Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match.

browser idea
[crossposted] remap F12 to be the bosskey to bring up some random pie chart. trying to hide the browser window with the typical two handed key combinations is slow and the minimize button is never where you think it is. apple already has a bosskey built into the os: apple-h.

windows done right (write?)
good write up on the microsoft's unix approach to file permissions.

my short wish list for longhorn: a better, more powerful cli. it would make my job infinately easier if i could do all my remote administration via command line/shell scripts than going through the a clugdy gui/dos prompt/vbscript. i want a more cli that's part of the default windows install so i can be sure that my scripts will run on any machine on the network. there have been times where i have a simple perl script to do an odd job, but i couldnt run it all the time because the target machine was missing a perl interpreter. writting stuff in vbscript is a pain as everything is longwinded and the it's always confusing switching from c like syntax to vb syntax.

becoming keanu reeves
lumines is designed to have play mechanics simular to tetris and bejeweled. do not be deceived by this design; lumines is not a casual game that you can play by stealing minutes here and there. i just played a single game for what seemed like twenty minutes but was really over an hour. on the upside, i have a new personal high score! (really looking forward to a flickr integration...)
