Each aspect of you divine Self is framed in holiness and perfect purity, in love celestial . Its radiance shines through each body that it looks upon, and brushes all its darkness into light merely by looking past it to the light. The veil is lifted through its gentleness, and nothing hides the face of Christ from its beholders.

your real relationship is one of perfect union and unbroken continuity. The one you made is partial, self-centered, broken into fragments and full of fear. The one created by your Source is wholly Self-encompassing and Self-extending. The one you made is wholly self-destructive and self-limiting

Nothing can show the contrast better than the experience of both a holy and an unholy relationship. The first is based on love, and rests on it serene and undisturbed. The body does not intrude upon it. Any relationship in which the body enters is based not on love, but on idolatry. Love wishes to be known, completely understood and shared. It has no secrets; nothing that it would keep apart and hide. It walks in sunlight, open-eyed and calm, in smiling welcome and in sincerity so simple and so obvious it cannot be misunderstood

a gentler dream preceded his awaking, and allowed his calmer mind to welcome, not to fear, the Voice that calls with love to waken him; a gentler dream, in which his suffering was healed and where his brother was his friend. God willed he waken gently and with joy, and gave him means to waken without fear.

T-27.VII.14. Accept the dream He gave instead of yours. 2 It is not difficult to change a dream when once the dreamer has been recognized. 3 Rest in the Holy Spirit, and allow His gentle dreams to take the place of those you dreamed in terror and in fear of death. 4 He brings forgiving dreams, in which the choice is not who is the murderer and who shall be the victim. 5 In the dreams He brings there is no murder and there is no death. 6 The dream of guilt is fading from your sight, although your eyes are closed. 7 A smile has come to lighten up your sleeping face. 8 The sleep is peaceful now, for these are happy dreams.

T-27.VII.15. Dream softly of your sinless brother, who unites with you in holy innocence. 2 And from this dream the Lord of Heaven will Himself awaken His beloved Son. 3 Dream of your brother's kindnesses instead of dwelling in your dreams on his mistakes. 4 Select his thoughtfulness to dream about instead of counting up the hurts he gave. 5 Forgive him his illusions, and give thanks to him for all the helpfulness he gave. 6 And do not brush aside his many gifts because he is not perfect in your dreams. 7 He represents his Father, Whom you see as offering both life and death to you.

When you teach anyone that truth is true, you learn it with him. And so you learn that what seemed hardest was the easiest. Learn to be a happy learner.

So, learn that what The universe of learning will open up before you in all its gracious simplicity. With truth before you, you will not look back.

T-14.II.7. The happy learner meets the conditions of learning here, as he meets the conditions of knowledge in the Kingdom. 2 All this lies in the Holy Spirit's plan to free you from the past, and open up the way to freedom for you. 3 For truth is true. 4 What else could ever be, or ever was? 5 This simple lesson holds the key to the dark door that you believe is locked forever. 6 You made this door of nothing, and behind it is nothing. 7 The key is only the light that shines away the shapes and forms and fears of nothing. 8 Accept this key to freedom from the hands of Christ Who gives it to you, that you may join Him in the holy task of bringing light. 9 For, like your brothers, you do not realize the light has come and freed you from the sleep of darkness.

T-14.II.8. Behold your brothers in their freedom, and learn of them how to be free of darkness. 2 The light in you will waken them, and they will not leave you asleep. 3 The vision of Christ is given the very instant that it is perceived. 4 Where everything is clear, it is all holy. 5 The quietness of its simplicity is so compelling that you will realize it is impossible to deny the simple truth. 6 For there is nothing else. 7 God is everywhere, and His Son is in Him with everything. 8 Can he sing the dirge of sorrow when this is true? T-14.II.8.
