It hasn't happened yet, or did it once before?

3-15-09 - NAP DREAM 3:45 p.m. - I was sitting on the lawn in front of my house on 16th St. in Milwaukee. I saw a woman way down the street waving high in the air and waving a dog leash at me to get my attention. Meanwhile, Joe was out in front of the house, putting our dog Lily into the car using a red leash.
The woman kept walking towards me waving the dog leash and I knew it couldn't be mine because I just saw Joe putting Lily into the car with our red dog leash. The woman just kept coming closer and closer and she wouldn't take, "No!", or "It's not ours as an answer, and she gave it to us anyway. This leash was a long one and it was dark pink.

She sat down on the lawn next to me and we talked about how it was possible for a dog leash of ours to get way down the street, and I knew it wasn't mine.

All of a sudden, there was a tiny baby laying on the lawn as well, and it was just wiggling a bit, so I picked it up. It was very small.

I looked at it's eyes, and one eye was twisted sideways like a doll's eye can get in the socket, and I saw an owl on one side of the eye, and the eye ball next to it, and all of a sudden, the eye flipped, and there was a picture of a large owl in the eye socket. I must say I was very unsettled by it. Then the eye righted itself, and it became a real eye again.

The baby was very fussy and I knew it was hungry and it would need to be fed. I wondered where its mother was and then I remembered that I had a dream about eight puppies being born a couple weeks ago, and wondered if this one one of those puppies, but it looked quite human except for the eye that had gotten messed up for a few minutes.

I felt the urge to nurse the baby, but it wasn't my baby, yet it needed to be fed, so I took the baby to the car to take it to the store to get what I needed to take care of an infant so tiny.

When I opened the car door, I woke up but before I was fully awake, I heard a voice in my left ear say, "What about the catastrophe on South Way Beach?"

NOTE: I got up off the sofa and came to my computer to look up Southway Beach and South Way Beach , and there was nothing, but google.com kept offering me South Bay Beach near Los Angeles. It said it was the most oppulent community in the United States.

But what about the catastrophe?

CALIFORNIA'S TSUNAMI RISK
Since 1812, the California coast has had 14 tsunamis with wave heights higher than three feet; six of these were destructive. The Channel Islands were hit by a big tsunami in the early 1800s. The worst tsunami resulted from the 1964 Alaskan earthquake and caused 12 deaths and at least $17 million in damages in northern California.

The 1992 Cape Mendocino earthquake produced a one foot tsunami that reached Humboldt Bay about 20 minutes after the shaking. Although not damaging, this tsunami demonstrated that locally generated tsunamis can reach our coastline quickly. Had the earthquake lasted longer, the wave heights would have been higher. Evidence suggests that large earthquakes capable of producing local tsunamis recur every two or three hundred years.

WHAT IS A TSUNAMI (SOONAHMEE)?

A tsunami is a series of sea waves most commonly caused by an earthquake beneath the sea floor. In the open ocean, tsunami waves travel at speeds of up to 600 miles per hour. As the waves enter shallow water, they may rise rapidly. The waves can kill and injure people and cause great property damage where they come ashore. The first wave is often not the largest; successive waves may be spaced many minutes apart and continue arriving for a number of hours.

LOCALLY GENERATED TSUNAMI

If a large earthquake displaces the sea floor near the coast, the first waves may reach the shore minutes after the ground stops shaking. There is no time for authorities to issue a warning.

DISTANT SOURCE TSUNAMI

Tsunami waves may also be generated by very large earthquakes in the Pacific Ocean. These waves reach the California coast many hours after the earthquake. The Tsunami Warning Center alerts local officials, who may order evacuation. Those in isolated areas may not hear official evacuation announcements. A sudden drop or rise in sea level may be a warning of impending danger. Move inland or to higher ground immediately.

WHERE AND WHEN DO TSUNAMIS OCCUR?

Tsunamis can occur at any time of day or night, under any and all weather conditions, and in all seasons. Beaches open to the ocean, bay mouths or tidal flats, and the shores of large coastal rivers are especially vulnerable to tsunamis.

WHAT IS A LOW-LYING AREA AND HOW HIGH IS HIGH GROUND?

Typical peak wave heights from large tsunamis in the Pacific Ocean over the last 80 years have been between 21 and 45 feet at the shoreline. A few waves, however, have been higher locally- as much as 100 feet in a few isolated locations.

The best general advice available today is to:

Go to an area 100 feet above sea level, if possible, or go up to 2 miles inland. If you can not get this high or far, go as high and far as you can. Every foot inland or upwards may make a difference.

Go on foot if at all possible because of traffic, damage to roads, downed power lines, and other earthquake debris.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO EVACUATE?

A major tsunami-producing earthquake will likely shake the ground strongly for at least 20 seconds. Get into the habit of counting how long the earthquake shaking lasts. If you count 20 seconds of strong ground shaking, evacuate as soon as it is safe to do so.

If evacuation is impossible, the third floor or higher of a reinforced concrete building may offer protection, but such a building should be used only as a last resort.

WHAT CAN I DO AHEAD OF TIME?

1.Make disaster plans now. Talk to the people you live with about what may happen during a strong earthquake. If you live or work in a low-lying coastal area, know where to go to survive a tsunami. Hold earthquake/tsunami drills at home or at work.

2.Assemble a portable disaster supply kit. Have a kit available in your car, at home and at work. Your kit should include a portable radio with fresh batteries, water, first aid supplies, flashlight, and extra clothes or a blanket. Put your kit in a backpack and leave it in a convenient place.

3.Contact local emergency officials. Find out what areas are most vulnerable to tsunami hazards, which areas are safe, and which routes are best for evacuation.

4.Take a first aid class. Learn survival skills, talk with your family, friends and neighbors. Knowledge is your greatest defense against any potential disaster.

5.Join a neighborhood emergency response team. Contact your local Office of Emergency Services to learn whether there is such a program in your city or county. Or start one in your own neighborhood.

Scientists say if an earthquake strikes hard enough to knock people in the South Bay off their feet, an underwater cliff off the coast of Palos Verdes with a roughly 2,000-foot vertical drop could give way and trigger a tsunami that would inundate the beach cities.

The worst-case scenario would send 40-foot waves into the South Bay coastline in less than 10 seconds, according to scientists who use computers to map out the scenario.

In Redondo Beach, the surge would put King Harbor under water and crest over the Esplanade bluff, deluging homes.

In Manhattan Beach, swells would wash over multi-million dollar homes on The Strand then continue up two blocks to Highland Avenue.

Hermosa, whose Strand homes and downtown are just a few feet above sea level, would fare far worse.

The scene would not be as horrific as in Southern Asia last December, but it would be devastating for those close to the beach. There would be no air raid sirens or other public warnings to alert people except for the earthquake’s sudden jolt.

Southern California has warning systems in place for tsunamis generated a great distance away that would alert residents hours in advance. But there is no warning system for a “near source” tsunami.
“People will have to react and recognize that if the ocean suddenly recedes it is not a good time to go tide pooling,” said Redondo Beach Fire Captain Bob Engler.

Following the tragic Southern Asia tsunami, Engler and other fire department officials throughout Southern California stepped up their efforts to prepare for a local tsunami.

Adding urgency to the effort was the 3.4 Richter scale earthquake four miles offshore of Manhattan on March 22. Costas Synolakis, director for the USC Viterbi School of Tsunami Research, said the local quake is “cause for alarm.”

“It shows that some faults are more active than we thought. If a tsunami happens on a Sunday afternoon with thousands of people on the beach, it’s a problem,” Synolakis said.

Synolakis and other scientists, including Mark Legg of Legg Geophysical in Huntington Beach, said that a local earthquake greater than magnitude 6.5 on the Richter scale could trigger a landslide in the Palos Verdes canyon or the 1,500-feet-deep Redondo Canyon that would displace enough water to produce a tsunami.

"A big offshore earthquake could be the worst natural catastrophe this nation has ever seen," Legg said. "People have short memories. How many people 40 years from now will remember about tsunamis?"

Several nearby faults pose a serious quake threat, including the Palos Verdes fault, which runs through the peninsula north to south and into the ocean on either end. A fault running from Newport to Inglewood could also trigger a slide off Palos Verdes. The Newport to Inglewood fault was responsible for the 1933 quake that registered 6.25 on the Richter scale and destroyed much of downtown Long Beach.

A 2002 report by Synolakis, Legg and Jose Borrero concluded that a quake triggered by The Catalina Fault on the west side of Catalina could produce an offshore landslide that would result in surges of up to eight feet in the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Parts of San Diego County’s coastline could also be at risk as well as South Bay beach cities.

Synolakis and others also co-wrote an article in the current issue of Civil Engineering magazine in which they concluded that Long Beach would suffer the worst damage in the event of a tsunami formed by a landslide off Palos Verdes. They did not analyze affects to the South Bay beach cities. But damage to Los Angeles harbor and the low-lying areas of Long Beach and Orange County could range from $7 billion to $42 billion, not including human life, the report states. The scientists hope the information will help officials determine how much they are willing to spend on a warning system and other protective measures.

Tsunami risks close to home

With its offshore faults and low-lying beach areas, Southern California has been hit by tsunamis in the past and will always be at some risk. In a worst-case scenario, experts say, up to 75,000 people could die. Here are the three types of geological events that researchers say could one day send a flood of ocean water our way:

1. Local underwater hazards

The Catalina fault is a prime local tsunami hazard. A big quake there could push up the seafloor, displacing water that would swamp the shoreline. Such a quake might also have a domino effect, triggering tsunamis as a result of undersea landslides closer to shore in one of the following hazard zones:

Point Dume: Offshore wall shows signs of having failed in the past. Low-lying areas from Malibu to Santa Monica could flood.

Redondo Canyon: Collapse of the canyon walls could flood low-lying areas. Inundation zones might include Marina del Rey and the shores of Santa Monica and the South Bay beach cities.

Palos Verdes Canyon: Inundation from an offshore collapse could stretch from the Los Angeles-Long Beach port area to Sunset Beach in Orange County. Santa Catalina Island might also be affected.

2. Subduction under the Pacific Northwest

The Cascadia subduction zone in the Pacific Northwest is similar in its potential for major earthquakes to the one off Sumatra that caused the devastating tsunami in December. A big quake along the Cascadia fault could affect areas throughout the Pacific, including California. Here is a comparison of the two continental shelves: (see graphic)

3. A faraway quake

Historically, the tsunami threat in the Pacific Ocean is greatest as a result of a major quake in Chile, Alaska or Japan. A large enough quake could pose a danger to the West Coast of the United States.

The Dec. 26 quake off Sumatra created a tsunami in the Indian Ocean that flooded shorelines thousands of miles away.

If a tsunami or other major disaster strikes Hermosa Beach, there's not just the people to consider, there are the pets that could be abandoned by the hundreds in the event of a citywide evacuation.
With the city's cramped kennel facilities suitable for just a handful of pets, Hermosa Beach is ill-prepared to handle a surge of four-legged friends during emergencies like the fire that hit Malibu earlier this week, city officials say.

So, this week, Hermosa Beach became the first South Bay city to sign up with animal rescue organization Noah's Wish, a Sacramento- based nonprofit that steps in and tends to lost and injured animals during crisis situations nationwide, for as long as needed

It is an effect of the wobble, affecting the position of the GPS satellites. Elevation is determined by GPS satellite networks, which are supposed to operate as though geostationary. When the distance to a spot on the Earth changes due to the wobble, increasing in distance for instance, they assume a lower elevation. Distance is determined by the GPS equipment based on the time it takes for a signal to travel to and from one of the satellites in the network.

A student who was cycling past, said the aircraft appeared to have lost power.

The black box will show that the engines stalled. This type of crash is not unheard of. As anyone familiar with driving cars knows, an engine can stall if it is flooded, or can stall if the fuel combination is not correct, has water in the gas or some such problem. Aircraft engines are just as sensitive. A stall where there is the altitude to recover is not fatal, but when close to the ground does result in a crash. Distracted pilots caused this problem, and paid for their mistake with their lives.

When it woke up in 2008 it created ice melting and a flood and ashes that went down with the water, that practically destroyed the Chaiten town. The Chaiten town is located downstreams, crossed by the rived bed which was exactly the path followed by the water, mud and ashes. Back then the Chilean government correctly evacuated the inhabitants in time, who were then located at various different temporary shelters and also received financial help afterwords for them to move to other places. Well, last week the Chaiten volcano again woke up. The most interesting thing to see, is the various attitudes, of the people who are involved in this drama. The Chilean government wants to relocate the whole town at a new, safer location, and has stated it will provide the financing required for the people to relocate, at it's own cost. Then it is also interesting to see the division of opinions, among the inhabitants of the destroyed town: many of them just do not want to hear of the latent and actual danger of staying at their original town, in the river bed, and some of them just want to have their new town rebuilt right at the same old place! They just do not want to go to a safer area, or just do not grasp the actual danger. Some of them have declared to be wanting to even die, if so be it. Yet others are trying to get some advantage of the drama.

We have often described the astonishing level of denial we anticipate that mankind will assume going into the pole shift. For each individual who grasps the dangers and take steps to protect themselves and their loved ones, there will be another who will deny that anything is about to happen, or that anything has happened. This will occur even when the Earth has stopped rotating and there can be no doubt that matters are not normal. They may have been deeply dependent upon others, incapable of taking steps on their own. They may be in poor health, or lack skills that would be needed in a survival camp, so that planning to survive seems as risky as a trip to Mars. Denial is a type of insanity, and in many cases those that frankly go insane are not able to take the denial route. These are two faces of the same coin. There are others who will take stock of the situation and determine that they would rather pass on, die, than struggle to make a new life. This is the same as a suicide determination, and in our opinion this is their choice. Those who are in firm denial are most often those who do not have the innate capacity to take survival steps. In any case, these individuals are a burden on those who want to create a survival community.

We people rise in memory of those, who died many years ago defending their fatherland. Do you, Zetas, do the same? I understood, that, for example, without Red Army soldiers that died defending their homes, millions of Jews and Slavonian would have been murdered and so their souls could not develop any more on the Earth. Should we honour one kind of souls because they once gave a chance for other souls to keep developing here ?

Honoring the past is often a way of committing the present to a course of action. It has nothing to do with helping souls develop, as reincarnation exits.

Why do people talk so much about Jesus, forgetting about the rest. Why speak of Israel - The Holy Land. Will be correct - Dead Earth. Why did the Jews regard themselves as super-men, Germans and others pay as fascists? This is hypocrisy.

Those who are insecure cling to religion, or their local football team, or their family name, or their appearance. At base it is insecurity.

Hello everybody out of the house between the streets Engels and Peskovskaya! I have a question: 1) It should be wishing to make contact in person engage in spirits? 2) Is it possible to quickly acquire telepathy, if not ability? 3) How can I make to communicate with the spirits of use of Radio?

Unlike the many claims made, spirits do not use radio or other electronic devices. As we have stated on the ZetaTalk website, only about 10% of humans have any telepathic ability, and even those are mostly limited. You cannot acquire this if you do not have the native ability. Talking soul to soul with others spirits is a skill one cannot teach. You learn to do this by having your first conversation, primarily because some experienced spirit wants to communicate with you.

He's been on the news lately, so it has made me curious, but is Conan O'Brien an old soul? It's just that for years before I ever heard the term STO, I would get this painfully overwhelming feeling of just an unbelievable human being, who like Obama also happens to be obsessed with Abraham Lincoln. He sometimes even has guests who are Lincoln experts, which is very odd for a comedy show. I could go on and on about his obsession with Lincoln. Is he a very old soul who maybe had something to do with Lincoln in the past? (I'm not very fond of celebrities.)

He has a reincarnating soul but is not old in the sense that humans refer to souls as old. He is terran born, and has not even determined his spiritual orientation.

Two things are needed to make a monetary economy go - money supply and velocity. The FED (aka Puppet Master) can affect the money supply by just printing it if necessary. But velocity, the turnover of the money in the economy - is a bit more problematic. With trillions being added to the money supply in the last few months, only a lack of velocity has apparently prevented hyper-inflation - but it is a danger. A complete meltdown in trust of the system can cause this dam to break and all this money would go after goods in order to secure some form of value. In Weimar Germany, there were people with wheelbarrows of money, and people stealing the wheelbarrows and leaving the money on the sidewalk. How do the Zetas see the final course the dollar will take?

We have stated, repeatedly, that the economy will not collapse prior to the pole shift. We have stated that what people will instead find is that the value of their assets will fall. Their home, car, or stocks will have a certain value on paper, but no buyers will be interested. Deflation will at first be the result, is in place already, with hyperinflation occurring only where there are shortages. Certainly this will be the case with food, unless price controls are enacted. The renowned banana republic syndrome only occurs when so much money is printed that all are diluted. The US is a huge economy, and there is a huge amount of dollars worldwide in various accounts. Thus, it will takes a lot of printing press activity to create a banana republic out of the US.

My question is about Burris. Why did he start making statements to contradict himself after he got the senate seat? Was his conscience bothering him and he thought he could slightly redeem himself some how?

Senator Burris was very eager to get into the Senate, and assumed that once in, no steps would be taken to get him out. He has walked a fine line, but the sentiment against the former governor who appointed him is strong. He is not likely to survive, and certainly would not survive reelection.

The Juan de Fuca plate will crumble, as opposed to any action pressing into the N American Plate. However, as it crumbles, it will cause jolts along the West Coast, so this should be expected.

What is the fate of the EU? I have heard of the early breakdown in the EU.

There are advantages and disadvantages to being in the EU, and the advantages will hold during the coming economic downturn. What country would benefit from being separated? The Euro is strong in the markets, comparatively.

Are we at a "6" yet?

We stated at the end of 2008, after a rough December with lots of earthquakes, that we considered the globe to be at a strong 5 or 5+. There will be plateau times, when the Earth changes seem to settle down, and other times when they will seem to be assaulting the Earth. Thus, we are not yet at a 6.

How can you explain to humans the good nature of your actions? How can you convince after all the things that happened with your case, that you are true and without an agenda?

There are those among mankind that smile at you while slipping the knife between your ribs, taking your last dollar with a promise they know is false. How do you determine the honesty and integrity of their actions? It is the ultimate result. And this is for you to determine, in Nancy's case. She has been accused of being a government agent, a tool, but gives no evidence of this. She does not earn money at what she does, regardless of what some might say. Where are the ads on her website, which she personally supports? Her book sales are virtually nil. Her total CD and video sales overall would not fill her oil tank for a month of home heating during the winter. If you choose to believe she is laying out all the information that she does, factual information, showing the patterns that are obvious if one merely looks, and is doing so maliciously, then this is your problem.

I was recently reading about Lincoln's depression and was shocked at how deep and extensive it was. He wrote "I am now the most miserable man living. If what I feel were equally distributed to the whole human family, there would not be one cheerful face on the earth. Whether I shall ever be better I can not tell; I awfully forebode I shall not. To remain as I am is impossible; I must die or be better, it appears to me." It was said he would wander the woods with a gun and appeared to be acting "crazy", and never carried a knife for fear of taking his own life. How can a star seed have such a struggle?

Depression, which he was afflicted with, came with the human body he assumed. Manic Depression is a disease that brings with it great blessings in the form of creativity and an ability to communicate with others, and also brings with it hells in the form of exhaustion and delusion and a desire to end it all in suicide. One takes the bad with the good.

This is valid channeling, not a fraud or a hoax as so many channel claims are. We have often been asked to reconcile every message relayed to mankind with every other message, as well as to reconcile these messages with ZetaTalk. We have declined to do this, and have suggested that mankind read these valid message with an open mind and heart, hearing the overall message, rather than the detail. Each such message involves several factors that may put it out of synch with other valid messages. The spirit behind the channel or communication has a different message to relay from others, different priorities. The spirit may be trying to use an analogy, which can be lost on the human channel or on the humans reading the resulting message. The human may not have the capacity to relay the message fully, lacking vocabulary, for instance. And finally, the transcriber may simply get an idea stuck in their head and transcribe the message differently than intended.

How does one continue to live this double life? It's so hard, there is no purpose to do something that doesn't lead you anywhere. Is it not better to focus on trying to prepare for the future times? Can the zetas say anything at this point in terms of how much more longer we have to live the current "everything is normal" life? I may be wrong, but I think zetas said that the economy would still be functioning (although in a depression) till the poleshift. Do you mean that we would really be living in a depression, but governments all over the world will still be saying all is fine , and everyone will be going about their lives like today?

We stated that the world would be in a depression prior to the pole shift, not when the world would be in the last weeks. It is in a depression now. We have also stated that our projection is the governments of the world will not tell the populace about what is coming until the last weeks are upon them. They may make plans. They may encourage certain behavior such as family gardens. But a full admission that the passage is due and coming is unlikely to occur unless there is some kind of leak, or several leaks, so the truth is out. The reason for this is because the governments of the world do not have a solution for their people. They cannot feed them. They cannot house them. They fear that if an announcement were made, that vital jobs would not be attended, looting and riots would occur, and conclude that this is not better than silence until the last weeks.

Please tell me if the Zeta's know about/believe in the Oneness of All. In other words, do they understand all of us to be aspects of the same one supreme Source? Or do they see the separation we are now experiencing as being a state which continues into the higher dimensions.

We, the Zetas, have stated that we do not know God's plan. What we experience is what you experience. You are a separate individual. Your soul is separate from others, and your human body and mind are separate from others. In fact, this sense of being conscious of yourself as being separate is required for a soul to spark in an intelligent creature. The Chimp is smart and can use logic, but they have not developed to the extent that they understand that they are separate from others. Thus, souls do not spark within them. What you conclude about all of this is up to you. We are stated that we don't know God's plan.

Please tell me if the Zeta's know about/believe in true multidimentionality. In other words do they ascribe to an understanding in which there are many co-existant time-lines.

We, the Zetas, are allowed on occasion to time travel. This is in every case with the approval of the Council of Worlds, and involves only the hybrid program where we might need a bit of DNA from a deceased person. To the extent that the present day timeline continues while we go back to secure the DNA, there are parallel timelines. We have also explained that there are many parallel densities, which some call dimensions. This is physicality vibrating at different rates, as has been explained in the Density section of ZetaTalk. The soul is able to transcent all such differing vibrations, so a soul incarnated in a body in 4th Density can chat with a soul incarnated in a 3th Density body.

Persuant to the previous question, if they do believe in multidimensional existance then would it not be so that there might be many versions of planet earth flowing forth from this one. And many possible outcomes for us. IOW there might be one outcome which is wonderful and peaceful and another which is violent and catastrophic.

I have several questions that would help to prepare for the PS and life afterwards. You mentioned that Earth will lean to the left soon, due to the force of Planet X. In the hour of the PS will the Earth rotate vigorously to the left? If so, and most important, will the strong winds caused by the sudden rotation come from the West or North West? Or from which direction? After the PS how long before the Earth will start rotating again? Can you tell if it will rotate clockwise or anticlockwise as now? Will the existing prevailing winds change?

The lean to the left does not involve windstorms, other than those that might be engendered due to temperature changes. It is an attempt of Earth's N Pole to evade the magnetic press coming from the N Pole of Planet X. Hurricane force winds from the movement of the Earth are only anticipated to occur during the hour of the pole shift itself, when the crust moves 90 degrees within an hour. The direction of these worldwise hurricane force winds can be gauged. For instance, in the N American hemisphere, the winds will come from the NNW because the Bulge of Brazil will be pushed up toward the current location of the N Pole.

The pole shift with 3600 orbital period will be caused by Planet X when it casts the magnetic balance between the Earth and the Sun. Do pole shifts always happen in a same magnetic trimester? So, will the coming pole shift take place in a same magnetic trimester as it was before?

Hurricane's seem to be off to an early start in the US. Will this trend change at all with the wobble? Will we see significant weather changes in the US that you can tell us of?

We have declined to be specific about exactly what weather will occur in what locale, and when. We have given general predictions, however. The wobble will worsen. The wobble causes unexpected winds, more violent winds, and what has been called a looping jet stream. We have stated that the seasons will almost blend into one another by the time the pole shift arrives. This statement alone indicates a lot of unusual atmospheric activity. Beyond such statements, we are not allowed to say!

When our spirit reincarnates, at what time does the spirit take the new body? Is it at fertilization? During the pregnancy? Or at birth?

We have explained, in the Density section where reincarnation discussions are recorded, that the incarnating soul is allowed to be out of body for several months after the birth of a baby before it is forced to incarnate. The soul is in the vicinity, however, getting acquainted with its new family.

Any idea when we'll reach that 6 the zetas thought we would hit by the end of 2008? At least they admitted they made a mistake, though it would be helpful for their credibility when we're out telling people to read zetatalk if they would say upfront "we expect X" instead of "Y will happen on such and such a date".

We have been asked to describe what 2009 will bring, and have declined. You can read into this what you will. We did this for 2008, and make the statement that the pole shift would not occur before Obama took the presidency. No further such revealing statements will be made.

The most noticeable effect of Planet X as seen from Earth seems to be the erratic orbit of Earth's moon. Will the moon encounter more stress during passage than Earth because of its smaller mass? Will the moon survive as Earths satellite? It seems many " moon children " are experiencing above average illnesses and accidents. Is this in part due to the erratic moon?

We have stated that the Moon will hug the Earth during the pole shift, and not be ripped away. We have also stated that the Moon's orbit has become more erratic, more tilted, as Planet X has drawn closer. The Emerging Sunspot Cycle 24 and a Weakening Magnetic Field
What does this mean for our planet and species?

Introduction

If you were thinking that the only things we have to be concerned about include wars, famines, and economic crashes, think again.

New scientific discoveries are indicating that this next solar flare cycle could potentially be powerful enough to distrupt our planet's entire electric grid. In this report, I will document the number of changes taking place with our magnetic field, the sun and our solar system while expaining some of the concerns that today's leading scientists have voiced. I will also be examining how humankind may also be affected energically.

What is Electromagnetic Pollution?

TV, cell phone towers, power lines, and house appliances—while they make lives more convenient for some, they also contribute to polluting our electromagnetic atmosphere. A growing number of scientists, health care professionals, and concerned citizens argue that these invisible frequencies are responsible for a host of various health problems. Meanwhile, the largest polluter has gone unnoticed: the sun. And it's about to fire up again.

Our Plant's Magnetic Field

The magnetosphere is a bubble of magnetism that surrounds Earth and protects us from solar wind. Fortunately, our planet's magnetic field diverts most particles into a circular path around the Earth. Like weather patterns found on Earth, solar wind patterns can change rapidly.

Luckily, our planet's magnetosphere quickly responds to the threat and absorbs the impact, wiggling and jiggling in the process. Geophysicists call this reaction a geomagnetic storm, but because of how it disrupts the Earth's magnetic field, it could also be called electromagnetic pollution. This is when we see the Aurora Borealis in our night skys.

But strange things are happening in both outer and inner space

The Earth's magnetic field has been decreasing. This decrease actually began 2000 years ago, but the rate of decrease suddenly became much more rapid 500 years ago. Now, in the last 20 years or so, the magnetic field has become erratic. Aeronautical maps of the world — which are used to allow airplanes to land using automatic pilot systems — have had to be revised worldwide in order for the automatic pilot systems to work.

Late last year, the Arctic ice cap on the exact spot of the North Pole completely melted for the first time in known history. Green Peace reported that, relative to the winter ice pattern, the cap had previously melted over 300 miles toward the pole, and that late last year both military and civilian ships were able to actually pass directly over the North Pole. It was water. Until now, as far as we know, there has never been a time where the ice was less than ten feet thick. In contrast, the South Pole has an ice cap that is about three miles deep, and yet huge pieces of ice continue to break off and melt.

There is a now a Giant Breach in the Earth's Magnetic Field

NASA's five THEMIS spacecraft have discovered a breach in Earth's magnetic field ten times larger than anything previously thought to exist. When this happens, solar wind can flow in through the opening to "load up" the magnetosphere for powerful geomagnetic storms. Exploring the mystery is a key goal of the THEMIS mission, launched in February 2007.

The big discovery came on June 3, 2007, when the five probes serendipitously flew through the breach just as it was opening. Onboard sensors recorded a torrent of solar wind particles streaming into the magnetosphere, signaling an event of unexpected size and importance. But the breach itself is not the biggest surprise. Researchers are even more amazed and baffled at the unexpected way it forms, overturning long-held ideas of space physics.

"At first I didn't believe it," says THEMIS project scientist David Sibeck of the Goddard Space Flight Center. "This finding fundamentally alters our understanding of the solar wind-magnetosphere interaction." "The opening was huge—four times wider than Earth itself," says Wenhui Li, a space physicist at the University of New Hampshire who has been analyzing the data. Li's colleague Jimmy Raeder, also of New Hampshire, says "1027 particles per second were flowing into the magnetosphere—that's a 1 followed by 27 zeros. This kind of influx is an order of magnitude greater than what we thought was possible."

Scientists Surprised

The size of the breach shocked researchers. "We've seen things like this before," says Li's colleague Jimmy Raeder, "but never on such a large scale. The entire day-side of the magnetosphere was open to the solar wind.

This is changing our understanding of the universe. Space physicists have long believed that holes in Earth's magnetosphere open only in response to solar magnetic fields that point south. The great breach of June 2007, however, opened in response to a solar magnetic field that pointed north.

To the lay person, this may sound like a quibble, but to a space physicist, it is almost seismic. It means that something is happening out there that they didn't predict and that is what has them frightened.

Unexpected Shield Drop

Here is where the scientific understanding our how magnetic field is changing: What is understood today in the scientific community is that the solar wind presses against the Earth's magnetosphere almost directly above the equator where our planet's magnetic field points north. Scientists previously believed that if a bundle of solar magnetism came along, and points north, too, the two fields should reinforce one another strengthening Earth's magnetic defenses and slamming the door shut on the solar wind. In the language of space physics, a north-pointing solar magnetic field is called a "northern IMF" and it is synonymous with shields up.

The big suprise is that when a northern IMF came along, the shields went down. This is completely overturning many scientists understanding of things. As Researchers investigated the tear in the magnetic field, they discovered that twenty times more solar wind passed into the Earth's protective shield when the magnetic fields were aligned. Northern IMF events don't actually trigger geomagnetic storms, notes Raeder, but they do set the stage for storms by loading the magnetosphere with plasma. A loaded magnetosphere is primed for auroras, power outages, and other disturbances that can result when a CME (coronal mass ejection) hits.

This means the impact of sloar flares are twenty times as strong with the magnetic lines are aligned. Earth's and the sun's magnetic fields will be in sync at the solar cycle's peak, expected in 2012. This will cause an influx of solar particles. What the scientists didn’t discuss is the impact on the human bioelectrical system.

The earth's magnetic field impacts climate

The earth's climate has been significantly affected by the planet's magnetic field, according to a Danish study published in January 2009 that could challenge the notion that human emissions are responsible for global warming.

"Our results show a strong correlation between the strength of the earth's magnetic field and the amount of precipitation in the tropics," one of the two Danish geophysicists behind the study, Mads Faurschou Knudsen of the geology department at Aarhus University in western Denmark, told the Videnskab journal.

The results of the study, which has also been published in US scientific journal Geology, lend support to a controversial theory published a decade ago by Danish astrophysicist Henrik Svensmark, who claimed the climate was highly influenced by galactic cosmic ray (GCR) particles penetrating the earth's atmosphere.

What Drives Earth's Magnetic Field?

When an electric current passes through a metal wire, a magnetic field forms around that wire Likewise, a wire passing through a magnetic field creates an electric current within the wire. This is the basic principle that allows electric motors and generators to operate.

In the Earth, the liquid metal that makes up the outer core passes through a magnetic field, which causes an electric current to flow within the liquid metal. The electric current, in turn, creates its own magnetic field—one that is stronger than the field that created it in the first place.

As liquid metal passes through the stronger field, more current flows, which increases the field still further. This self-sustaining loop is known as the geomagnetic dynamo. Material from the liquid outer core slowly "freezes" onto the inner core, releasing heat as it does so. (High pressures within the Earth cause material to freeze at high temperatures.) This heat drives convection cells within the liquid core, which keeps the liquid metal moving through the magnetic field.

Energy is needed to keep the dynamo running. This energy comes from the release of heat from the surface of the solid inner core. Our planet's spinning motion causes the moving liquid metal to spiral, in a way similar to how it affects weather systems on the Earth's surface. These spiraling eddies allow separate magnetic fields to align and combine forces.

Without the effects caused by the spinning Earth, the magnetic fields generated within the liquid core would cancel one another out and result in no distinct north or south magnetic poles.

Rapid changes in the churning movement of Earth's liquid outer core are weakening the magnetic field in some regions of the planet's surface, a new study says

"What is so surprising is that rapid, almost sudden, changes take place in the Earth's magnetic field," said study co-author Nils Olsen, a geophysicist at the Danish National Space Center in Copenhagen.

The findings suggest similarly quick changes are simultaneously occurring in the liquid metal, 1,900 miles (3,000 kilometers) below the surface, he said. Fluctuations in the magnetic field have occurred in several far-flung regions of Earth, the researchers found.

The changes "may suggest the possibility of an upcoming reversal of the geomagnetic field," said study co-author Mioara Mandea, a scientist at the German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam. Earth's magnetic field has reversed hundreds of times over the past billion years, and the process could take thousands of years to complete.

The decline in the magnetic field also is opening Earth's upper atmosphere to intense charged particle radiation, scientists say.

Cosmic Rays are slamming Earth

An international team of researchers has discovered a puzzling surplus of high-energy electrons bombarding Earth from space. The source of these cosmic rays is unknown, but it must be close to the solar system and it could be made of dark matter. Their results are being reported in the Nov. 20th issue of the journal Nature.

"This is a big discovery," says co-author John Wefel of Louisiana State University. "It's the first time we've seen a discrete source of accelerated cosmic rays standing out from the general galactic background." To study the most powerful and interesting cosmic rays, Wefel and colleagues have spent the last eight years flying a series of balloons through the stratosphere over Antarctica.

Their NASA-funded cosmic ray detector found an significant surplus of high-energy electrons. "The source of these exotic electrons must be relatively close to the solar system—no more than a kiloparsec away," says co-author Jim Adams of the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. Galactic cosmic rays are subatomic particles accelerated to almost light speed by distant supernova explosions and other violent events. They swarm through the Milky Way, forming a haze of high energy particles that enter the solar system from all directions.

Cosmic rays consist mostly of protons and heavier atomic nuclei with a dash of electrons and photons spicing the mix. Why must the source be nearby? Adams explains: "High-energy electrons lose energy rapidly as they fly through the galaxy.

They give up energy in two main ways: (1) when they collide with lower-energy photons, a process called inverse Compton scattering, and (2) when they radiate away some of their energy by spiraling through the galaxy's magnetic field." High-energy electrons are therefore local but the researches cannot pinpoint the source in the sky.

The Sun

The sun is a massive electromagnetic broadcaster which floods the planets of the solar system with heat, light, UV radiation, and electrically charged particles. The Sun itself has a magnetic field, and that magnetic field creates an "egg" around the Solar System that is known as the "heliosphere." The heliosphere is shaped like a teardrop, with the long, thin end of the drop pointing away from the direction in which we're traveling.

The Sun is the center of our Solar System, and all life that is on this Earth came from the Sun. If there were no Sun, we would not be alive. This is simply scientific fact. And so any changes that occur in or on the Sun will eventually affect every person alive. The solar activity during this last sunspot cycle was greater than anything ever seen before.

The Sun's magnetic field has changed in the last 100 years

One recent study by Dr. Mike Lockwood from Rutherford Appleton National Laboratories in California has been investigating the Sun activity for the last hundred years. He reports that since 1901 the overall magnetic field of the Sun has become stronger by 230 percent. Scientists do not understand what that means for us.

Some of the sunspot activity in this last cycle was greater than anything ever recorded before in history. But scientists claim that they don't understand what means either. "Obviously, the sun is Earth's life blood," said Richard Fisher, director of the Heliophysics division at NASA. "To mitigate possible public safety issues, it is vital that we better understand extreme space weather events caused by the sun's activity."

According to NASA, it is beginning another 11-year cycle of activity

The Sun flips its Magnetic Poles every eleven years. Considering that the Sun is to blame for some unfavorable climate changes on the Earth, the coming decade could spell more trouble for our planet. The years ahead could be intense.

Raeder explains: "We're entering Solar Cycle 24. For reasons not fully understood, CMEs in even-numbered solar cycles (like 24) tend to hit Earth with a leading edge that is magnetized north. Such a CME (coronal mass ejection) should open a breach and load the magnetosphere with plasma just before the storm gets underway. It's the perfect sequence for a really big event."

Every 10–11 years, the number of sunspots found on our closest star rise from 0 (as it is currently in 2008) to a high of over 400. While the sunspots themselves don't affect Earth, the solar flares and other disturbances emanating from our sun during increased sunspot activity result in an increased number of particles (electrons and protons) and harmful light radiation (ultraviolet and x-rays), known as solar wind. If it weren't for Earth's protective magnetic field and atmosphere, this bombardment of particles would burn us to a crisp.

Sunspot Cycle 24 peaking around 2012 could be one of the strongest in centuries

The next sunspot cycle will be 30-50% stronger than the last one and begin as much as a year late, according to a breakthrough forecast using a computer model of solar dynamics developed by scientists at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Predicting the Sun's cycles accurately, years in advance, will help societies plan for active bouts of solar storms, which can slow satellite orbits, disrupt communications, and bring down power systems.

The scientists have confidence in the forecast because, in a series of test runs, the newly developed model simulated the strength of the past eight solar cycles with more than 98% accuracy. The forecasts are generated, in part, by tracking the subsurface movements of the sunspot remnants of the previous two solar cycles. The team is publishing its forecast in the current issue of Geophysical Research Letters.

Solar Cycle 25 peaking around 2022 could be one of the weakest in centuries

The Great Conveyor Belt is a massive circulating current of fire (hot plasma) within the Sun. It has two branches, north and south, each taking about 40 years to perform one complete circuit. Researchers believe the turning of the belt controls the sunspot cycle, and that's why the slowdown is important.

"Normally, the conveyor belt moves about 1 meter per second—walking pace," says Hathaway. "That's how it has been since the late 19th century." In recent years, however, the belt has decelerated to 0.75 m/s in the north and 0.35 m/s in the south. "We've never seen speeds so low."

According to theory and observation, the speed of the belt foretells the intensity of sunspot activity ~20 years in the future. A slow belt means lower solar activity; a fast belt means stronger activity. "The slowdown we see now means that Solar Cycle 25, peaking around the year 2022, could be one of the weakest in centuries," says Hathaway.

History of measuring solar flare activity

The first measuring instruments made their appearance 440 years ago. They showed that our nearest star treats the Earth to more than just solar eclipses. Sunspots, solar flares, faculae and other phenomena affect everything on the Earth: from atmospheric events to human behavior. These phenomena are known collectively as solar activity. This activity, expressing itself through bursts of solar radiation, magnetic storms or fiery flares, can vary in intensity, from very low to very strong. It is the storms that pose the greatest danger to civilization.

History of solar activity affecting the grid

On August 28, 1859, polar lights glowed and shimmered all over the American continent as darkness fell. Many people thought their city was aflame. The instruments used to record this magnetic fluctuation across the world went off their scales. Telegraph systems malfunctioned, hit by a massive surge in voltage. It was perhaps the worst in the past 200 years and with the advent of modern power grids and satellites, much more is at risk.

This was an actual solar storm. Its results for humankind were small, because civilization had not yet entered a hi-tech phase of development. Had something similar happen in our nuclear space age, destruction would have been catastrophic. Meanwhile, according to scientific data, storms of such size occur relatively seldom: once in five centuries. But events with half the intensity happen every 50 years.

The last one took place on November 13, 1960 and disturbed the Earth's geomagnetic fields, upsetting the operation of radio stations.

How this could impact our grid today

Now our dependence on radio electronic devices is so immense that increased solar activity could disable life-support systems all over the world, and not only on the surface. Poor space weather makes all orbital systems malfunction. A heavy solar storm can cause disruption to space-based navigation systems.

NASA is now sounding an alarm because our continent is so close to the northern magnetic pole and is the most vulnerable to solar activity. A study by the MetaTech Corporation revealed that an impact similar to that of 1859 would incapacitate the entire electricity grid in North America. Even the relatively weak magnetic storm of 1989, provoked by solar activity, caused an accident at a Canadian hydro-electric power plant that left 6 million people in the U.S. and Canada without electric power for nine hours.

A new study from the National Academy of Sciences also outlines grim possibilities on Earth for a worst-case scenario solar storm. Modern power grids are so interconnected that a big space storm — the type expected to occur about once a century — could cause a cascade of failures that would sweep across the United States, cutting power to 130 million people or more in this country alone, the new report concludes. Such widespread power outages, though expected to be a rare possibility, would affect other vital systems.

"Impacts would be felt on interdependent infrastructures with, for example, potable water distribution affected within several hours; perishable foods and medications lost in 12-24 hours; immediate or eventual loss of heating/air conditioning, sewage disposal, phone service, transportation, fuel resupply and so on," the report states.

Outages could take months to fix, the researchers say. Banks might close, and trade with other countries might halt. "Emergency services would be strained, and command and control might be lost," write the researchers, led by Daniel Baker, director of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Could cycles of war and peace be tied to cycles of the sun?

Some researchers claim that geomagnetic storms affect brain waves and hormone levels, causing a number of different reactions, predominately in males. While a few women may also experience changes during these storms, they generally seem less affected by the sun's behavior. Reacting to changing hormone levels, some men may become increasingly irritable and aggressive, while others may instead become more creative.

An increase in solar activity is found to increase psychotic episodes in individuals who already suffer from unstable psychological states. While we might relate such behavior to a full moon, in 1963, Dr. Robert Becker and his colleague, Dr.Freedman, demonstrated that solar changes also lead to a noticeable increase in psychotic activity. Yet these reactions are not simply isolated to a few particularly sensitive or unlucky individuals.

Evidence indicates that wars and international conflicts most often break out when sunspots are rapidly forming or rapidly decaying, as these are times when there are more intense geomagnetic storms. In addition, this increase in solar activity also correlates to periods of more accidents and illness, as well as an increase of crimes and murders. The entire biosphere is affected by this electromagnetic pollution, and human behavior seems to react accordingly.

Not all geomagnetic storms are disruptive. But over time, these extremes in solar activity may also affect periods of earthly conflict. The data on cycles of war and peace extend back at least 2,500 years. (Some believe that they may be traced even further, but the records are not as reliable.) Although some may argue that it seems as if there is always war somewhere, records show that periods of conflict increase and decrease in nearly regular cycles.

Scientific Investigations into solar activity and a possible effect on society

As early as 1915, some scientists were beginning to recognize connections between solar activity and human behavior. This work began with Russian scientist Alexander Chizhevsky, who observed that mass changes in human behavior correlated to sunspot cycles.

In the 1930s, Professor Raymond Wheeler, a historian at the University of Kansas, took this observation one step further. His research afforded numerical rankings to the severity of individual battles correlating to solar cycles. His data was statistically analyzed by Edward Dewey, who validated the existence of these war cycles. Yet he was unable to make a definite connection with sunspot cycles because the data at that time was insufficient. In the 1980s, with a more detailed analysis of Wheeler's data, the connection became clear.

Upon close examination of the data, It appears that we are beginning to discover a pattern to emerge where wars are most likely to start in key points of the sunspot cycle

This is when the geomagnetic activity is changing most rapidly on the upsurge of solar activity, or the downward part of the cycle, when sunspots are rapidly diminishing. In addition we can also see how this affects physiological mechanisms, such as altered brain rhythms and abnormal hormonal levels.

In other words, wars could be a kind of mass psychosis. When we see the connection to physical mechanisms (electromagnetic pollution), this gives us some predictive insight for when increased aggressions were apt to start. Calculations indicate that we're due to see another rise in intense solar activity in about two years: September 22, 2010. NASA predicts that this will peak in 2012.

Animals can detect changes in the Earth's magnetic field

The internal compasses of some animals might work by detecting minute changes in the pace of biochemical reactions in different magnetic fields, researchers in the US suggested in June 2000.

Many creatures, including some birds, amphibians and reptiles, navigate by sensing tiny changes in the Earth's magnetic field. Sea turtles, for instance, can sense changes as small as a tenth of a microtesla—less than 0.2 per cent of the typical geomagnetic field.

But nobody knows exactly how these biological compasses work. One theory is that the magnetite molecules found in some tissues act just like miniature compass needles. Another is that animals sense changes in biochemical reaction rates caused by differing magnetic fields, which are known to alter the pace of a wide range of chemical reactions.

Studies in Russia

Some Russian scientists say that these same changes taking place now within our solar system and planet were occurring when the dinosaurs became extinct — a time that marked a gigantic shift in the earth's climate and weather patterns, and perhaps a pole shift, as well. Our planet hasn't flipped its Magnetic Poles in 780,000 years and may be long overdue.

Scientists from the Russian National Academy of Science in Siberia have come to the conclusion that we have moved into an area of space that is different and has a much higher energy level. The Russians are reporting changes that are being recorded in space that have never been seen before. The Russians have looked at the leading edge of our sun's heliosphere and they have observed glowing, plasma energy.

The Russian National Academy of Sciences doesn't give us a time-line, but the change from what was known and accepted to the way it is now represents a 1000 percent increase. And the Russians say that this change in the Sun is changing how the planets function and what kind of life they could support. They even report — but don't explain — that the DNA spiral itself is altering.

They feel that the continued expansion of the heliosphere will eventually take us into a new level of energy, that there will probably be a sudden expansion of the basic harmonic wavelengths that the Sun emits as it radiates energy out of itself, and that this increase in energy emission will change the basic nature of all matter in the Solar System.

Sun's protective 'bubble' is shrinking

New data has revealed that the heliosphere, the protective shield of energy that surrounds our solar system, has weakened by 25 per cent over the past decade and is now at it lowest level since the space race began 50 years ago.

Scientists are baffled at what could be causing the barrier to shrink in this way and are to launch mission to study the heliosphere. Dr Nathan Schwadron, co-investigator on the IBEX mission at Boston University, said: "Around 90 per cent of the galactic cosmic radiation is deflected by our heliosphere, so the boundary protects us from this harsh galactic environment."

The heliosphere is created by the solar wind, a combination of electrically charged particles and magnetic fields that emanate a more than a million miles an hour from the sun, meet the intergalactic gas that fills the gaps in space between solar systems. Without the heliosphere the harmful intergalactic cosmic radiation would make life on Earth almost impossible by destroying DNA and making the climate uninhabitable.

If the heliosphere continues to weaken, scientists fear that the amount of cosmic radiation reaching the inner parts of our solar system, including Earth, will increase. This could result in growing levels of disruption to electrical equipment, damage satellites and potentially even harm life on Earth.

Sun Blamed for Warming of Earth and Other Worlds

It has also been postulated that this is the real reason for both global warming since higher energy levels of the Milky Way are almost certain to cause our Sun to burn hotter and emit higher energies. This is why other planets in the solar system, like Mars, Neptune, and Pluto are also warming up. Temperatures have been seen to rise on virtually all the planets in our system. This seems quite apart from any local phenomenon like greenhouse gases etc.

Habibullo Abdussamatov, the head of space research at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, recently linked the attenuation of ice caps on Mars to fluctuations in the sun's output. Abdussamatov also blamed solar fluctuations for Earth’s current global warming trend. His initial comments were published online by National Geographic News.

Benny Peiser, a social anthropologist at Liverpool John Moores University who monitors studies and news reports of asteroids, global warming and other potentially apocalyptic topics, recently quoted in his daily electronic newsletter the following from a blog called Strata-Sphere: “Global warming on Neptune's moon Triton as well as Jupiter and Pluto, and now Mars has some [scientists] scratching their heads over what could possibly be in common with the warming of all these planets ... Could there be something in common with all the planets in our solar system that might cause them all to warm at the same time?”

During a 75-year period beginning in 1645, astronomers detected almost no sunspot activity on the Sun. Called the “Maunder Minimum,” this event coincided with the coldest part of the Little Ice Age, a 350-year cold spell that gripped much of Europe and North America.

New Studies Indicate how sounds from the sun affect earthquakes on earth

Scientists from the European Space Agency's Ulysses mission have proven that sounds generated deep inside the Sun cause the Earth to shake and vibrate in sympathy. They have found that Earth’s magnetic field, atmosphere and terrestrial systems, all take part in this cosmic sing-along.

Although these tones are all around us, it would not be possible for us to hear them, even if we listened very closely. Their pitch is too low for the human ear, typically 100-5000 microHertz (1 microHertz corresponds to 1 vibration every 278 hours).

The scientists say data from the Ulysses project provided an important clue as to how these sounds generated deep inside the Sun reach the Earth. Measurements made by the Ulysses deep space probe, which was launched in 1990 to orbit the sun, have shown that the pressure created inside the heliosphere by the solar wind has been decreasing.

Here's How it Works

The Researchers believe that the key to the problem is magnetism. They suggests that specific tones described as g-mode vibrations are picked up by the magnetic field at the Sun’s surface. Part of this magnetic field is then carried away from Sun into interplanetary space by solar wind. The magnetic field of the solar wind in turn interacts with the Earth’s magnetic field and causes it to vibrate in sympathy, retaining the characteristic g-mode signals.

The motions of the geomagnetic field then couple into the solid Earth to produce small, but easily detectable, responses as Earth, with many of its technological systems, moves to the rhythm of the Sun.

The Solar System

The atmospheres of five of the planets and the Earth's moon are changing. The earth's atmosphere in the upper levels is forming HO gas that didn't exist in the quantity that it does now. The Scientists from the Russian National Academy of Science say it's not related to global warming, CFCs or fluorocarbon emissions. They claim the atmospheres of Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune are also are changing. The Martian atmosphere is getting sizably thicker than it was before.

The Mars Observer probe in 1997 lost one of its mirrors, which caused it to crash. This happened because the atmosphere was about twice as dense as NASA had calculated.

The brightness and magnetic field of the planets is changing

Venus is showing marked increases in its overall brightness. Jupiter's energetic charge has risen so high that there is actually a visible tube of ionizing radiation that's formed between the surface of Jupiter and its moon Io. You can actually see the luminous energy tube in photographs that have been taken recently.

Uranus and Neptune also are becoming brighter. The magnetic fields of Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune are changing. Jupiter's magnetic field has more than doubled and Neptune's magnetic field is increasing. All three of these planets are becoming brighter, and their atmospheric qualities, say the Russians, are changing — but they do not explain what is meant by this.

The Russians report that Uranus and Neptune appear to have had recent pole shifts. When the Voyager II space probe flew past Uranus and Neptune, the apparent north and south magnetic poles were sizably offset from where the rotational pole was in earlier recordings. In one case, it was 50 degrees off, and in the other case the difference was around 40 degrees.

What Is Going On?

Since 1900 we have gone from riding horses to launching satellites into space. From sending letters by horseback to firing them off with instantaneous email, cell phones, and faxes. On the other hand, we have gone from warring with primitive weapons to atomic bombs and bioterrorism.

And perhaps even more significantly, in 1900 the Earth had 30 million species, species which took billions of years to create. Now, we have less than half that number — fewer than 15 million species. And this all happened in 100 years: a geological blink of an eye. Disturbingly, we may be at the bring of World War Three following an economic crash of the world economy.

This new information about the changes in our solar system comes at an interesting time for our planet. It could be possible that for some time celestial events may have been playing their part in shaping our way of life on the planet, and that these changes that we are now seeing with our sun, magnetic field, and solar system may be the very thing that changes our world as we know it into something new.

Only time will tell, but it appears that the future may already be here....

New "Swarm of Earthquakes" in Yellowstone
For those that follow and study earthquakes and volcanoes - this has surely got to be the question of the day: Is the super volcano at Yellowstone Park becoming active? Is the old man about to get out of his chair and give us a worldwide show?

"CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP)Scientists are closely monitoring more than 250 small earthquakes that have occurred in Yellowstone National Park since Friday. Swarms of small earthquakes happen frequently in Yellowstone. But Robert Smith, a professor of geophysics at the University of Utah, says it's very unusual to have so many over several days.

The largest tremor was Saturday and measured magnitude 3.8.

Smith says it's hard to say what might be causing the tremors but notes that Yellowstone is very geologically active. An active volcano there last erupted 70,000 years ago."

The interest in super volcanoes and earthquakes has been spiked (pardon the pun) by this unusual swarm of earthquakes in Yellowstone over the last few days. Although earthquakes in the park are NOT unusual and there have been swarms before, this particular swarm has the scientists concerned enough to be keeping a close eye on it.

The location of the earthquakes is right where a huge "bulge" was found under Yellowstone lake a few years back that caused much speculation. The " bulge" under the lake is estimated to be 100 ft. tall at some points, and the reason for the massive bulge is yet unclear. Is it building in anticipation of pressure below? Has it been there alot longer then we realize? There are many unanswered questions that have scientists scrambling to find out answers.
