Movies,Music and Me...What a combination????
I have just started reading this book and already liking it. This book has 50 points on the ways to live the Good Life.
Now, what is good life? Well, according to me, good life means, being healthy, tension free, joyful, playful, and doing everything positively. The meaning of Good Life is not limited to only these, but it means much more.
Alexandra Stoddard, in her book, has explained just that. She has explained the 50 ways to live the Good Life very beautifully, briefly and precisely. To know what she has written, you should definitely get a hold of the book.
WE just happen to go to Arkansas (pronounced as Ark-an-saw), and on the way we pass through the city HOPE. It was really surprising for me to know that the former President of U.S., Mr. Bill Clinton was born here. Its a very small city. But really beautiful. Below is some information on Hope provided by http://www.arkansas.com/city-listings/city_detail/city/Hope/
This small town in Southwest Arkansas has two claims to fame:
it is the birthplace of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and it showcases some of the world's largest watermelons. The Clinton Center preserves Clinton’s first home, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is open for tours. The city’s restored Missouri-Pacific Railroad depot serves as the Hope Visitor Center and Museum and contains local history exhibits and railroad memorabilia. Each August, visitors to the Hope Watermelon Festival sample slices of ice-cold watermelon and view huge melons grown for competition. Nearby Old Washington Historic State Park is a restoration village preserving the 19th-century town of Washington, which figured prominently in Arkansas and Southwest U.S. history. Evidence suggests that Sam Houston, Stephen F. Austin and others plotted Texas’ revolution for independence from Mexico while staying in the town. Washington also served as the state’s Confederate capital after Little Rock was captured by Union troops during the Civil War.
I recently went to San Francisco, California. Wow, what a trip it was. The moment i entered, I remembered Mumbai, India and Kolkata, India. It's a mixture of both. One one side, Cable Cars running and on the other hand, Mountain and river. It was a beautiful scene.
We went to see the famous Golden Gate Bridge, and did Tandem cycling. It was so much fun. My 7th month old daugther liked it the most. It was cold and foggy, but it was amazing. It was 2 hour bike trail and we just loved it. My husband rode in the front and I in the back with my little sweetie pie in the baby carrier. Wow, it's undescribable. You need to be there to feel the moment.
3 days passed like anything. We will definitely go back there again once our little sweetheart is old enough to remember.
