Today Iv'e bought a magazine called Speak up, this is a Spanish magazine that combines fun articles, some with more complex vocabulary, and others really easy to understand.

The most interesting part of this magazine is that it comes with a companion CD. This CD includes tips to study and complement the learning process. Reading is another of the most important skills that I need to improve in order to reach my goal.

Scanning, skimming, and summarizing are useful techniques that will help us to develop this skill. The best way to attack a weakness is practice, practice and more practice. So, as a phoenix I hope to raise from the ash and grow.

Besides the magazines I've enrolled into a virtual English course, this is a special program in my country that give me the chance to develop homework's and study a grammar topic. I hope do all my tasks on time and well.

Some of the secrets of the writing part in the IELTS exam is develop the skill of write more than 25o words in less than 40 minutes. If you choose the academic exam, you should write two articles. The first is comment a graph or a chart, in about 20 minutes, you must write at least 150 words, using some special terms to describe accurately a behavior. For example, if a bar in a chart grows, should be accurate write "a steady rising". The opposite, may be "a decrease" or "dramatically fall". All of this versus the time.

And time is one of the most important things in this exam. Because of the essay (second writing part) requires more words (250), it will give you the chance to acquire more points at the end. Therefore, should be a good idea start doing this and finish the "short one", just in case of need more time, you will sacrifice the part that gives you less score.

In general, the point here is develop the skill of communicate ideas, in a coherent way, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs, giving a point of view contrasting and comparing facts, and ending the paragraph with a consistent conclusion.

I realized that writing the most of you can, it can help you with the grammar, vocabulary and also it can help you to develop the skill to speak in a more sophisticated way. From now, until January, I'll write about something, and I'll do it better each time. My goal is improve the vocabulary, grammar and coherence.

To write this article, I need about 15 minutes and the amount of words that I wrote was more than 270.

Today is the most sad day of my life. I've took the IELTS results and the final score was so low. It was no surprise because the exam was hard, I mean, it's necessary to study and practice al skills, even should be better contract a personal trainer. Anyway. From now until january I will get my second chace to take the revenge. This story is just... starting
