I have 13 nieces and nephews and 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews. I also have a pet cat, Whiskers.
I just finished this about an hour ago. It will either be a Christmas Exchange gift or will go for a friend who had cancer. They got it all they think but she has to go through radiation treatments as a safeguard. This was done for her than I thought of another piece I thought she might like more. We'll see.
Until next time Happy Stitching!
Slowly but surely I'm getting through the 50 challenge. It's taken over a year to do 21 and allegedly you are suppose to finish it in a year. Oh well....main thing is I haven't bought any patterns just for me. I did get some from Lizzie Kate this past week but that was a birthday gift. My sister sent me some money and I got them.
This piece will go to an AOY quilt we are doing at CSFC. I loved doing this piece and will probably do more of them in the future.
Until next time Happy Stitching!
I finished this a while back and forgot to post it here. I loved doing this piece and not only dones Stitching Mend the Soul but it's so relaxing. I love seeing a picture come to life on a blank piece of material.
Now I'm working on an AOY piece called Me and My Dog that is so cute. I'm over half done on it. It has a lot of half stitching on it which I don't care for but it does make the piece go quicker.
Well, until next time Happy Stitching!
I just finished this piece about an hour ago and have washed and ironed it. It was an annoying piece to do. I think because of the bright colors and I usually don't pick the bright colored pieces. But it was a summer piece and on Lake Michigan we see a lot of these Wind Surfers and love watching them. The stunts they can do and the grace of these it's beautiful to see. Especially when the waves are just right.
This piece will go to a child at Love Quilts.
I want to thank everyone for reading my blog and for those who left comments. Like so many others this isn't my main blog any more. I too switched over to Multiply and Blogger. But will come here for finishes.
Until next time (which may be only a few days), Happy Stitching!
I loved doing these Brown Bears from Endangered Young'uns by Ruth Moorehead. They are so cute. All the brown was boring but I did enjoy the piece.
Our family is ever growing. My nephew, Joshua and his wife are expecting their first baby in Feb. We are so excited for them. Also my nephew Jake, is getting married July 26.
Next week I'll be at the campground a lot. My sister and brother-in-law will be camping there. One day their daughter and son in law and their baby will be coming in. Addison is 2 months old now and growing. Can't wait to see her. She's cooing and smiling a lot more now.
I have gotten Zinnia's back out to work more on them. I am hoping to finish them by end of month we'll see.
Well until next time, Happy Stitching!
