I was a firefighter and first responder for many years. It is something that you do not lose but use to help others.

This weekend the weather was nice. We had set up our volleyball games with even teams. The games were close in score with every game that we played. Fun was had by all. Almost. A guest of a guest during one of the games proceeded to condemn one or two people ( a couple of women in our group ) for being nude with men around. And making some very nasty comments.
You have to understand this is a clothing optional group. Most of the people are nudists. Those who can or want to play volleyball. Those who can't or for one reason or the other don't wish to play sit on the side lines . Watch the games. Talk among themselves. Read. Or just sunbath. It is a very relaxed group.
For what ever reason this one person took it upon herself to "damn" the females in the group. She had no problems watching the guys play. But she had problems with the women there.
The problem is with this person. She was told not to come back again. That she was not welcomed as a guest of the group. Even when she was asked to stop and keep her comments to herself she continued on. She was fully aware of the nature of the group before coming as a guest. She should have asked her friend to take her home if she had an issue. But she did not. Instead she created problems. I give the members of the group credit for putting up with this person for her extremely narrow views and nasty comments.
Once we were able to get her to leave the day turned out to be very enjoyable.

We as a group have a very strong respect for what this holiday stands for. And we made sure that our flags were flying in full glory and in full respect of those who gave, serving this great country. God Bless.

Well that neighbor didn't wait till I got out there this weekend. The Grass was between 6 and eight inches tall. She made a bunch of phone calls till she found someone in the town that would listen. I got a formal complant about it being "too high" from the town. And had twenty four hours to cut it. So I gave up my sleep yesterday to spend the time cutting it to make her happy. I ended up going to work last night with only a few hours of sleep. She seems to think that because I am home all day that I have the time to cut that field. She doesn't seem to understand or care that I have to sleep during the day because I work the 10 pm to 8 am shift . I work when most people sleep and sleep when most people are at work. I guess that concept it too hard for the "bitchy" woman to understand. Then she has the nerve to come over to me as I am cutting and tell me that I had "forced her to be mean and call the town" . All of this after I told her that I was going to cut it this weekend. She doesn't seem to understand that it is a field. Not a lawn. Her comment was that she wants it to look like a park not a field. And that she will keep complaining till it stays like a park.
If it was two or three feet tall I could understand her complaining but a few inches ? Give me a break for crying out loud. It's a field. A FIELD. Not a city park !!! What a pain in the ass she is going to be this summer. I can start to understand why her husband said goodbye.

It's that time of the year again when one might come into contact with poison ivy, poison oak or other such plants. It is the oil of the plant that creates problems and make us break out with blisters etc. The best thing to do is to wash the oil from the plant off as soon as you can. Just rinsing with COLD water will help. It flushes the oil off of the skin and the cold water helps to close the skin pours (opp's the spelling ) hot water will or warm water will open them and allow the oil to soak in more.
For soap. Use a liq. dish soap such as Dawn etc. It is made to remove oil and grease from dishes and pots and pans. It will also break down and remove the oil from the plants from the skin better then just regular hand soap.
I hope this helps if you should encounter any of these plants .

May your day be an enjoyable nude day. May the sun shine and keep you warm. May your buns toast to a wonderful tan. : - )
