fishing has been a little slow due to the tropical depression the last few days.but now that things have cleared up we are off and running again. Better news on Tuesday the 5th see you there.
- The heat's broke and the fishing's rich
-
After postponing three parties last week due to the heat we're back in action, and man is it good. One group was plumb wore out from reeling by 10:30AM, and the cooler was full already, so we just went for a boatride.
There's nothing like a first double-header. Moments like this picture last a lifetime.
- Sharks!
-
Whazzup with all the sharks? Caught more sharks in the mouth of the Rappahannock this year than we usually do 2 miles out in the Bay. Maybe it's all those delicious Spot!
- Bottom fishing on fire
-
The lower Rappahannock has been covered up with spot lately.

Left the Patty Lee II tied at the dock for a while to help out a friend running commercial tugboat services up the Rapahannock and down to Norfolk. The Wolftrap area is covered up in stripers enjoying the warm winter. I guess the bait just didn't get cold enough to leave. Makes for a promising spawn this year, and great seasons to come.
