Christmas has come and gone now. It was a nice time for all. My son always makes my Christmas the best of all. He is 14 now and I have adored every Christmas we have spent together. It always makes me happiest to see him enjoy the Holidays. He has gone to spend a week with his Dad and I know that will be time well spent for him. I have a new niece, nephew and great nephew this year that made things very happy for my family. Babies at Christmas are beautiful.
I wish you all a very Happy New Year and blessing beyond our wildest dreams.

Brrrrr.. it is cold tonight. It is 23 and ice on the ground and that is Texas. I am coping much better with school now; I had to get my priorities straight again. Life throws us some curve balls sometimes and we have to deal with it, strike or hit a home run. I need the home run! Great friends are rare and a gift, we need to hold on to them when we can.

Going to school and workng full time, is kicking my butt at times. I know the goal I have set for myself and no matter how tough it gets I must press on. I had a special man in my life but he is gone now and that is sad to me. I am strong and will press on regardless.
