Like Vietnam, the American soldier cannot be defeated on the field of battle, only by the failure of the political class to stomach the hardships of combat.-- David Bellavia--> Click here

Red Marilyn Finds New Home!
Red Marilyn Finds New Home! magnify
"Happy, Happy!  Joy, Joy"!  as Stempy used to say.  Red Marilyn  has found new digs.  We now reside over at  Greatest Journal.  Quite a name to live up to, but with a few things we found especially attractive.  Not as user friendly, perhaps, but with a load of features, particularly if you can manage some html.  We're also able to agregate Daily Work and Big Fat Workbook onto one site, as we do here.  Pssst...Don't tell anybody, but there is also some possibility of an automotive afficionado's site coming onboard, as well as some film reviews to round things out.

So...come see us over at Red Marilyn's new home:  redmarilyn.greatestjournal.com .  We're still tweaking it.  Not quite the same, but maybe even better.  And please bookmark our new address, because after we've taken care of our archives here, this site will probably go dark.  And we'd really miss you.

Red Marilyn Looks for New Home
Red Marilyn Looks for New Home magnify
We love the user friendly format  and easy access to news and photographs provided by Yahoo!.  We  love just about everything connected to Yahoo! from the mail to the news reader capabilities of MyYahoo!.   We use it heavily and consistantly throughout the work day.

Recent news about the complicity of Yahoo! in the jailing of a pro-democracy Chinese  presents this bloggger with the moral and philosophical  necessity of finding another server to host Red Marilyn.  It may be a challenge, as Red Marilyn has taken an involuntary vow of poverty and free and quality do not always c0-exist.   So until Red Marilyn is able to find a new garage and  restart her engines, please feel free to visit our sister sites Daily Work  and Big  Fat Workbook .

A bit of background:  Yahoo! turns over information about pro-democracy Yahoo! user.
Criticism of Yahoo! and China actions here.

By the way, we draw a distiction between  the earlier espionage case and the current one involving membership in a pro-democracy group.

We have really enjoyed seeing our readership grow and hope to be available to you again soon.
