I want to encourage those of a conscious mind & body to BOYCOTT ticket sales of R. Kelly (THE PIED PIPER..... or RRRRRRaahhh ).
Starting February 11, 2006, Ticket for the R. Kelly
"LIGHT IT UP TOUR" went on sale at a venue in a city near you kicking off the tour starting Thu 03/09/06 through Sat 04/29/06 across America.
The purpose of the BOYCOTT is to let it be known that not all of us of the BLACK CONSENSUS do not approve of the actions of R&B
singer, R. Kelly, molesting under-aged little girls and urinating on them
in the process. I know that most people, particularly those in the Black
community, have buried their heads in the sand on this issue because of
their being in love with R. Kelly as a musician. As conservative talk show
host, Bill O’Reilly, stated on one of his shows three years ago,
"America
should stop rewarding those who behave badly in society."
I believe paying money to attend an R. Kelly concert or to purchase a CD is, in a sense,
rewarding him for being sick or behaving badly.
Granted, people have the right to support whomever they want, especially
when they believe issue does not affect them directly. However, right is
right and wrong is wrong. I think R. Kelly is a pedophile that needs to
seek the help of a therapist for his sickness. He needs to be told by us,
the public, that what he has done, and probably continues to do with other
under aged girls is not an acceptable behavior. I think he is a genius at what
he does musically. However, having sex with under aged girls, urinating on
them and, video taping this sickness, ......Is not cool at all?
Some people have even responded to this issue concerning this situation by saying, "
R. Kelly has only been accused of having sex with the little girl and urinating on her. Besides, he has not been found guilty by a court of law."
Or
"How does we know that it is really he on the tape?" The people who
usually responded to this issue in this manner... are the ones who have probably seen the video tape and went into deep denial because they just can’t bring themselves to accept that the self-proclaimed Pied Piper of RnB has a
problem with having sex with under-aged girls and living out his sickly
sexual fantasies through them.
Remember Aaliyah?
She was only 15 when he secretly married her. Remember the under-aged back-up dancer ? At one of his shows, back in the day, he was accused of sexual harassment, but the case was settled out of court? Now, we have the 14- year old and only God knows the possible countless others who he did not video tape him having deviant sex with. People, in case you have not noticed, this is called a pattern. I know we all have frailities living in this sick society but, Mr. Kelly is an adult and can pretty much tell at this point that he is doing wrong and has the means to seek proffesional help.
I, will be there in force Protesting at the venue near me on regardless of what other people think about this situation. My consciousness won’t allow me to be present .Your presence is only an invitation to BOYCOTT & PROTEST, it’s not a requirement. I know that the most un-popular battles and wars are usually fought by only a few. I am perfectly happy with the fact that, more than likely, I will be standing alone in numbers on this one. It won’t be the first time. I was out there two years ago and I will continue to protest and boycott this pervert until the message has become loud and clear, "Molesting 14 -year-old girls is not accepted in THE BLACK COMMUNITIES, R. Kelly!"...Post your blog and rep your city and tell me what you think....."It's time to weigh in"
