I love listening to Dr. Rogers' sermons and also reading the devotional I receive in my e-mail each morning . He preaches what I believe all Christians are called to do - to tell people about Jesus and the good news. You say, "what is the good news"? I've ask myself this for a long time, trying to come up with a simple answer to this question. I don't think there is no one (1) answer. I believe the good news is everything and anything that pertains to Jesus. His birth, His life, His teachings, His miracles, His death and His resurection. The good news is: you don't have to die and go to hell, you can have everlasting life in heaven. You don't ever have to be alone, you can have Jesus by your side. The list goes on and on!
Until tomorrow, think about this: If you were to die today, where would you spend eternity?
Have a Great Monday and May God Bless!
As you can see, a huge bowl full of Strawberries with sugar for days, HaHaHa!
Someone came by selling Strawberries for their Church yesterday, so, naturally I had to have some! I do luv strawberries!!
Ok, so I have a BAD sweet tooth! Never was much on sweets till I hit the 49 mile-stone. After that, I have No Idea what happened!! But I could eat something sweet for breakfast, lunch, and supper! My waistline is beginning to show the effects of that sweet-tooth too!
So NOT fair! Oh well, Grandmothers are suppose to be all soft and squishy, right???(OK, color change goin on there, don't know what I did, Ga!)
Well, that's enough for today, it's time to go stir my Strawberries. All that sugar has almost all melted and you talk about good, omgosh!! ![]()

It's been a while since I put my thoughts down, but there's been So much going on... I don't even know where to start. I've been sooo tired, the thought of doing anything, anything at all, has just been "out-of-tha-question"!! Does that make any since at all? Ha! Probably not, unless you also have Fibromyalgia. I hate this DD!
Do ya ever ask, "why, why me"? Why do I have fibro? I have a new granddaughter (4 mo. old) that I haven't been able to spend much time with, not to mention her sister, who is 7 yr. old who was with me almost 24/7 the first 3 years of her life. Now, I can't "hold out" long enough to even visit for a few hours. 30 to 45 minutes, and I've gotta go home, so I can get in my dang-blame chair or in the bed!! I am sooo sick of it! I just want my life back, ya know? I was once an outdoors type person. Always going somewhere, doing something, and even farming with my husband. We had beef cows & hay fields to keep up. I loved working out in my yard (trying to get flowers to grow!!
Ha!) Not anymore. Just stay at home all the time now & waite for the next "pill time", which is 3 x's per day just in case you're wondering. Oh well, enough of whining, gotta get off the pitty-pot.
My daughter wants to take college classes on-line. We've looked and looked and looked some more on the net for a college. There are gazillions of colleges out there offering on-line courses! Ga! Which one does a person pick for crying out loud??!!?? She's interested in Web design, Graphic design, Photography and Art. Hmm, which one do we pick out of the 10,000 or so?? I'm open for suggestions!
Well, I hope everyone is having a good Columbus Day, and hope the rest of this week goes good 'till another weekend is in view!!
