Lose WYSIWIG editor data with back and forward
The WYSIWIG editor for blogs and other styled text entry is very nice, however, if you use the browser to go backwards or forwards (say to get a URL for a link, or refer to another page) when you come back to the WYSIWIG editor the data is gone. I am using Firefox on the PC, but I also tested this on Internet Explorer and the same bug exists there as well. This has also happened to me once or twice when I went to a different Firefox tab, however, I've not been able to reproduce it.

Sanity Check on Dates Needed
A colleague noted that I accidently entered the wrong thing for a location that I formerly lived it. It says 'From 1991 to 1988'. There should be a sanity check that prevents dates from being backwards.

Embedding Pictures in Blog Entries
I'm told that you can embed pictures when you use the "View HTML Source" button when posting blog entries. However, there is a trick -- you have to remember to specify the size (width= height=), and that size must smaller than the size of a blog entry.

Here is a test: Image

Note that there is still the bug in the HTML editor where that you shouldn't use quotes when entering tag properties, i.e. use src=picture.html rather then src="picture.html". What you'll find is that when you save the proper quotes will be added if you go edit your blog post again.

I also note that you can't enter in style property for an image tag. If you try entering style=float:right; it get's stripped out.

No notification about Comments?
I don't seem to be notified when someone comments on one of my blog entries. There doesn't seem to be anything on the "My Blog" page, nor am I receiving emails. Instead, I just have to browse through my old entries to find out if someone commented. Am I missing it someplace?

Testing Images and Links
Testing to see if this images can put into the HTML when you select the "View HTML Source" button. (Nope, they can't -- the html is purged of img tags.)
 • Are unsorted lists allowed?
 • Yes.

How about rel tags added to links, for instance a nofollow tag as per Google Blog: Preventing Comment Spam.
Hmm, sort of. The rel="nofollow" is turned into rel="\"nofollow""

Trying again without quotes: Google Blog: Preventing Comment Spam

Weird, if you enter rel=nofollow in html mode, the next time you edit it will be turned into rel="nofollow".

I wonder what other tags are killed like the img tag?
 • Unordered lists, list items work
 • blockquote works
 • i is turn into em
