So, last night at the church was "Ladies Night Out"- actually ladies night in lol. It was wonderful. When I was invited to go, I really did not know what to expect. After I came home from my internship placement from the court house (had a headache all day and needed at least an hour or sleep before the Ladies Night began) I thought it best to take a short nap. My mamma came to our apartment making sure we were going to be there. Sam called me, and that actually reminded me, "hey girl get up, there's some where ya got to be". Anyways, needless to say my sister and I arrived at the church at 6:45pm- the Ladies Night at the church began at 6:30pm. When we were in the basement, all the ladies greeted us with a smile. Sis. Phoebe showed us quick snacks to prepare (which I am so going to try)! After the snacks, we watched a movie called, "Though None Go With Me" - a cute film (of course a chick flick). I heard the women crying, luckily the only reason I wasn't weeping and wailing is because I have the dvd, so I knew what to expect. Eventhough I knew certain things were going to happen, it still didn't stop a few tears. All in all, we had a great night at the church...and I arrived home at 9:19 pm (I only live about 3 minutes from the church driving distance). It really was a good evening at the church.
Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. - Song of Solomon 8:7
Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty- let all creation sing praise to the King of Kings....
Ever walked down a side walk and saw a couple holding hands and you think to your self, " Are they really that happy?" Love is wonderful, amazing, and love is also extremely intoxicating... but love can cause you pain, so much pain that your very soul feels as if you are being unbelievably tortured in the most cruelest agony known to man kind (be honest, you know its true). The pain not being with the person, and continuously thinking about him/ her can make your heart feel as thought you just can't take it... but, my friend hold on to love - it is always worth it.
