You know you live in a small town when...
Anyways, I was walking to work last night when some guys in a little blue hatchback, came driving up behind me with their car radio playing at top volume. It wasn't 50 cent, it wasn't Lil' Kim, it wasn't even dance music. They were playing Instrumental Jazz.
In the 20 min walk to work the passed me again, I didn't even have to look at the car the second time, I KNEW it was them. Rogers & Hammerstine's Bali Hai from the musical South Pacific. At top volume.
That's how "ghetto" it is up in this business!

Here's what's left of my long hair. It's just about a year now since I cut my hair short after growing it out for 7 years.
It was sept 6th last year when my life changed forever. I can't believe it's been a year already since I was first diagnosed with leukemia. So I bought myself a little bottle of Moet champagne. It was yummy.
I've been dieting lately too. I've lost ten pounds, but I've got a ways to go still. I've been eating lots of fish, steamed veggies, eggs. I also have been buying Bison burgers, the meat is supposed to be leaner than chicken and fish, it tastes good too.

Last week my place was broken into, a whole bunch of stuff was taken, but he police got back 80% of it! My stuff was outside of a house just down the street from me, the police couldn't do anything, because there's no proof they took it, and of course the thieves aren't going to admit anything. Also the police are happy they got back most of my stuff, they aren't going to do anything further. So I changed my locks and got better locks for the windows. I'll get an alarm system too.
Anyways.... Take care possums!

Good Lord it's been a while since my last post, the sad thing is that there isn't much new in my life.
Some close friends are getting married next month so I'm excited about that!
My cancer treatment is going along all well. In a couple weeks I need to do a 15day course of chemo pills All-trans retinoic Acid (ATRA), that always makes me feel like crap for the first 6-7 days. I get the worst headaches of my life!
That's all I can think of for now... Take care of yourselves!
Peace, Love & Joy
