I have nothing at all against blondes, as a matter of fact, I was blonde once. LOL! Anyhoo, (and yes it's anyhoo) I found this joke to be quite hilarious. I got it from a friend of mine, so check it out, and if you are blonde, please...please...don't get offended. It's only humor. Peace.
A Challenging Puzzle
A blonde calls her boyfriend and says, "Please come over here and help me.
I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get it started."
Her boyfriend asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"
The blonde says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a tiger."
Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle.
She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table.
He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box,
then turns to her and says, "First of all, no matter what we do,
we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a tiger."
He takes her hand and says, "Second, I want you to relax.
Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then .."
He sighed........
"Let's put all the Frosted Flakes back in the box......."

As you all know from previous postings, I wrote a couple of blogs regarding my (used to be) best friend for almost 20 years. She'd been going through some severe physical abuse from her ignorant ass boyfriend. It's been almost two years since they've been messing around and it's been a comedy to me. For her, it's become the norm. (so sad) Anyhow, when I last left off, she felt that she needs to abandon me as a friend because my husband and I didn't want to engage in her joke of a life by rejecting her collect calls from jail. Not as though we can't afford them or anything, but because we just didn't feel like going there and simply being used as a communication tool for his sorry ass. Anyway, I took my Yahoo 360 fam's advice and left the shit alone. I felt fine, cause I didn't feel I did anything wrong.
She ended up coming over my house soon after her release(without an invite) and the moment she entered the door, we just looked at her with a void look. She ended up jumping up leaving after about 5 minutes because no one wanted to converse words with her. I honestly couldn't bring the words out to say anything to her. Nonetheless, I ended up bumping into her sister last week at AJWright (yea, that's a sistah's place to shop) and we had dinner that night. She asked that I go so that she can give me the updates on my so called friend. What I heard from her sister was somewhat a shock but not really. She told me that since my friend had gotten released from jail during the Christmas Holiday, that her idiot man had broken some bones on her, hospitalizing her and she's acquired several black eyes in the past four months.
He still continues to cheat and perform his drug selling abilities while using her as a punching bag. She continues to accept this unbelievable behavior and live as though it's the right thing to do. I really felt bad, but it's also like "oh well". In addition, their home had gotten raided earlier this month, and apparantly the police are still watching them. I guess their selling of illegal narcotics has increased drastically and the po-po's are on the watch. Finally, I found out that she was sentenced for the shooting and she serves her time starting June 1 of this year. That's in less than 6 weeks from now. (wow) She was sentenced by a trial jury to 2 years for felloneous assault with a firearm.
It's really a sad shame, because we had a great relationship and even though she came over to make amends with me, I still didn't feel it anymore. I look at her differently now. She is NOT the person that I grew up with. The person I grew up with wouldn't jeopardize her life for some slimey, grimey ass guy. I am very scared for her life and I pray that he doesn't kill her. I know theres nothing that either myself, her sisters, brothers, and her mom can do right now, because she is totally cool with all this but at the same time if something happens to her fatally-then I don't know if I can live with that. She is a cool person, up until she met this guy so I know how she really is and what I see isn't her. I don't know what else to do, so I just try and leave it alone. This is very difficult for me, for I am a very warm hearted person and to be so cold isn't sitting well with me, however in this situation, I feel there is a need to be this way.

In modern times, teen crimes are sadly escalading, what do you think is the underlying factor behind all the violence? This story is very unfortunate and sad, and a child's life was lost in another child's hands. What, as a society are we to do?
In 1999, the nation was shocked when a 12 year old boy, Lionel Tate, was arrested for beating to death a 6 year old girl, Tiffany Eunick, a family friend. Lionel's attorney argues that the incident was an accident, and that the boy was merely imitating wrestling moves he had seen on television.
Tiffany's autopsy revealed that she had suffered a crushed skull, broken ribs, and more than thirty internal bruises. Her liver had been shredded adn pushed through her rib cage. She must hav screamed in agony before her death, but her cries were unheaded. The thought that Lionel was merely "playing " seemed ludicrous considering the damage done. Before his trial in adult court, Lionel's mother and defense attorney turned down a plea bargain offer for a three year sentence followed by couseling and treatment. At trial, the boy was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. Many was surprised that such a young child could be given a life time prison sentence. Three years later, the conviction was over turned on appeal, and a new trial ordered on the grounds that Lionel had no been given a competency evaluation before his trial.
Because Tiffany's family was favorable to clemency, the prosecutor offered Lionel the option of pleading guilty to second degree murder with a sentence of the three years that he'd already served, another year of house arrest, and ten years probation. He must also receive counseling, perform a thousand hours of community service, and wear a monitoring device. Lionel walked out fo prison on January 26, 2004.
Having read the story above, what do you think? After reading about his actions, do you feel that 5 years served in a juvenile facility is the appropriate consequence for the death of his playmate? Also, FYI, after two years o f being released, he ended up violating his probation by robbing a pizza joint (armed) and is currently serving a 30year sentence. (according to a recent internet article) UNBELIEVABLE!
