Here is the life of a gay man who lives in Atlanta with his partner and likes to get naked. He also loves his puppies!
What a great wedding and honeymoon! I could not have asked for anything better.
It is good to be home though. I missed my bed and the puppies. I even missed my internet connection.
I can’t believe I took over 500 photos of the entire thing. The job now is going through them and getting the organized.
We have family in town now (Dave’s parents and my cousin) and will have more arrive on Friday. Looks like the reception here in Atlanta on Saturday will be fun.
Playing catch-up at work can be difficult, but I have made a huge dent in that, so it should be everything back to normal on Monday. I am actually looking forward to that.
Thought I would share a picture with you of the honeymoon.
We about to leave our room at the Jupiter Hotel (see picture above) shortly and begin the traveling up through Yakima and into Bellevue. While today will still include more wine tastings we will also get to see the Columbia River George and some cool waterfalls.
Last night, our last in Portland, we hit a few of the gay bars around the city. We spent some time at Scandal’s, Boxxes, C.C. Slaughter’s, and then naked pool at the Eagle. Being a Thursday evening and we were tired by midnight, it was a quiet evening.
I can’t wait to share more of the pictures I have collected, including some naked in the Redwood Forest, naked in the vineyard, Dave and I naked in the hotel bed together. Just need some time, like the plane ride back home to organize and name them all.
Thanks again for all the comments and messages! You can check out the pictures I snap along the journey on my iPhone on Flickr.
Hi folks (guest blogger here…Joseph made me do it…couldn’t resist a hot, naked man getting in the shower). We made it to Portland finally, and checked into the very cool Jupiter Hotel. It seems to be a hot spot for up-n-coming bands (they have the Doug Fir Lounge) and our room is directly across from the lounge. Yes, it was loud and thumping, but in a “this is kind of fun” way. They did provide ear plugs…
On the way here, we pretty much hit every “valley” (a.k.a. AVA) along the way, including Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, Anderson Valley (Mendocino), a very awesome sparkling meadery in Eureka, CA, Applegate & Rogue Valley (southern OR), Umpqua Valley (central OR), and Willamette Valley (northwest OR).
We tried to hit as many wineries as possible, some really great… some not so much. But all were fun and unique in their own way. We pretty much had every place to ourselves…guess there aren’t a lot of people out tasting wine during the week.
We didn’t just drink wine (really). We did some sightseeing…the CA coast from Mendocino and up was incredible! Driving the mountain roads through the awesome redwoods (Avenue of the Giants) was pretty tough, but Joseph is an excellent driver. We saw a herd of elk, some emu and llamas, and deer. You don’t see that in Atlanta!
We’re off now to explore more of the Willamette Valley wineries, then tomorrow along the “Gorge” on the way to Washington.

I wanted to say thanks to all of you here on 360 for your congratulations and well wishes. I also want to share with you some of our friends that were able to come to California and share our big day. What lucky guys we are!
It is already Tuesday morning and this is the first place we have stayed that has internet service. Actually yesterday my mobile phone did not even have service for most of the day. Dave has been making fun of me that I have been unplugged and having withdrawal symptoms. I think he may be right.
We had a beautiful wedding and I just cannot think of a way it could have been better.
I will be writing a few blogs and share with you the daily adventures since the wedding, but can’t do it all at once, so stay tuned for more. You can check out the pictures I snap along the journey on my iPhone on Flickr.
