Justifiable Racism?(WAR-words by His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie, sung by Robert Nesta Marley): OK this will be a touchy subject, but it has to be that way. I love Dr. William Cosby Phd. and he is a role model of mine along with Robert Nesta Marley and others. This isn't about airing dirty laundry, because as Dr.Cosby says "your dirty laundry gets out of school at 3pm!"

Today''s racial climate is explosive and most of it is because of IGNORANCE. For the sake of this blog i will talk about racism as it relates to black folk, but this is in no means a problem limited to black folks.

What i want to know is this: Are the images WE put out there of OURSELVES used to justify racism, and racist attitudes against us? If we degarde our women often, why do we get upset when Imus did it? Why not get upset at EACH instance of it?

When we shuk and jive are we giving folks the wrong impressions of a proud people? Are we so busy wanting to be entertainers, that we decide that education no longer has any value? Are we so full of hate, that we love to hurt each other based on self hate? Why do we do these things?

Years ago i went to a ZULU NATION rally in New York, and met up with some young brothers from Japan. It was so amazing to meet them and they hardly spoke english, but could recite (at the time) every lyric of Das EFX! With all of the power and influence that we as a people, ESPECIALLY entertainers hold, don't we owe more to our ancestors?

If we keep portraying(in various forms of media) that we are thugs, sell drugs, and ready to fight, how can we get angry when folks believe us? Are we justifying folks racist views of us?

Worth every penny of 350k (are you crazy Lance Briggs?!): So yesterday i go to my weekly pilgrimage to the car show here, and look what rolls up. Just on the eve of Lance Briggs(see article below) smaking up his lamborghini! I tell you exotic doesnt even BEGIN to describe this car. Just the smell of the leather ALONE was enough to send you into a state of pure unadulterated bliss.

I tell you as baaaaaaaaaad and i do mean baaaaaaaaaaad as this car is, it isnt neccesarily built for a large man such as myself (see 6'4'' and tipping the scales at a svelt 300lbs of perfectly placed sexiness..lmao.) At any rate, seeing one of these up close and personal lets me know that its worth every penny of the 350k paid for it.

I am just waiting for either the Yankees, Knicks, or Jets to call me, or for me to hit the lottery! Because you are my 360 family, don't be surprised if i swing by several states and pick a few of you up. Only thing is.............can you drive a stick shift?!

(CBS) CHICAGO Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs was charged Monday afternoon after his brand new Lamborghini was found crashed and abandoned on the Edens Expressway.

Briggs contacted Illinois State Police Monday morning and was charged with a misdemeanor and two traffic citations, but lots of questions remain.

Illinois State Police said they found the black 2007 Lamborghini Roadster crashed into a guardrail and light pole on the northbound Edens near Devon Avenue around 3:15 a.m. Police confirmed Briggs was driving the car.

Long ruts from the car's wheels were visible in the grassy shoulder along the highway Monday morning.

Police said Briggs contacted them Monday morning and officers met with him at Illinois State Police District Headquarters in Des Plaines at 4 p.m. Monday. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, a misdemeanor, and failure to give immediate notice and improper lane usage.

Briggs, who's got a good reputation and no criminal record at all, didn't say a word as he left state police headquarters. He was released on $100 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 4 in Skokie.
