Hopefully I would be able to journal about scrapbooking, crafts, gourmet cooking, and what have you.
Wow, it's been a while since I've done any blogs! So many things and events have gone thru since my last one. On some occasions I've asked Rommel to do the blogging :-).
Well, let's see if I remember anything from the last few weeks. I'll list them down as I remember then I'll expound on the event later ;-). I'll be doing some memory joggling here:
1. 26 November , 9 am to 5 pm, a day out with the ex-BAEA girl friends. Rebecca Ruiz organised this. Vivien Ronquillo and I were brought to Granville station by Rommel. We met Rebecca at Beverly Hills Station at about 11 am. Rebecca brought us to Arrowmaster for a brief windowshopping. At about 11:15am had to leave for Homebush to meet up with Vivian Quach and Betty Olmos. We ate at an Indian Restaurant which Vivian and Rebecca have discovered previously. This restaurant served dishes I didn't normally see in other Indian fast food chains. There were puffy breads and lots of dips. Also there were big round flat crispy breads with dip. Very intriguing indeed but I guess I still need to develop my taste for the spicy dips :-)
2. 26 November, 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm, a dinner with Adolf and Ursula Fober, our German friends who recruited us to join in Amway way back in1994. They served us with a sumptuous dinner of BBQ'ed steak, chicken breast, skinless beef sausage, vegetable salad, fried potatoes and onion rings. It ended with a homemade cheescake and hazelnut cake (Yumm!) with chamomile tea for me and coffee for Rommel
3. 27 November, 12:30 - 3:30 pm, Tyreak Kristian Cala's Christening. Betong and Alysee Cala's baby was christened on this day. Reception was held at the Our Lady of Mercy hall. We met up with Harana friends and started to discuss about having a get together on 26 Dec to 27 Dec.
4. 16 November, 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Xango Presentation, Rommel, Vivien and I were invited by Bernard Floresca (from Chicago USA) to attend the presentation of Xango Juice made from mangosteen and listen to its medicinal benefits.
5. Free Try Sailing day- Rommel and I were invited to check this out. It only happens once a year! Being curious about the experience of sailing, Rommel and I took this challenge. The out come? Rommel's now taking sailing lessons and is on his 4th week already.
I'm tired already...it's 11:32 pm...will continue again some other time...gonna post it without editing :-)
