- Who works for Pakistan?
-
Just a forwad mail, it has been on internet for almost 3-4 years (as far as I know).
------------
WHO WORKS FOR PAKISTAN??
The population of our country is estimated as 140 million.
30 million are retired. That leaves 110 million to do the work.
There are 40 million in school/college/universities, which leaves 70 million to do the work.
Of this, there are 10 million employed by the federal government, leaving 60 million to do the work(as you know, gov. employees don't believe in working).
20 million are in labour union, which leaves 40 million to do the work.
10 million people work for the provincial government(they also don't work) and that leaves 30 million to do the work.
Total unemployed are 20 million. That leaves 10 million to do the work.
At any given time there are 6 million people in hospitals leaving behind 400,000 to do the work.
Presently there are 3,99,998 people in prison.
That leaves just two people to do the work, you and me!!! and currently you are sitting at your computer
reading this mail. So I am the only person in Pakistan who is working !!!
And thats why our country is surviving!!!
Now log out and do ur job, I am tired and want to take rest. And do not want our country to suffer
because of YOU!!!!!
- Day 2
-
Yesterday somewhere around 12 in noon, PTCL said that they are in mid-sea and have finally found the problem and it will be fixed within an hour or two. Problem was not resolved and we were unable to contact them again. Then later in 9pm news, they said that it will be fixed by 7am next morning.
It's 10:30 am and it's still not fixed....
- All contacts from outside worlds are borken!
-
Pakistan's undersea lines that connect us from 'outside' world have been down due to some problem since yesterday evening, this means that all ISPs and all internet services are also down (So, how am I writing this? This is just one more reason why I like working in an ISP ;)). PTCL (Pakistan Telecom Company) is working on it at the moment but they haven't yet told anyone what's the problem and how long it will take them to solve it.
Let's hope they will fix it soon...
