This is my first Yahoo 360 blog entry.  I am wanting to have more online presence and a single point to be able to point folks to for pictures, news, links, info, etc.  I am not sure Yahoo 360 is it yet so consider this my "beta" phase. 

2005 was an extremely busy but good year for me.  First we had the birth of our first born Andrew Edward Swierk in March 2005.  Sarah was in the hospital for almost 2 months on monitored bed rest so that made for some interesting times in (me) getting all of the baby stuff together while juggling a bunch of other things too!  I have quite a cache of pictures of Andrew on Yahoo located here-

If a newborn wasn't enough I also spent the last year in a leadership program at Nortel called Leadership Edge.  That went March 2005 - March 2006 (just ended).  This was a very good experience and I learned/grew quite a bit but it significantly added quite a load to my normally very busy day job (program was above/beyond day job).  To see what I do and network with me check out my entry on LinkedIn.com here-

Ok enough for my first entry! 

I do have my 2005 federal taxes to complete yet tonight (yes it is after 11pm my time the day before they are due...).  Lucky for me I am filing electronically and I already know I am owed quite a bit (did a first pass several weeks back now).  Thank God for Quicken and TurboTax!
