I look to the future...mine, yours,and all U.S. people
The Perfect Storm of the Future: (as follows)
*China owning more than 50% of our contry's debt.
*Socialized Health Care-WONDERFUL! Who's gonna pay for it, control fraud, corruption, it's debt, 100,000's of foreign people sneaking in to get a peice, etc., etc.,...
*The Boomer's health care & entitlement TSUNAMI - More unpayable debt, higher costs of health care, longer lifes and the astronomically exspensive technology to for it to be so.
*Terrorists who have more access to higher tech, more powerful & more portable WMDs. "Imagine a world without the United States" The President of Iran - 2006.
*The disapearence of big ticket manufacturing: Automotive, Shipping, etc. China along with building a dam is said to be building a city for global market sized auto manufacturing - a Chinese mega modern-Detroit.
*The growth of run-away illegal immigration. I LOVE people from foriegn lands but not when they are treated like slaves, die at the border, go to prison and there suffer, live in squaller, have no benefits, live under the control of street gangs, etc.
*The Soverinty of The United States: "I'll buy that for a dollor." ...or an Amero?
*Nucular Brush Wars: Isreal vs. Iran - India vs. Pakistan - Pakistan in civil war.
*More dependence on oil from ever more hostile regimes: Venezuala, Russia, Mexico, Nigeria (facing civil war), Suadi Arabia (Imagine a fundamentalist Wahabi regime taking over those fields). And all these nations, imagine their leaders telling us what to do to stay in their good graces. OR do they do that now...and they continue to buy up our debt? Stay tuned...'cause you have to.
*India & China being able to do anything the U.S. can do (including techno inovation that directs the future. And they are able to do it as well and many times over and over again (and able to afford it) till the U.S. is... just not that remarkable anymore.
People worried during the cold war....a lot. "Worry never solved anything." "The only thing we have to fear is...FEAR itself." But one can look to the future by looking where the contemporary lines would converge. (Those lines are spelled out above - see*). There is such a thing as healthy concern. Especially if those lines converge at a place called natonal bankruptcy. Or maybe they won't converge there or anywhere else.
Hope Not....? I just want my future to have fun times having great arms and great legs ...not having to take arms? ...along with everyone else. I wouldn't like that. If you have to do that it usually means shooting. And shooting in this day and age goes both ways. What do you think?
