Let's just say this - if you ever find the love of your life, don't screw it up. Don't act tough because you're afraid of getting hurt, don't be overly independant because you're afraid you'll lose your identity, and don't neglect the one you love for work, friends, or things that just aren't that important. Hold them, love them, respect them, and cherish every moment you have with them. Because when they are gone - and you realize what you have lost - you will feel like your whole world has come crashing down around you. Love is a fragile thing - so is the heart - and Karma is a bitch. Chances are if you break someone's heart - whether you mean to or not - one day yours will be broken as well. And believe me, when it is your heart on the line, it is a not a so pleasant experience. Regret has to be the most unpleasant feeling in the world besides rejection. And when you must face the two at the same time, it is almost unbearable. Take my word, my friends - if you know who you love and you know what you want, recognize it, admit it, surrender to it, and don't be afraid to make yourself vulnerable to it - true love is worth the risk. Treat that person like a cherished, irreplaceable treasure - because that's what they are - and never, EVER let them go.
