Okay I received the email about 360 shutting down in July and moving my profile. So I moved my profile at least I think I did and I am not sure how you are to post and if this post will go to my new profile. I hope all my 360 friends that are left on this site will join me on the new site. I figure it is worth a shot. posting a flower from my deck.

Spent part of the day looking at apartments today with my daughter. She found one she really likes and I think she plans to get this one and move into the apartment in August. Great apartment and nice area. She has a lot of stuff she need to get to set up house. At this time she has a bean bag chair and inflatable bed. I hope all is well with all my remaining 360 friends!! Craft on! The picture is from my daughter's trip to the Bahama's.

Yesterday my daughter graduated from WSSU(Winton Salem State University). She graduated with a BS in Fiance and a BS in Marketing. It was a great day. I have dreamed of it since the day I brought her home from the hospital. When she was little I talked to her about doing the best she could in school so she could go to college. She is now with her friends on a cruise to the Bahama's. She will be back on Thursday. So no work at all on my sock for the last week. I have spent some time reading.

Today was the last day of my sock class. I spent the class correcting my mistakes on the gusset. I had to rip back and re pick up my stitches. Carl fixed a lot of my loose stitches and I am now on the right track. I feel so dumb I could not figure out why my stitches started going in the from direction and it turns out I was knitting in the wrong direction. So now I have different color stitch markers under all 3 needles. It will keep me knitting in the right direction and since I have to do something different on all three needles during round one of the gusset it will help me keep track of that too. I feel so silly. knitting in the wrong direction. Oh well I would not be me if I did not do something dumb at least once a month. Since this was the last class I did not get to work on my toe with Angela the other lady in the class, Hedi could not make the class today. So I will be on my own. I am sure if I drop by the store one day Carl will help me he is so patient and if I did not get all keyed up I am sure I could get what he tells us to do the first time. I am slow on the up take most of the time. I have to measure my foot to see how far I need to knit to get the right length. I have to remember to count my stitches. Once I get past my first pair of socks I really think I will enjoy knitting socks! Happy crafting! The sock class was wonderful and well worth the money. Gusset!!! I want to say the killer gusset. Somewhere during picking up stitches and trying to start the gusset I have messed up my sock. My stockinette stitches are in the inside of my sock. I am not sure how to or how far to rip back since I am doing the double pointed needle thing. I hate to go to class on Saturday without my gusset done. We are working on the toe. The you tube video I watched just did not help. So I will go to class without my gusset done. If I can survive this first pair of sock I know I will enjoy knitting sock. I love a the pretty sock yarn.
