- More Good Work
-
Goodness, it has been so long since I updated this. We have been doing some wonderful things. I am still living in Austin with my loving husband who is no longer in politics, having been voted out of office in the last election. I was sorry for him but happy for me as now I have him around more.
Our foundation has done well, but we passed the assets along to another organization to actually handle as the work was getting to be too much. There is almost $15 million in it, now, and doing well, giving money to deserving t-girls and t-boyz who need a bit of help.
As for me, well, I am happily doing the housewife and socialite thing and dearly loving it. I am now also taking care of my neice, so I actually get to be a mother, which is a special treat. No one knows a bit about my past and they just accept me as another woman in the neighborhood which is so great and very rewarding.

Wow, I have been very bad and not written. Well, things are going so very well. Our foundation has $10 million and we have been discretely giving the interest away to deserving young transsexual women.
1. Elaine in Baltimore: 35, two children, transitioned following death of the children's natural mother. Now living in a suburb of Baltimore in her own house with child care arranged for. Elaine works as an office manager in a large Pharmaceutical house.
2. Barbara in San Antonio: 25, one child, lives with her mother. We arranged for her to have facial feminization surgery to give her a better chance at her full time trial, which began last November. Presently she is working as a computer programmer with a local ISP and is scheduled to have her surgery next fall.
3. Melissa in Austin: 45, lives alone, had a bad result from SRS two years ago. We paid for cosmetic repairs and FFS. She is presently working for a local Austin Real Estate company and recovering well.
4. Toni in Kansas City: 22, lives with her partner, our youngest beneficiary. We paid for FFS and one year of HRT to give her a chance at a successful RLT. She presently is an insurance claims representative for a local Kansas City HMO.
5. Elizabeth in Austin: 55, lives with her partner, our oldest beneficiary. We paid for SRS, breast augmentation, and FFS. She has been living full time for three years since the death of her spouse and we gave her a head start into finishing her life fully as a woman.
These are but a few of our successes. If you think you ought to donate to this cause, please contact us and we will discuss how best to do it.
My husband and I have been living happily here in Austin now for quite a while and I just love the life that has been made possible. I thank God every day and have to find ways to give back.

- Chicago Gala
-
We had such a wonderful time in Chicago. The gala event was so well done and we had some really great people come out. We raised another million dollars pledged! Isn't that exciting? I got to meet some really nice people, too. We are back in Austin, now, and planning our next soire. My two best friends in the world, Elena and Mira, are coming to visit. These wonderful friends from my home country (UK) are going to spend two weeks with me and I will learn about their recent SRS experience. Elena went to Thailand and Mira was in Canada.
- Summer Events
-
Goodness, a long time since I last wrote anything. We have so much planned this summer. July 4 will be our usual all-Austin bash out at the Lake Travis house. I think we have already sent 250 invitations and expect at least 200 to show up. That will be fun. Suprise appearance by a local politician and one of the best local country bands, too. We are so excited.
Then, moving to charity work, we are sponsoring our first soire for the local transgender community. Working in some confidentiality, so as not to out those who do not want or need that, we have invited fifteen local transgender people to our home in Hays County (the country estate) who will be able to mix and mingle with some of the wealthiest of the Austin area who are interested in contributing to our endowment. This should be quite nice. Sorry, I can't be more specific, as neither the transgender guests nor the potential contributors need the extra publicity.
Then, my darling husband, always the politician, is sponsoring a wonderful gathering in early August to raise money for his next campaign. We are ever hopeful.

Well, I have not written in such a long time. That tells you how busy I have been, I guess.
My husband and I have started our new foundation. We started it with $1,000,000 and then raised an additional $2 million with another $4 million in pledges. We will announce our first grant recipient within the year. I am so excited about this.
We are into the Spring party season so I added four new gowns to my collection. Three are just from the rack here in town, but one is a beautiful Armani I found while in New York last month on a business trip with my husband. Yes, I will keep that gown for a special, special occasion!
Ruth came to town last month and I had lunch with Tommie yesterday. Always good to see old friends. Maria was also here a week ago and she is transitioning nicely. She had her FFS and is recovering well.
I went back and had some additional work done on my labia and am much happier about my appearance, now. There was also some remaining body hair that was just too persistant, so I had that removed last week at the clinic. Slowly, but surely, all those remaining birth defects are being corrected.
Oh, yes....experience says....keep using those stents if you want to keep having sex! I stopped using them a while back after I thought I was okay (after all, my husband was doing me regularly). Well, no so....one day a few months ago he actually could not get all the way inside me. I was scared! So, back to the stents and stretching. It works and is necessary.
Love you guys,
Carolina
