Welcome to my page. I want to share a little about me, my thoughts, my life and what drives me. I am all woman!

You know you pass as a woman when!
This is defined as a list of ways that you know you pass as a woman. They are more cute than totally true.Although some may be, but mostly they are fun. Think about your experience and see if some have happened to you.

You know you are passing as a woman when:

Another woman calls you hon or sweetie.

A woman talks to you in the ladies room

A woman started complaining about men.

A woman messes with here bra while you are next to her.

A guy with his wife checks you out. (stares).

A woman checks you out (glance), and snubs you or smiles.

A woman asks for your advise about makeup or clothes to purchase.

A man holds a door open for you.

An adolescent girl looks to see how you are put together.

Nods and smiles at you when her husband acts like a typical man.

When you get a dirty look from a woman when her guy checks you out or smiles at you.

Events with an impact on our lives.
Events with an impact on our lives. magnify
There were a number of events and my interaction with them, that had an effect on my life and me. Some of them I was a part of:

Although I was not at the site during the shootings, I was on the campus of Kent State University the day of the shootings and walked past that site earlier that morning.

I walked around Buckingham Palace one week after the funeral of Princess Diana. seeing all of the flowers and tributes to her.

I flew on an airplane the day before 911 and on Friday after when flights were resumed. The airports we empty and it was eerie.

I drove past Abbeville Park the scene of riots in Belfast, Northern, Ireland.

I shopped at a Chinese market that was bombed 2 months later, by terrorist in Jakarta.

I was in a convenience store 1 mile from Columbine High School and heard sirens when the shooting there occurred.

I toured Dealy Plaza (many years later) looking out the same window that Lee Harvey Oswald shot John Kennedy.

These events all had an impact upon my life but it is incredible to me that I could be so close to these events in history. There is absolutely no exaggeration to anything that I have mentioned in the above paragraphs.

Probably the biggest impact on my life was the Kent State shootings in 1970, because I was there that day.

We would enjoy hearing about those events that had an impact on your life.

If you could be another person for a week?
If you could be a person for a week who would you be? I asked this question in my blast, but a number of you asked me to put it in my blog so that you could see everyone else's responses.
I want to first hear from you then I will write a response with my answer to this question later.
I would prefer a real person past or present if possible.
Hugs
Kristi

The natural me
The natural me magnify
Although I have not transitioned completely, I spend 90% of my time out as the real female me. It is natural and I feel out of place when it is necessary to be a male at work or some personal business situations.

It is so nice that the employees in the stores that I frequent know me and come up to me to chat girl talk. It is no longer trying to be a woman, or worrying about the things that I used to.

Now it is focus ordinary things. I often stop a Panera Bread and sit a with some lady friends. We share so much in our conversation: I love to hear about mothering, or fashion, and sales at store nearby. We also talk about craft projects. Oh yes,I enjoy the gossip and the differences about men and women.

It is also so much fun for a female stranger to walk up to me and ask my opinion about makeup or the color of a top. Also a conversation in the lady's room.

I am even more comfortable about interactions with men. It is so nice to get that attention. A stare or a smile. I am also realizing how to react to and deal with men. A cute man was so eager to help me in the hardware department at Target yesterday. It is so cute to have a man try to impress me with his masculine knowledge of things. So gratifying to me. I just loved it.

I am comfortable and happy with this and pondering my future.

Chain of Confidence
Chain of Confidence magnify
There are many concerns about women and their self confidence. Brooke Shields and Tupperware have taken the lead in a campaign to enlighten, educate, and empower women all over the world. I truly believe that women have been treated as the second class gender as does Brooke. Many transgender people fall into this group by nature also. This group challenges all women to share and acknowledge how self confidence comes from the soul. and inspiring connections that come from other women. We also need to share this with others.
I truly believe that we do the same through this website and with our friends on 360 and other sites. Yes this self esteem will allow us to grow into the women we want and need to be.
This website is very worthwhile checking out at. http://chainofconfidence.com/
Thank you all for your great blogs about your experiences also. They make an important impression and roadmap for others. They have and do make an impression
Hugs
Kristi
