Abortion Versus War
Abortion Versus War magnify
This topic is something that is very hard for us to talk about.

The issue is not really Abortion Versus War, or War versus Peace, though many people may think so.

Let me explain. I know that many of you are going to have a lot of things to say when I post this blog, because what I am about to say is quite controversial, and many people I think are even in denial about it.

Everyone knows that killing, or murder is wrong. No one denies this. No sane person anyway.

However, throughout history, killing has been tolerated through WAR. Why? Is not fighting, whether on a large scale or a small scale wrong? Is not killing whether on a large scale or two individuals killing each other wrong? Death is the opposite of life, and doesn't Jesus tell us to choose life?

Abortion is also death. The mother chooses to kill the child within her. I am not here to support the Pro-life movement... all I am doing is stating a fact.

Now I will get to the so-called meat and potatoes of the subject I wish to explore, now that I have established these facts...

Why is it that many people who support the Pro-life movement... against Abortion, also happen to be pro-WAR? They are the first ones to want us to go across seas and fight a war, any war, even if they did nothing to us... for example the Iraq war. The Iraqis didn't do anything to us, and yet for some reason, our president who claims to be pro-Life is also pro-death because he wants war.

He is not the only one.

I know that there are many of you out there who want this war, and yet are against Abortion... You all know who you are, even though you may deny it.

Now, I am not saying that everyone is like this, but I know that there are many hypocrites out there, who either Love War and Hate Abortion, or who Love Abortion and Hate War.

You can not possibly hope to achieve enlightenment, and be like Jesus if you keep being hypocritical like this. Change your ways. Love only peace! Do not love, and certainly don't promote death of any kind. Rebuke death, or have you not heard of the angel (satan's angel) of death?

God bless!

Psalm 2
Psalm 2 magnify
"Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth take their stand
and the rulers gather together
against the Lord
and against the Anointed One
'Let us break their chains,' they say,
'and throw off their fetters.'

The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
Then he rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
'I have installed my King
on Zion, my holy hill.'

I will proclaim the decree of the Lord:

He said to me, 'You are my Son;
today I have become your Father.
Ask of me,
and I will make the nations your
inheritance,
You will rule over them with an iron scepter;
You will dash them to pieces like
pottery.'

Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear
and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry
and you be destroyed in your way,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him."

I believe this relates to the state of our country today, as well as other countries. Let us pray for our leaders, that they use the Wisdom of God in their decisions.

God bless America,

God bless the Whole world.

Unity Versus Individuality
Unity Versus Individuality magnify
I wanted to talk about this topic, because it has been on my mind and in my heart for a long time.

As Christians we are all trying to eventually achieve the state of Unity with God. After all, a "kingdom divided cannot stand". But what exactly is this Unity with God? How do we as Christians come into a state of Unity? And how do we know if we have achieved this state or not?

Many of us Christians value our individuality. We value the power behind being able to stand up for ourselves, to have our own thoughts, to be our own person. Is this Unity? Is this how we reach the level of being like Jesus? As Christians, our goal is to become like Jesus, right? We all know that Jesus had a "God like" quality, even non-Christians know this.

What made Jesus so special? I believe that it was that he had the ability to look at something and know everything about it. He could see things we could not see. How did He do this? By having complete unity with everything around Him.

As Christians we wish to be more like Jesus. But my major question is this: Are unity and individuality really compatible? Is it possible for all Christians to become unified, yet still be individuals?

I guess we have to look at what defines individuality. This definition was found in my dictionary:

1. The quality or character of a particular person or thing that distinguishes them from others of the same kind, especially when strongly marked.
2. Separate existence

In the Thesaurus it says:

Individuality:

The need to assert our individuality, distinctiveness, distinction, uniqueness, originality, singularity, particularity, peculiarity, differentness, separateness.

I find that many people value their individuality, in fact, many might be lost without it, but is this really what God wants of us? Let us look at the definition for Unity now.

1. The state of being united, or joined as a whole.
2. Harmony or agreement between people or groups.
3. The state of forming a complete, appeasing whole.
4. A thing forming a complex whole: "They speak of the three parts as a unity."

My question is: How can anyone truly be unified if they are individualistic in nature? Individuality is the desire to separate ourselves from others, to be unique. But unity implies that we come together and be as one. So, can we truly have unity and individuality at the same time?

Jesus had unity. He had the ability to know everything. He was one with everything, and even told us in parables to be unified, as in the first quote I gave. I do not recall Jesus saying anything about us needing to keep our individuality.

If we are to be unified, what does this mean? How do we become unified? I believe it takes more than just setting aside our differences. I believe it will take a lot from us to be able to be unified as Jesus was. We need to be in prayer constantly, without ceasing. We need to get to the point that we feel His spirit, His power flowing through us constantly. This way we can see things from the spiritual realm and be able to do ALL the things that Jesus could do.

Amen.
