Just being me . I am not online much as I have been working hard on my business and getting it more profitable as I sort of like the finer things in life.

This is my bucket list, as many of you have probably watched the movie The Bucket List staring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. If you haven't seen it, I liked it and recommendit. Watching the movie is not the sole reason for me to start my very own bucket list. Just in the past 7 days, I have lost one classmate age 55 and another friend who had lukemia, and to top that one of my younger sisters has ovarian cancer. Hopefully she will be fine and they
got it all. So as I have been looking over my life and what I have done and what things I want
to accomplish (my bucket list) before I kick the bucket.

If you have read my blog in the past. I try to look at things from a positive point of view, and this is no different. I am happy for who I am and happy for what I have accomplished. I am proud of my family and proud of the friends that I have. Some of this list may seem wackey to you. But it is MY List. Mandie's List and if I dont accomplish all of these. Oh well!

1. Hike down into the Grand Canyon. I was there 20 years ago and it was winter, my son was only 6 then.I said to myself, I am climbing down in there someday. Well him and I are going in. We have already have it planed in May. I will not hike down in heels but I bet I could. My legs and my body are in good shape as tonite I did 2 hrs plus of basketball. I am ready.

5.To be wined and dined at some 1st class resturant. A resturant that is on the top floor
of a high rise hotel or building. I would be in my best and classiest dress and heels and have
a date that is polite and respectful of me. Good conversation over wine and dinner with a person who wants to be in the company of a classy women.

6. To be determined.. Well I have an idea. I may disclose this later.(Giggles)

That is my Bucket List.. Hopefully I will add to it and have plenty of time to cross some of these off the list, before I kick the bucket.

I want to thank all my family and friends who make my life so enjoyable. My dear friend Paula said something last nite which may be true.That I have a little gift. "the twinkle in the eye that come hither smile" I do smile alot, well I enjoy being out with my friends and I feel so contented these days.

The last day of 2007, Wow it went fast!! It was pretty good year for me and I continue to look forward to 2008 as being even better.

Some of the highlights of 2007.

Always going out and being myself. More, More and more with different activities from bowling, fishing, shopping, dinning, putt-putt golf to just conversation with good friends. A few road trips this past year included weekends to the Dunes Resort in Saugatuck, Dayton Ohio, Indianapolis, Indiana and local trips to Detroit, Ann Arbor and half a dozen clubs in Toledo including Eclipse niteclub were all fun. Being out and about is what I like, it doesn't have to be with a bunch for me to have fun.

I was also voted as Ohio Pink Lady of the month for August 2007 and then Ohio Pink Lady of the Year. I want to thank all that voted for me. The Ohio Pink Lady group is a great group of people that includes many significant others as part of the group, and this a group that support each other and we have fun doing many different things together. I have gained many friends from being part of this group.

The fishing this past year was all excellent as I used my boat to catch lots of walleye and salmon. I spent more time on my boat this year than any year in the past 6 yrs. I enjoyed taking family, especially my dear grandsons, friends and their kids out fishing. I even recorded a short video of me in my femme mode catching a walleye with my dear friend Paula and spouse on board.

Then at the end of the year I started my own business and it has been going very well so far in 7 weeks of business. I look for a great 2008 and a good profitable business.

But the best part about 2007 was the great friendship that I have gained. I use to have these emotional ups and downs, where the downs just were deep and it was hard crawling out of them somedays. Now for over a year now, most every day is a up day, The secret for me , is balancing family things with my fishing , and femme time, and having friends that cheer me up when things dont go right and also staying positive. And thing about staying positive, I think ahead to good times and recall all the good times I have experienced and dont dwell on anything negative. My life is not perfect but I make the best of it.
