abase himself for the

noise[1995] of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight

for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;

in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise[4500] and

the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works

that are therein shall be burned up.

Help Me Heavenly Father

If you are rading this, please pray with me. I need for the LORD to show me what course to take.

I can see no way out of the situation confronting me.

Dear Heavenly Father, open my eyes and ears to the doors that You open for me. Give me courage and strength to pass through this difficult time, and see your glorious provision on the other side. Keep my heart soft and forgiving. Make everything intended for bad work out for good, according to Your will. Keep my spirit focused on Jesus Yeshua and be gracious unto me because I put my trust in Him.

Your Child,

Sandra

Entry for June 24, 2008

It's not often that I do this, but I want to recommend a website. It belongs to Lambert Dolphin, physicist. He and his friends are both Christians and scientists. Their credentials are impressive. The articles are explained so that we lay persons can easily understand how science is expressed in the Bible and shows no contradiction. I suggest that you visit his library page to browse through the topics that interest you most. You may also get to his website by clicking here or on the link below.

Hosanna Hosanna Hosanna

In the time while I am sleeping
