Yeay !! Today, we are back home with our yet another bundle of joy. Mayank was born on February 06th, 2009 at 10:08 PM at Mercy Gilbert Birth Center just couple of miles away from our home. Neha awaited arrival of Mayank very patiently at home.

I have started going to gym as of Jan 08 of this year. It was already on the plan. However, the move was accelerated by the fact that I joined the vanpool (09 Jan) for commuting to the work. Now, I am at work from 6:40 AM to 3:50 PM. This gives me little more than one hour for lunch and workout. Thus, I am able to utilize two of the company provided facilities - Vanpool and Fitness Center.

As planned, my parents left for India on Sunday (Jan 6th). It was a sad moments with tears (most from my mom). I went with them up to LAX.
It was a 3 month stay. During their stay, we enjoyed and experienced lots of things. Most exciting was our road trip through which we vacationed three tourist locations - Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. It was a 2 week long trip with Thanksgivings at relative's home in SF.
Also, we had taken a weekend trip to Grand Canyon prior to above road trip. In addition, we enjoyed local attractions such as Rawhide, Tempe Town Lake, Zoo, etc. They loved the nearby Freestone Park which was their destination every evening for the walk.
My parents helped us in putting up the christmas lights and prepared lots of special Indian goodies that we don't get to enjoy being away from India. I am already starting to miss them and waiting for their next arrival.

After a long wait, my parents arrived at our home in Gilbert, AZ on October 06th 2007. Everything went as planned. I had travelled to LAX to receive them. Then we all flew to PHX the same day. All of us are very happy these days. Neha mingles with them well and it appears she remembers them from her Agra visit last year. So far one week has gone and they are past their jet lag. We have been to Tempe Beach Park, Little India, Priya, Temple and some stores such as Sprouts, FRYS, Ranch 99, etc. They like the systematic traffic, nice and clean stores, couteous customer service and public facilities.

We have been thinking to have our family potraits taken for long time. However, it took almost 2 years for us to get this going. On labor day (Sep 03), we went to Sears and made an appointment for the same day. Sears did a nice job and wonderful potraits were at our home on Sep 20th.
