- Entry for September 13, 2006: DM #50 The Secret Of My Success
-
Art Van Dulaid introduces Dominique to a big time fetish photographer in this 4 page installment.
50 is a signifigant number, so I managed an extra page for this 50th installment.
If you're wondering what this 360 page you're looking at is all about...well...It's pretty much yahoo's version of myspace. Let me know what you think of it (if you care.) Maybe you'd prefer an actual Dark MsStress myspace page. Believe it or not, I've actually avoided myspace. The pages I've seen seem busy and slow.
My old forum was hacked by some ass who has something against the french...I don't know why he attacked my site since I'm not french...but whatever! Deleting the daily spam on the forum was really getting to be a time consuming drag!
This installment would've been complete alot sooner if I hadn't gotten hooked on Second Life the last 2 weeks, or so!
Read my blog review below of this amazing chat/game/virtual networking program.

One of the most common comments I get from Dark MsStress fans is something like: 'Too bad it isn't real'... or 'I wish I could be Dark MsStress' next target'.
Well, obviously it isn't real, but let me share with you something that could possibly be the next best thing.
Lately, I've been seeing a lot of comments & questions on various forums. And it seems like every week I'm seeing a news report about 'Second Life'. Suzanne Vega's on it...Duran Duran is planning a performance on it... even political candidates are holding forums on it. What is it? Is it a game?...Is it a chat program? Is it virtual reality? Well basically, it's all the above, and the last few weeks I went ahead, and jacked Dark MsStress into the matrix of Second Life.
When you first register & sign on to SL you get a choice of name, avatar and whether or not you want to sign up for the premium pay version or the free version.
You first enter the world of SL with a pretty generic avatar, your choice of male or female. It's made pretty clear right at the beginning that you can always change your character. The figures look sort of like low res poser models...but, on a good computer the animation is great. On a older model the motion can me pretty choppy...but good enough. It can take a while to get used to moving around (especially if you're on a slow computer) things can take a long time to load since the graphics are pretty heavy, and the SL universe is infinite. But, in no time at all you'll be chatting & meeting other new SL users figuring out how to dress, walk, look around, and even fly.

There's a lot you can do in SL for free,...but after a while you'll begin to realize that if you really want to get more out of SL you'll have to get your hands on some money!
Money on SL is called 'Lindens', and there are a few ways you can make lindens. Beg your rich friends, 'Camp' at various places that give you 3 or 4 lindens every few minutes just for being there, gamble at casinos, or get a job & work for it.
After a few days, I got tired of being poor and spent $10 (real money) which got me 3000 lindens. Sounds like a lot, but it goes pretty fast...because SL has a plethora of malls and shops selling products like clothes, shoes, hair...you name it.
I spent my money on skins which made me look more realistic, a few different hair styles and of course, clothes... Once I had assembled an outfit which was pretty close to my Dark MsStress costume, I was ready.

I joined a few groups to let some people know that Dark MsStress has arrived, and I was pleased with the response I'd gotten from a number of people who already knew me, read the comic, and wanted to meet me. As well as made some new fans discovering the webcomic for the first time. They've already established a few TG TF fantasy groups, and a forced feminization training area which is pretty fun for role playing & meeting people who are interested in these type of transformations. Here's me transforming some cocky guy into a sweet submissive slave girl.

I also decided to get a job on SL to make a few lindens, so I can buy more toys. So Here are a few shots of me dancing at an up & coming club. Hey! It's a living,... and the tips are decent.
This thing is amazing. There's more that you can do with it then you first realize. You can take screenshots & make comics. You can also make movies on it using your friends avatars as your virtual cast.
I recommend you check Second Life out, and if you do... Give me a holla! You may have your TG TF wish come true!
