Most of you remember when i blogged a trip i made with my daughter to Cochran Ga. to see my daughter's sister-inlaw Jennifer graduate from high school.This is Chace's Aunt,his dad's sister. She loves Chace....I remember her driving down from Ga. and showing up by herself before her her lung transplant[on oxygen] just to see Chace.Chace dad never cared about him but his sister did. She has since had the lung transplant,Got married and started College. Now! ......This is a post My daughter made last night i wanted to share with you...If each of you could carry Jennifer in your prayers.We might can save her thru prayer...I have chill bumps this morning making this blog. Because i care for Jennifer, I have watched her grow up. Please read what my daughter has written.... I know a lot of you don't know Jennifer; she is an amazing person. Jennifer is my sister inlaw. Jimmy's baby sister. She was born with Cystic Fibrosis Disease and was told she wouldn't live past age 7. With her strong faith, family and friends she is now 19 years old married and in college. She had a double lung transplant about a year ago.She was admitted to Emory hospital on earlier this week b/c she's was unable to breathe. They did a biopsy of her lungs that showed she has pneumonia and the flu. They are unsure if this is just caused by a regular sickness or if it's a sign of rejection. She was admitted to ICU this morning and is in pretty bad shape. She is having a really hard time breathing and is scared, but she's hanging in there. Jen's husband and her older brother have been up there with her since friday and her Dad and sister are headed up there now. What I ask of you all is to PLEASE keep her in your prayers.
Maybe if we start this prayer chain people can take a moment and pray for her because she needs all the prayers she can get\ Please repost this so we can start this prayer chain to everyone with strong faith.Posted by Jessie (Jennifer's Sister):
Jennifer is still in critical condition. They took her off the ventilator and put her on a more powerful machine called an oscillator. It does all of the breathing for her and keeps her breathing in a hyperventilation state allowing carbon dioxide to flow in and out more freely. She is unconscience so she is unable to feel any pain and is getting rest. The doctors do not seem extremely optimistic, but are still hopeful. The parainfluenza is so bad that it has hardened her lungs which is what causes her difficulty in breathing. We are playing a waiting game.
