Master tardy coughs up another blog entry related to adsense.... Just finished re-working my radio control car site (www.minutesofthunder.com ) the week after Christmas. Separated the articles into their own directory, added a generic main page with links to the appropriate stuff and installed CARP to pull forum posts out of another RC site to provide constantly updated content on the main page.

The changes seem to be working so far as my Click Through Ratio for all sites has increased to 14.41 % and I seem to be getting a little more traffic.... we'll see how things look at the end of the month...

Arghhhhh!!!  Keeping the blog going is tough, cuz I infrequently remember to do it. However...

As far as Adsense goes, August really sucked!!! 760 impressions, 24 clicks, $3.22  income.

My stats summary :

Impressions :     82  ->  209  ->  411  ->  604 -> 654 -> 760

CTR  :  0 ->  2.39  ->  3.41  ->  4.4 -> 7% -> 3.1%

Earnings :  0  ->  1.41 ->  2.57 -> 8.54 -> 16.31 -> 3.21

Month :  March -> April -> May -> June -> July -> August

$ Multiple  ->  0  ->  1 ->   1.82 -> 3.32  -> 1.909 ->  -5.08

I Multiple  ->  1  ->  2.54 ->  1.96 -> 1.47 -> 1.08 -> 1.16

So my traffic went up a bit but my income severely deviated from very nice trend from the previous months.  Perhaps all the surfers I was targeting with my websites weren't interested in clicking advertising links in August.  I guess September will give some indication ...

So I just about doubled the earnings with basically the same number of impressions. I think that's kinda weird, don't you?  It also tells me I have to do some other things to boost traffic to the sites.... looks like I'll have to do some article writing and posting and see how that works.

Still working on www.acne-eraser.com , haven't quite got it right yet. I've also started on a direct marketing site called www.direct-response-marketing.com which I have high hopes for.

Just a quick note that the earnings trend is continuing, with most of the contribution from the original sites. Now have almost doubled the June numbers, sitting at 16.21 in earnings for the month of July.
