Crochet,Traumatic Brain Injury, Wrestling, and ATTITUDE
Crochet, Wrestling, Rants on Chronic Pain..anything goes here.
We're still alive and kicking down in Carolina. Tim is doing well, and things down here were...well not in good shape; so I'm spending some time at home kicking butt and taking names. SarahJane helps by trying to beat the puppies into submission. The trouble is, while they may be younger, they are already a lot larger than she is.
Working on a Kitchen Swap and Secret Pal Swap at Crochetville, and soon will be doing Au Naturale, the Natural Fiber Swap. I love them all and have been happily finding my yarns that were left behind down here, and buying some new ones as needed.
SarahJane and I are hitting the road today, heading down to Carolina for Christmas. Tim's doing well and Grandma will keep him in line while we're gone, probably about 3 weeks or so.
So, Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy 2008 to all!
Saturday was one of those days you just wish never happened. Poor SarahJane had to be rushed to the vet with what can best be described as an embarrassing injury. Apparently she was a bit constipated and strained and something was stuck. They had to shave her bottom and now she's in an Elizabethian collar for a week while she takes pills and has cream put on her butt twice a day.
I missed the mailman with a package, and when I went down to the post office he wasn't back yet so Monday I'll get my reveal package. Guess I'll have to get my little packages and cards ready to mail and take them all down at once. Probably will be ready for new library books then, too.
