when things go bad, they can really go bad.
i like to write, play softball, basketball, camping, fishing, hiking, and lot's of other stuff
Okay, so things haven't worked out the way i had hoped. between winter making a brief, but vengeful reappearance, a bad head cold, and lack of gas in my moped, i just haven't been able to get to the library nearly as often as i'd like. Still, hard to believe my last blog entry was that long ago (march 17th) YIKES!!
But anyway, i'm still alive and well, and looking forward to hearing from some of you again. take care and keep in touch, ta ta and goodbye for now me pals.
HEY! HEY! HEY! It's the jedster and i've got some news for you
Spring is almost here and i've got my moped out and riding it all over hell.....sort of. LOL actually today is the third time i've had it out on the road and it's the second time that it hasn't stranded me way out in the middle of freakin no where. LOL i'm counting my blessings. Anyway, my writing is coming along slowly, but surely. It doesn't help that i keep writing myself into a corner or a dead end and have to rip out several pages to do them over again. And now that spring is so close, and i've been able to get out and shake off the winter blah's i think i could really get some work done.
I want to send an apology out to those who have tried to add me to their contact list. since i live seven miles outside the city limit, it's very rare that i get to the library during the winter time. My moped is my only mode of transportation with out relying on others... well okay, there's always shoe leather express, i could stand to lose a few tons. LOL But now that spring is here, i'm hoping i can get to the library two - three times per week.
That about wraps up my entry. it's gorgeous outside, and i'm hoping the good weather holds out untill the weekend, maybe even longer........like maybe untill next november lol Anyway, like a baseball of the bat of magglio ordonez, i'm am outta here.
At seven a.m., there's not a lot of light this time of year. The sun is just barely rising and on this morning, it couldn't even be seen. You see, we've been getting snow since yesterday morning and when i went outside to feed wood into the wood stove, I was mesmerized by the grey world created by the snow sticking to the trees, on the ground and the flakes that continued to fall. It was beautiful. I know most people don't like the snow because of the driving hazards it creates, but if you can just stop for a minute and look around you, (especially if you're surrounded by forest) you can't help but admire the beauty in nature. It's awesome to see how grey can be pretty.
Having said that, i'm going to close with the following statement; be kind....rewind. LOL
Just kidding. What i really meant to say is: HIT THE GAS, GRANDMA!!!!
No, seriously: if you eat mexican food, don't stand next to an open flame.
Damn it, that's not what i want to say at all, I think my other personalities are taking over; so i'll just close this blog with........MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
