aquí les dejo una pequeña obra de teatro escrita para mi tarea de francés cuyo objetivo era la utilización de frases fijas para cambiar de tema, mostrarse ambivalente y emitir opiniones. El resultado es muy incoherente:

Angeline – Solaris es un libro re pesado.

Marco – No es pesado, es filosófico. Vos no entendés la filosofía porque sos superficial.

Gabriel [se dirige a Angeline] – Eso me hace pensar en que la superficie de la pared exterior de tu casa es poco brillante.

Angeline y Marco – ¡¿Qué?! No cambiés el tema.

Gabriel – No cambié el tema. Es la verdad.

Angeline – Lo que dijiste es imposible. La pared de mi casa tiene 70 años y está hecha de piedra. Es lógico que un muro como ése no brille más.

Marco – ¿Viste? Ése es tu problema: Solaris no es un libro para lógicos. Es un libro espiritual.

Angeline – Pero la filosofía es completamente lógica.

Marco – No tenés razón, hay lugar para la espiritualidad en la filosofía

Angeline y Marco [al unísono] – ¿Vos qué pensás?

Gabriel – No sé qué decir. Eso me recuerda que va llover y por lo tanto ustedes me parecen decepcionantes.

Angeline y Marco – ¡¿Qué?!

Greetings;

Here you have a little theatre piece that I wrote as part of my homework for French class. The purpose of such activity was to employ fixed phrases to change subjects, show ambivalence and give opinions. The end result is very incoherent:

Angeline: Solaris is so heavy a book.

Marco: It’s not heavy, it’s philosophical. You can’t understand philosophy because you are superficial.

Gabriel [towards Angeline]: That reminds me of the surface of your house outer wall and that it doesn’t practically shine.

Angeline & Marco: What?! Don’t change the subject.

Gabriel: I didn’t change the subject. It’s the truth.

Angeline: What you said is impossible. My house wall is 70 year old and it’s made of stone. It’s logical that a wall like that doesn’t shine anymore.

Marco: See? That’s your problem: Solaris isn’t a book for the logical type. It’s a spiritual book.

Angeline: But philosophy is completely logical.

Marco: You’re wrong, there’s a place for spirituality in philosophy.

Angeline y Marco [at unison] – What do you think?

Gabriel: I don’t know what to say. That reminds me that it’s going to rain and as a consequence I find you disappointing.

Angeline y Marco: What?!

Ici, vous avez une petite pièce de théâtre que j’ai écrit comme devoir pour ma classe de français. Son objectif était l’emploi de phrases fixées pour changer de sujet, dénoter ambivalence et donner des opinions. Le résultat final est très incohérent.

Angeline – Solaris est un livre très, très ennuyeux.

Marco – C’est ne pas ennuyeux, c’est philosophique. Tu ne comprends pas la philosophie parce que tu es superficielle.

Gabriel [vers Angeline] – Ça ma fait penser que la surface du mure chez-toi est peu brillante.

Angeline et Marco – Pardon?! Ne changes pas le sujet.

Gabriel – Je ne l’ai pas changé. C’est la vérité.

Angeline – Ça que tu as dit est impossible. Le mure chez-moi a 70 ans et c’est fait en pierres. C’est normal q’un mure comme ça ne brille plus.

Marco – Tu Vois? Ça est ton problème: Solaris n’est pas a livre pour les logiques, C’est un livre spirituel.

Angeline – Mais la philosophie est complètement logique.

Marco – Tu as tort. Il y a la place pour la spiritualité dans la philosophie.

Angeline et Marco [ensemble] – Que penses-tu?

Gabriel – Je suis partagé. Ça me rappelle que il pleuvra par conséquence je vous trouve très décevant !!!

Angeline et Marco – Pardon?!

02- Why did I choose Yahoo 360?

Greetings,

After having posted for the first time in my blog, I found out that Y! 360 is deader than Betamax and as dead as HD DVD [what brings me to what will probably be my next posting: the HD video format war]. So, I decided to think which was the reason that led me to choose this service that, as I have just discovered, is in its beta period [yes, now I know that it says “beta” on the top of the page but at that time, the most important, I did not notice it]. The answer is simple: the avatar.
Yahoo avatars can be customed and, as I do not feel quite comfortable with the idea of making personal images public in cyberspace, I thought that such feature could provide a faithful representation of my identity without completely exposing myself to the eyes of the thousand of million people that are going to read mi blog on the more than dead yahoo 360.
I want to be famous without being known!
