I went for Chinese food today, and the guy behind the counter said, "Hey! Where have you been?"


also, I am back in Portland. and the amount of things i have to do this week is becoming ridiculous. meanwhile, my parents are at the beach.

What a week it has been! I haven't had wi-fi in ages, but I am at my friend Ryan's house now in Buenos Aires for a few days. I have posted pictures on facebook and flickr for everyone to peruse.

My last day in Cordoba, I did a day-long hike in a National Park. We went down to this giant canyon, where we ate lunch while watching condors flying around. It was awesome.

Then I took the 20 hour bus ride to Puerto Iguazu, which is in the north of Argentina, on the border with Paraguay and Brazil. There are some giant waterfalls there! I have lots of pictures that I will post when I get home.

While I was there, I ran into Sabrina, and we came back down to BA together. Ryan is leaving FRiday, so after that I will just be chilling out until Monday, when I fly back to Chile. Then Tuesday afternoon I will be in Portland!

Does anyone want anything from Buenos Aires?

Hey all - I am in BA with Ryan and Sabrina from my class, I have lots to blog about when I get some good internet access.

Well I am still in Santiago. I was supposed to go back to mendoza today, but the mountain is closed again. With no prospects of opening anytime soon. Which really sucks because I was looking forward to getting out of Santiago.

Last weekend when I was in Mendoza, this picture is the scene I stared at for 4 hours while we waited in line for immigration and customs. When the pass is closed, there is a bit of a backup. So the next few days might be...frustrating.
