4 weeks came and went. a lot can happen in 4 weeks. in more ways than one the time passes by with a blink of an eye.
this morning at 5:30am, uncle eddie passed on. just a little over the 4 weeks the doctor gave him. i want to write more, but at the moment the words can't seem to form. so i'll leave it at that.
you always were the funny guy uncle. you never failed to make us all laugh during our family get-togethers. we're all gonna miss you . . .

it's funny how circumstances can skew your perception of time.
4 weeks, a whole month, 4 weekends, 30 something days.
if you're into agile at work, that's 2 whole sprints.
at the moment, that's how much time my uncle's got left to live. apparently the doctor's have given up on chemo and any other treatment for his lung cancer.
seriously, if you're a smoker... you really need to think on it.
4 fucking weeks. my cousin's wedding was going to be in four weeks. now he won't even get to see his daughter get married.
