Why do African-American Women hate and envy each other? Do we as African-American women breed envy? And how can we stop it?

All my life I have seen women hate and envy one another to the point of self-destruction. We are so bad that we breed envy within our own families. I remember being taught that we as women are born manipulators. Well, I say I’d have to say that is a very good observation and real explanation. But mix it with poverty and ignorance and we can destroy a nation of a people. The woman is man’s first teacher. She is the nurturer and the teacher of our seeds. But we must be careful of who we let educate our women.

It has been said that the black man is very visual. This means that what we see is what we have the tendency to believe. So is our sisters watching potential self-destructive materials that are dissolving our souls and killing our seeds? The education that has been taught to our people are brainwashing and influencing the minds of our people that admire the wrong stars. The American government has allowed the media, the school system, the prison systems, the political hypocritical democracy, the medical system slowly poison us to the point of destroying our people. Our women are believing that the lighter then skin the prettier they are, the more skin you show the sexier you look, the less amount you read the smarter you are, if you imitate the lives of the celebrities that is the “life”, that all brothers are sorry and lying cheating man whore’s, that we must use our bodies and not our minds to get what we want, and to get your paper by any means necessary. Black people have allowed American to “pimp” us turning us out to all of us being no more than “$5 dollar crack whores”. Chasing the American dream is our crack. We are hopeless addicted to trying to live the “dream”, that black people continue to sell each other out to get a hit. We have completely sold ours souls.

But look at what it is doing and has done to the women. Hello!! She, (The Black Woman) is the teacher of our babies, she is the creator of many nations, she is the epitome of love, she is your mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and wife. At least some of us know the truth and magnitude of this at least. However, until we re-educate, the miss-educated about societies’ dehumanization of African Americans of this country.

America has taught us to be cynical and selfish toward one another that we are destroying ourselves but the only way to correct it is to protect the minds of our women. By doing so we will be able to re-instill morals, values and possibly culture. Until we do this, our women will continue to breed envy and hate like “Willie Lynch,” intended. We need to educate our sisters on loving and respecting one another as sisters and family. Look at us now; we fight our own like mother against daughter, sister against sister, cousin against cousin all in the name of envy.

Even the men can bear witness to most drama is caused by women. Many men have lost their lives and freedom (so-called), to the envy that we sisters, can bring to any relationship. Most Black women are gossip and drama queens that believe that with the power of the vagina we can take over the world. And if you think that is a lie then you are walking around with your eyes wide shut. Now I can’t tell you that we don’t use it as a biological weapon to manipulate and control the masses, but didn’t America teach us this. There are not many that will or can contest this truth. Bottom line, White American has poisoned our minds to the point of not knowing how to use our heads from our tails. Naturally this type of thinking is taught to many little girls from birth. This miss-education can happen be it a father is within the home or not. After-all many African-American males have been dumbed-down and had his manhood taken from him so he does not know how to protect us. This kind of thinking can be stripped from the minds of our people but none of us really want to take a stand to change it but think it couldn’t hurt.

The man is also key in stopping the “hate,” that we bring to one another. If he were to become the man of the household then this is the foundation to the reconstruction of the Black Woman. He is the key in decreasing the envy within women. Men really don’t know the emotional devastation that a woman suffers when he breaks her heart. This too is also a remedy to that spread of envy. Men need to understand that just because you can have more than one woman don’t mean that you have the mentality or the manhood to handle it!

Maybe if we carefully evaluate these words and ourselves then we can see the solution is simple but the motivation is not there due to envy. Envy causes us not to be even able to rationally understand truth. I just hope that perhaps before we all destroy ourselves we wake up!

Uhuru! Hotep! Peace! Ma salaam a!

I usually don't post lyrics on as a blog, but today I had to share this one. This is one of my favorite songs by Talib Kweli. Once you have read these lyrics, listen to the song. I believe that these lyrics represent the lack of communication and unification. Talib expresses how I feel everyday when it comes to having a simple conversation with someone. For example, say you have a problem and you want to talk to someone. You choose someone that say that they are "religious." Why, because you feel that you would like to talk to someone with world of encouragement and understanding from a "Godly perspective." This makes you feel more secure. After-all we have been taught to go to "God" for all of our needs. Therefore it is only logical that you would seek help from someone that you believe that knows "God." Now that you come to this person and share with them you have a problem depending on their faith, they may say, "have you prayed?" Or, you may try to speak to someone claiming to be religious but yet they cannot talk to you because they don't know you. Let us not forget that if you are not on the same team or have the same faith, they won't even acknowledge you. Why can't we talk to one another without labels?

Whatever happened to having a friendly conversation with your brother or sister. Why is the question of our faith or "what sect you claimin, " always the reason the abruptly halts the conversation. This means that if I am not on your team or share the same belief that we cannot talk or befriend one another. Which further means, that we are all hypocrites.

It is really amazing to me that families won't speak to one another over the fact that you don't share the same belief. I have family members that won't talk to me right now because I am no longer claiming any religion. I tell them that I am "spiritual," and I do believe in a higher power or entity. They tell me that this is blasphemy. They tell me that I am going to hell. I tell that before we were labels, we were family. All these different religions and beliefs only cause separation. This is why we can't even communicate with one another. We let our beliefs get in the way. So much so that we can knowing know that a friend or family member is committing adultery but won't tell them they are wrong. But if they really believed in what they claim to believe in that they would know that they are sinning. However the same person won't talk to another brother or sister because they are affiliated with your religion. That is such bullshit! Now am I to understand that it is ok that the nice christian brother who got his mistress pregnant is right to tell me that I am wrong? Some of these "Muslim brothas" like to chase women because you can have 4 wives. Let's not forget about the "Jews." Jews like to look down everyone outside of Judaism because they are the "amongst Gods favors." Funny, you will promote all things that God said no to in America and abroad and call it justice. For instance, must of these big hollywood producers put homosexuality, promiscuity, violence, adultery, greed and racism on your tv screen, movie screen and magazines and call it freedom of speech.
You say that America is the greatest country and is a Christian nation. Bullshit. This is modern day Babylon. The only freedoms we have is everything that God said no to. At least, that is what you say you believe, right?

Now I know that I may hurt some feelings when I say this, but I don't care what religion you claim if you don't live it or represent it. Shut up! If you know that a loved one is being abused and you say nothing then you aren't fit to represent your religion. If you know that a family member is gay and you say nothing then you aren't fit to represent your religion. If you know that you or a loved one watches porn, gossips, gambles, fornicates, is guilty of materialism, take drugs, cheats, lies, steals, back-stabs, betrays, turns back on anyone, looks down upon, misleads, coerce or just act like don't no something an incident that you know is wrong, shut up! You don't even represent your own belief!!

Do understand long before the word religion existed we were ONE. The descendant of Isis and Osiris have been reduced to ignorant fools. We believe in things that we have only understanding of. This obviously must be wrong, look at the condition of the followers. Isn't something, that once we got "religion," the greatest and longest wars have been fought in the name of. Confusion and separation in the name of religion limits us to great denominations of nothingness. And with all of this confusion we are living in hell, catching hell and going to hell.

Wake up!!! And check out these lyrics!!....Get this CD!! It is a must!!

We are all in God's favors but if you cannot live a righteous life and love one another then keep your mouth closed

Talib Kweli's Lyrics for "Given 'em hell"

[Intro]

Okay
This what it is now a days right
Little noises and whatnot
I got one though
Ready or not

[Chorus]
It’s all going to (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)
Yup, they giving us (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)
Word

[Verse 1]
Every Sunday dressing up catching gossip at its worst
Couldn’t see the difference in the Baptist and the Catholic Church
Caught up in the rapture of the first chapter and second verse
If we all God’s children then what’s the word of the reverend worth
Taught early that faith is blind like justice when you facing time
If we all made in God’s image then that means his face is mine
Wait or it’s that blasphemy it’s logical it has to be
If I don’t look like my father then the way I live is bastardly
Naturally that’s confusion to a young’n trying to follow Christ
Taught that if you don’t know Jesus then you lead a hollow life
Never question the fact that Jesus was Jewish not a Christian
Or that Christianity was law according to politicians
Who was King James?
And why did he think it was so vital to remove chapters and make his own version of the Bible
They say Hell is underground and Heaven is in the sky
And they say that’s where you go when you die but how they know

[Chorus]
It’s all going to (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)
Yup, they giving us (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)

[Verse 2]
I’ve been to many churches I’ve quoted many verses
I’ve dealt with my base self I controlled my many urges
I used to study my lessons
It was a blessing not a curse
I learned that Heaven and Hell exist right here on Earth, word
Studied with Rastafarians and learned from the dreads that Hell is called Babylon
And that’s where them crazy boarheads dwell
They got us thinking that Muslims like to make bombs
[Give 'Em Hell lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

But real Muslims believe in paradise and the resist the Shaitan.
So it all sound the same to me
That’s why when they say one is right and the other is wrong it just sound like game to me
It’s like God skipped past the church and came to me
No that ain’t vein to me
It’s just a particular way that I came to see
The difference between those who claim to be
Religious and those that say they spiritual
And recognizing that life is full of miracles
You could see my glow in a rhyme
The poem divine ‘cause it coincide with a grow in the time that those who looking for God knowin' to go inside

[Chorus]
It’s all going to (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)
Yup, they giving us (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)
Yup, they giving us (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)
Yup

[Verse 3]
Yo, living in mass confusion
Looking for absolution
The gas-inducing psychopath produce the last solution
Based on his interpretation of what the words were saying
Trying to get to God but ended up doing the work of Satan
Religion create the vision
Make the Muslim hate the Christian
Make the Christian hate the Jew
Make the rules of faith
That you condition to and to you gotta follow
And God forbid you go to Hell
But if you ever walked through any ghetto then you know it well
We in the third eye of the storm

[Chorus]
It’s all going to (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)
Yup, they giving us (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
It’s all going to (Hell)
Yup, we living in (Hell)
Yup, they giving us (Hell)

[Outro]
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want
Just because the lord is my shepherd don’t mean I gotta be no sheep
You feel me?
More blood is spilled over religion than anything in world history

Listen!!!!

I have been sitting and waiting for the right words to come to me to create my new blog. Well I have something that is on my heart and my mind that I need to share. So I don't know if giving it a title justifiable. For this is more than a blog, this is my internal and eternal struggle. This is my "Jihad!" Listen!!! Do not label me for my use of the word, "Jihad!" It's literal definition is, "Struggle." We all struggle each day to survive. This doesn't necessarily mean financially, though for most of us it does. What I mean here is how we try to maintain our sanity day by day.

I have observed

Entry for July 25, 2007-What is Black or African-American culture? magnify
I have been away again for some time but now I am back with a very serious series of questions.

What is Black or African-American culture? Is there a definition or description that explains today's generation of African-Americans? Are most of the answers based on stereotypes, TV and videos, music or just propaganda?

Here is a couple of definitions of culture:

1. The behavior and belief characteristics of a particular social, ethnic and/or age group.

2. The ways of living established by a particular group of humans and inherited by generations of that people.

So let's play devil's advocate. Does this mean that our culture is hip-hop, dancehall, R&B, weed-smoking, dope-dealing, pants sagging, naked women, booty-shaking, frivolous spending, self hating people that degrade ourselves because it's a cool culture? Is this lifestyle that is portrayed by us through the media the way we are looked at? Because every kid that think they know what is cool acts this way and refer to our people. This is what they learn that being "Black" is. Now what is really sad that was just some of the adjectives that are used to describe us as people. SO please help us all out by helping me to understand African-American and/or Black culture. Or at least some ideas of who we are so we can let everyone know we are much more.

Entry for December 10, 2006

It has been along time since I wrote a blog. I decided that I would contemplate long and hard about what I wanted as well as needed to say. After along time of pondering of why is that we as African-Americans, struggle no matter the income level. That's when it came to me. We are suffering from terminal illness. This disease is destroying Black Americans. Have you ever just sat down a thought about a cure for a disease? This disease is an epidemic. It afflicts over 70% of the Black population. This disease, causes broken homes, teen pregnancy, homicide, suicide, genocide, heart disease, stress, heart related problems, cancer, sexually transmitted disease, poverty, helplessness, hopelessness, heartache, abandonment, fatherless/motherless children, the breakdown of all family structure, greed, envy, thievery, mass deception and ignorance.
Many of us that suffer from this disease don't even know that they have been afflicted. Unfortunately most of Black America suffers from the "Tinted Window Syndrome." This disease "is the leading killer of people of color."The Tinted Widow Syndrome is cause be ignorance. This ignorance is caused when a person of color does not have know of self and has been "dumbed down", by the American educational system. The symptoms include, self hatred, envy of your own people, violent/criminal acts that are committed against one another, "Crab in the Barrel Syndrome"(when one crab tries to get out and the others pull him back down", the act of coveting his neighbors by being a snitch, liar, follower, thief, whore, beggar and blindness to truth and reality. The more severe side effects includes, hatred of own self and color, denial of self, denial of truth,  acceptance of all white lies, homicide against brother and/or sister (be it blood relation or friend), Delusions (of acceptance), Hysteria ( of not being hood rich), Paranoia(due to you having courage to seek knowledge, and rejection because of the knowledge of obtained), Hypertension (due to all of the pain/stress/fear of all the wrong you have done in the name of ignorance), and long term suffering.
This Syndrome, is when you as an individual, are standing behind a glass. This glass is thick but you can see through it. Behind this glass wall you see and here people you know and some you don't. You can hear everything that they are saying but they don't see you. They cannot hear you. They are blind to the reality of this glass that separates us. There are the people that can see this glass. These are the people that are trying to break through to help the others on the opposite side. Unfortunately they don't even recognize that there is a barrier. It is the conscious that see and hear, and the followers/believers that don't.
There is a cure for this. And we don't have to go to any pharmacy to obtain any drugs to mask the symptoms. So stop taking that Paxil, Seroquel. Prozac, Prevacid, Tums, Inderal, Coumadin, Topril, Xanax, Ambien, Valium, Codeine, Adderall, Topamax, Hydrocodone and many others. This cure is simple, painless and quick. It may call for some unity and faith. And I don't meant he bull that you are sold on Sundays and Saturdays. This is real faith. You see since Blacks and Latinos make up for the most revenue spent on consumer goods then we can change things. All we have to do is come together on just this one thing.  Just this one time, we need to come together change some things. Violence is not the answer. The only way to beat some of these white people is to think. That's right, think. They created this bullshit society we call home. So when in Rome, do as the Romans' (forced) right? Ok fine we can do that and here is how. We need to set aside one day or more, however, and not spend one dime. That' right folks! NOT SPEND A RED CENT! If all of us pull together to do this we can change quite a few things in this nation. We can stop the senseless killing of our people by the police; we can make the government hear our cry. Because if you are not talking dollars, then you don't make sense (cents), feel me. This is my contribution to help change my condition. What about you? Once you are done criticizing, just think about it. What else can you do that will strike harder than any missile or hollow point?  Thinks about it like this; you have never thought about anything before. In our parents and grandparents time that marched. Well we appreciate all that it did and all that "they" gave. We shall not ever forget the live lost and the slain leaders that fell. This is the contribution that we are to give back. This is a new day and a new fight. Let's make our people/ancestors/slain leaders proud.
We will boycott everything; gas, electric, groceries, certain bills (credit cards, cell bills, cable, etc.). On this day our silence will ring at an ear deafening decibel. We shall be heard all over the world. Let’s do this!
This is for the Katrina victims, our people slain by the police and government, Martin, Malcolm, Edgar, Ron Brown, Kunta, Assata, Huey, all people that have fallen to crimes of this racist government.

Pass this on to every person that you have ever cared for. This is the key to the crossroads.
