Logic

Two farmers, Jim and Bob, are sitting at their favorite bar, drinking
beer.

Jim turns to Bob and says, "You know, I'm tired of going through life
without an education.

Tomorrow I think I'll go to the Community College and sign up for some classes."

Bob thinks it's a good idea, and the two leave.

The next day, Jim goes down to the college and meets dean of admissions, who signs him up for the four basic classes: Math, English, History, and Logic.

"Logic?" Jim says. "What's that?"

The dean says, "I'll give you an example. Do you own a weed eater?"

"Yeah."

"Then logically speaking, because you own a weed eater, I think that
you would have a yard."

"That's true, I do have a yard."

"I'm not done," the dean says. "Because you have a yard, I think
logically that you would have a house."

"Yes, I do have a house."

"And because you have a house, I think that you might logically have a
family."

"Yes, I have a family."

"I'm not done yet. Because you have a family, then logically you must
have a wife. And because you have a wife, then logic tells me you're
likely a heterosexual."

"I am a heterosexual. That's amazing, you were able to find out all of
that because I have a weed eater."

Excited to take the class now, Jim shakes the Dean's hand and leaves to go meet Bob at the bar.

He tells Bob about his classes, how he is
signed up for Math, English, History, and Logic.

"Logic?" Bob says, "What's that?"

Jim says, "I'll give you an example. Do you have a weed eater?"

"No."

"Then you're a queer."

I thought I'd share this; this is a video a friend of mine on myspace did. He's in the Canadian military. PROUD SALUTE TO THE CANADIAN WARRIOR

Well,,,,,,,,,it has been ages since I've done a blog!! I don' know why I haven't been able to get into it lately I hope everyone is well, healthy and happy! First off, I'd like to say our thoughts and prayers will be with our really good friend, Penny who has knee surgery this week. We're sure it will go well, but it's never a nice experience going in for surgery. LOL this blog's for you Penny!

So,,,,,,,,we've moved into our first home!!! It's wonderful here,,,,,,,,so peaceful, quiet and really beautiful!! There are quite a few things we'd like to do, finishing touches,,,,,things to make it really feel like OUR home. First thing i think, is we're going to put up a fence around the whole backyard!! Which will be next year lol as it will be quite expensive i think, as we have a fair sized backyard. We have forest land behind our yard, a little creek or stream that runs through. And there's an old railway that also runs through, so we've been told. We haven't actually gone back there yet. We have had deer in and around the yard a few times, which kind of makes me feel guilty about putting up a fence,,,,,but there are a few neighbourhood dogs that seem to think our backyard is the local park. The puppy right next to us, I don't mind her coming into the yard, as her and Beauty have become quick friends, but the other ones, well they sort of bother me. Like i always say to Tony though, it's not the dogs,,,,,,,,,,,it's their owners. We'd like to also finish the two decks we have, one is quite large, the other is a smaller one off of the dining room. And well, I'd really also like to put in a pool We'll see how things go though, for the first year, I told Tony i just want us to settle in and stuff. We have a few boxes left, little knick knacks, ornaments and papers, to do with the business etc. I think we need to get a filing cabinet for all of those lol We also met our neighbours right next to us, they seem very nice, well the father and son. The neighbours in the back of us are selling their house. It was almost sold, and the people who almost bought that house, were looking at this house first, but i guess the boyfriend like the other one more. They're asking for $100,000 more than was we paid for this house though. And i guess they couldnt' get approval for that much, then they tried to come back and get this house but it was too late!! LOL we made it just in time i guess.

Well, i guess that's it for now. I'll be posting some pics of our house and the yard soon. All my wires from my digital camera are packed still though lol. Hope you all stay safe, healthy and happy. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones

We, unfortunately, have a funeral to go to this Saturday. My sister's boyfriend, common-law husband passed away last Friday morning. He, was only 37. He had heart problems since he was a baby, but it's still hard to accept, considering he was so young. He passed away peacefully, in his sleep at least. He didn't suffer, just went to sleep and did not wake up. It's still very hard to accept though. Her and the kids have been staying with us since it happened, and will for a bit still. It would be hard for her to go home, all the memories right now. So, please keep her and the kids, and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourselves, and your loved ones.
