I finished my holiday shopping--finally---but need to create something wonderful for a very special lady----I had bought a lot of items off her at Bidville and from a lot of other nice people--some I have bought from before and some new ........I also had been busy with my art dolls---------sold 3 more and deposited the checks in my checking account---on to more shopping I thought. I paid almost everyone for my purchases before I had deposited those checks and was running out of money so those checks had come at the perfect time.......then the bank notified me--account frozen until checks clear-7 to 10 business days---because they were out of state checks. Back to my special friend---I owe her over $100 for items I bought off her at Bidville to be used as Christmas gifts--now can't pay until the end of the month---I contacted her over this terrible problem so she would know what's happening and hope she won't mind holding my things until I can pay her. The reply from her was-----"Merry Christmas--items are being shipped--pay me at the end of the month when you can"-----after I stopped crying I replied to her message-----She is a truly special lady and I hope happiness and good health rain down on her by the bucketful!

Vacation--What's that!  I tried ----again---to take a break and get my craft room into actual usuable and efficient work space.  Just like the last time---about 1 day was actual time spent working on it---the rest of the time was with grandson--visits to doctor--shopping for new shoes for him (I swear he's grown 3" since May) and of course, Papa had distractions for me--work on storage building clean out, run errands, etc.  So it's back to work tomorrow night whether I want to or not----oh to retire--still my dream--to be able to stay home and create my dolls with no pressures to do other things.  Grandson starts school this fall so at least I can work on things when he's at school.

While burrowing in sewing room I found fabric/trims I forgot I had!  Vintage items bought in the 70's---very wild prints and beads--ofcourse lace to compliment them---always the mix and match shopper--a bit too much so--drawers full of things to use but no time to do it--should teach me to stop buying--but all it takes is a peek at something different--wham---money spent!

I am speechless (yes it does happen occasionally)---Sunni maypole faery has been chosen as cover doll for Goddess Dolls for June!  I was blessed when Marina was chosen as a cover doll, but to receive that honor a second time is something I never would have thought possible!!!  I put myself into all my creations--and to be recognised for the time consuming and very expensive cost to create these Art Dolls makes it all worthwhile!  As with anything an artist creates, when it seems your art is not being accepted as what it truly is--thought of as a hobby---a whim---some little thing that is of no notice---it becomes hard to not be sensitive over whether others can't see what you see when you look at your creations--question your talents--and wonder if all the funds spent developing your art are waste---then zing!!!!!you are accepted----your art sells-----now when my feet touch back down to earth it'll be time to create again!!!  50's doll next, tribute doll, self-portrait doll, entry for cover doll for December, more mermaids and sea horses, another Nun---------------the wheels are turning!!!

I think someone is trying to infect our computers---I had a wierd message from Alleg. freecycle--some pervert?  Nothing I sent to friends and family--they all know me enough that I'm not into sicko stuff---so if you got a message says it was from me and had perverted content---zap it!!!! Because I didn't send it!
