WHATTA DAY WE HAD!!! tomatoes, mozzerella, vino, pasta, and karaoke on the bar! what more could we have asked for???? SISTA CHRIS AND SIR GUILLAUME TO JOIN US! 'twasn't to be that day, so we made the best of it... every subject under the sun was discussed; we agreed on every one! the laffs never ended... the vids??? oh the debut of the voulez vous chanteuses were quite scandalous lol! 
and the memories of me similarities with sista sea, and their resulting hilarity, will NEVUH EVUH be forgotten! 
sista chris taught us all about ripples... and as long as we have ripples, we have love, and as long as we have love... WE HAVE IT ALL!!! cheers to blue skies, warm sunny days, mangia italiana (you better believe that includes the vino lol), singing, laughter and never-ending smiles! 
sista sea? you are a beloved treasure remaining forever in my life and my heart!

this is me, doing something i love and dearly miss (hunting for sea shells), with my cuz, when we lived on the gulf of mexico... AND 15 lbs ago, before my thyroid decided to turn against me... i have some very kind friends here that i needed to show the diff between then and now, hoping they'll see why i'd like to be at least 10 lbs towards back to 'then'... my pitiful stomach (also turning against me) would appreciate if i did so! not having much luck on this endeavor tho, too many medicine changes right now, but i'm still not givin' up on it...

but the universe does not run by my wishful thinking lol... having spent the last week housebound, except for a dr visit, i put up the tree today... was rolling along pretty well too, the 'light testing' went well, all last year's lights still worked this year... a good sign, right? NOT... i was here alone and i hate stringing lights alone, gotta get up and down the step stool and 'round and 'round the tree... finally got 'em all up... plugged them in and voila... f@#!$%s wouldn't all turn on... after 3 attempts in 2 hrs, i finally have them working... and half the house decorated... the rest will wait til tomorrow cos i'm having a relapse in the yukkies department... they say there are moments to be found everywhere but i'm a fan of making my own moments... kinda like making lemonade when life hands you lemons... i heated up a cup of caramel apple cider, grilled a tuna sandwich, burned some spiced cider fragrance oil, lit the fireplace, and settled in to watch a good movie... with the lights of the (finally) christmas tree shining on...Saturday December 1, 2007 - 08:49pm (PST) Permanent Link - ahhh, mondays...

the sun is shining...
the temps are quite temperate...
no allergy-laden wind blowing...
it's a new beginning to a new week....
and the dirty dishes are in the sink, the newspaper spread all over the kitchen, the cat hair all over the furniture, the laundry piled up, the bathrooms needing cleaned, the litterboxes need changed, the milk is running out, dust has settled everywhere (does that in 20 mins tho), etc etc etc... doncha just LUV mondays!
